My Name is Akhilesh Kumar and i am resident of 5th Main, Jaibheema Nagar, BTM 1st Stage, Bangalore-68. We are not geting water supply from past 2 days i.e. from 19-Feb.-2010 and when we call on complain numbers[protected], 41106507, 41106508 which seems to be BWSSB local 24 hours helpline, no pickup the call more over on number 26539206, people pick the call and hang/cut.

We also observed that specailly in our area, it happens once during full weekend(Saturday&Sunday) everymonth. This looks like some of the higher official of BWSSB is involved in this who get supply stopped by taking bribe or any other form interest from the LOcal/private water suplly bodies.

This is totaly rediculas, if BWSSB official are not able to survive with these bribes/others why don't they take money in form of bill charges Misc. from consumers only.THe Complain number 155313 naver works from any Mobile/Airtel or other private telephone providers connection.

i am resident of L.B. SHASTRY NAGAR near HAL Old Airport.It is very sad to know the govt doesnot take any step in this matter.kindly provide water supply to L.B. SHASTRY NAGAR.This area has not seen how cauvery water is, The current BWSSB water supply till HAL at least please provide water thrice in a week.all residents have a connection of BWSSB but there is no supply.i hope BBMP/Corporation will help in providing water supply to our Area.

SUB: NO WATER SUPPLY IN HAL 2nd Stage, Indiranagar, Bangalore-8.

Since the past 2 months, water supply has become very less and erratic(2 hrs supply in 10 days), due to this we are forced to buy water at Rs.400 per load, added to this we have to pay the water bill also, i have contacted the Executive Engineer (BWSSB Ulsoor) personally and on phone several times, the reply will be sounding positive but the result will be nill.
We are faced with undue hardships due to the lax attitude of the BWSSB, the concerned authorities please, please, please do something to restore the water supply to normalcy.

I am resident of BCMC Lyt, raghuvanahlli 5th main, adjucent to us BCC lyt, there is a leakage in sewage line from BCC lyt which si flowing into our BCMC lyt, I had given a complaint and BWSSB is telling thath they will not do as it not handedover to them, it was under BDA first and then no it is under BBMP. I have approached BBMP first and the adivsed to contact BWSSB and now BWSSB is telling they will not do. Pls help out whom to approach.

Regency Magnum Apartments is located in Hennur Main Road, next to Indian Academy college. The complaints of no water is well known to the division office of BWSSB Kalaynanagar and efforts not taken to resolve the problem.

Complaint and 2 reminders were sent to Chairman/ PRO and little action has intiated by division office in locating the valve and after that again to square no.1.

The ultimate sufferers are the flat owners who are denied of BWSSB drinking water though the monthly bills of Rs.14,308/ been paid since from august.

We presume that the officials of BWSSB are engaged all the time for private works rather than public work.

We are looking for the solution at least thru this complaint forum.

I the undersigned wish to state that, I am residing in East of NGEF Layout, Kasturi Nagar (Vijinapura) Behind SAIL not getting water from since one year, it is very difficulty for Drinking Water, I have three written complaint to BWSSB, Krishnarajapuram, but there is no response for the same.

Sir, I and my family are suffering so problems since last one year, I kindly request you once again please kindly advise to BWSSB, Krishnarajapuram to arrange me for drinking water as soon as possible.

With reference to my previous mail, i would like to appreciate the personnel of the BWSSB for repair work done on the leakage of drinking water pipe near sai mandir, t.r.nagar.

But, recently i have been noticing lots of small leaks for the pipes supplying drinking water to homes in Thygarajanagar area.Every alternate days when drinking water is supplied to the homes, the road becomes watery. I think that we should not be wasting water as most other parts of the Bangalore are facing lot a water shortage.
My suggestion would be that BWSSB personnel should regularly check and maintain the supply pipes which i think you people would seldom do.

We stay at Kagadasapura First Cross, CV Raman Nagar, Bangalore 93.
Water supply is available only once in a weeks or 10 days.
This forces all to buy water from tankers.
When BWSSB is not able to provide water for its existing consumers, they are expanding it with Phase4/5 etc to new areas.
Would like to know what are the ways to officially register the complaint, is there any obligation/law which says that BWSSB must provide some minimum amount of water in a month.
After paying a hefty sum to BWSSB it is very disappointing that we do not get enough water to meet even 10% of our requirement.

My name is Anu, I am resident of HSR Layout 7 th Sector(Bangalore - 560 068).We have taken the cauvery water connection by paying one and half lakh one year back.

Initially the water was coming good, from past 5 months we hardly get water due to few of our neighbours have taken illegal connection with out any meter.We are apoting for tank water every
week.

We do have separate tap given for each lane for local people.

We have complanied to nearest BWSSB twice orally but no action has been taken till date.

When ever we re-visit they will inform us they will action on same after the election.

With last hope we are lodging complaint here.

Dear Sir,

I stay in the following address

No 1430, 18th Main, 1st stage, 5th block, HBR Layout, Bangalore -43. For the last 60 days, the cauvery pipe line which goes beneath the road in front of my house is leaking. This is causing water stagnation in front of our houses and subsequent problems of mosquito breeding etc. we have take up the matter with the local authorities and there is no response. The mail sent to the chairman of the BWSSB also does not get any response.

I am absolutely at sea as to what to do to rectify the pipe line. when i contacted a private plumber, i was informed that this pipe line has to be rectified by bwssb authorities only.

I would request my complaint to be taken up and action taken at the earliest.

Subject: Water Crisis & Officers do not respond to the complaints & very rude to me

This letter is to inform you regarding the water crisis in our area for the past one month.

Last 20 days we are not getting water supply properly through BWSSB connection. We have to depend on private water supply agents inspite of having cavery water supply connection. One of the major problem in our area(Road) is that Main water supply line is connected from a downside area towards upside(hill side) area instead o[censored]p to down side. It can be easy rectified by making the Main water supply connection from Upside to down side. This will help to get water supply even when pressure is low.
All the residents in our Road are facing problem because of not having proper water supply.

Also I have been in regular touch with Mr. Malla Reddy & he assures that a tanker will be sent but till date nothing has happened. When questioned he says I have informed the driver if he doesnot come what shall I do. This clearly indicates the poor administration quality of your officers. We have been purchasing water from the private water supply agents. Mr. Chalapthy & Mr. Venkatraju doesnot even bother to respond to my phone calls. I have been sitting in the BWSSb office from 0600hrs to 0800hrs today & have also written in the complaint book for the requirement of a water tanker. I awaited till 1000hrs & no one responded from BWSSB end. At 1020hrs the tankers came & filled for the houses next to us & never bothered to care for us. At last I again managed to get a supply from the private agent. This is really becoming an harassment for me & would request your good self to order for an enquiry. With the above condition it was really a night mare for us to survive for the past one month in that particular area without proper supply of water.

Hence I shall be grateful if your goodselves conducts an thorough investigation & provide me a solution for this problem at the earliest.

This is with heavy heart I am writing this mail.
My house is located in Shankrappa garden, Magadi road Near Sampoorna Ice cream factory, Bangalore-560023.The main drainage line has been blocked and the sewage is over flowing for the past 2 weeks. I have given the complaint at Magadi road, 5th cross BWSSB office on 13th of June, 2009.( Written the complaint on the book). Till today no body has come and attended the problem. Because of sewage flowing near house lot of mosqitoes are breeding and myself, my wife and my 4 years old son have fallen ill and also it has become very difficult to live with the foul smell.
I request your kind self to direct the concerned people from BWSSB to rectify the drainage problem immediately so that people over there can live healthy.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am resident of HAL 2nd stage, 17th 'B' Main, Bangalore. THU 11th June 2009, there was a huge rain fall in our area, due to this, the drainage was blasted and all drainage water enters in to our house inside, The water level inside the house was almost 2-Feets. All our house hold things got wet and lot of damage and caused huge amount of inconvenience. We did not sleep whole night. We are regularly paying the water bill and maintain charges to BWSSB, but they are not taking any action in our area to solve these long existing drainage problems.

I am a resident of HSR layout, 7th block, bangalore. I am living in an apartment "Kalpatharu Paramount". The sewage lines near our apartment are blocked. The sewage is flowing on the road. we are facing lots of problems because of this.

Ours is 80 flat apartment and we we noticed that the cavery water supply is not adequete to our apartment. We also registered a complaint regaridng same and BWSSB plumber visited the site. He informed that there is some fault in the meter and same needs to be changed to get the required water supply and he is charging some 8000/- for same.


Request you to kindly look into this matter.

We are the residents of Maruthinager, Madiwala we are hereby attaching photos and video's for your kind pursual.These photos are taken on 21-05-09 at 8.00pm, due to heavy rain our area gets flooded with drain water coming from adjacent open drainage system the stink is unbearable, Drainage gets blocked and it invites diseases it is nightmare for us during rainy days.This is happening from past 12years.All the complaints have been given but no stern action has been taken.

A newly constructed bridge serves no use.Kindly intervene and give us permanent solution for the above problem as soon as possible.Waiting for reply eagerly.Please don't ignore.

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am located at #231, 1st Main, 3rd Cross, KSRTC Layout, J.P.Nagar, 2nd Phase, Bangalore - 78. There is a man hole just infront of my house. The entire Sewage line used to get blocked very often and inspite of repeated complaints no proper action was taken. Atlast Just 2 months back they had replaced entire pipe line. Now from past 3 days same problem has started. The line is blocked and the sewage is overflowing from the man hole. On repeated complaints the line man had just put some stick and cleaned it and no permanent solution is found. We requested for the pumping lorry to be used for cleaing so that the eitire line would be cleaned, but they intrun threaten us stating that you have to shell out lot of money for it. I request the concerened authority to take action immediately and solve the problem once and forall.

From last 10 days we are struggling as the sanitary pipe as Nohastreet is got block and all dirty water is floaing on the road.We have given no of calls to the our local BWSSB office[protected] every time it enagage or even they pickup they say we will send them.As we had got fed up of them we personally visited the office and asked them to come with but they denied saying they will caome after some time.Anyways they came the next day and they just made the water to go and they did not clean it and they said we can do this much only we are not able to clean it and they went away.Till today all the roads are blocked due to the dirty water .Each time they come they have taken 100's of rupees from us.

Sir i kindly request you to pls send some personal and clear this .We are really in a very bad position.
