[Resolved] BWSSB — Defective water meter
Since April 2008, the water meter ( Sub;Division S-275, Customer ID 31264, RR No:13332/mm) went out of order. We have registered a complaint with the Sub Division and contacted the Assistant Executive Engineer many times and contacted on phone. Nothing has been done so far. Even the meter reader stop coming to our complex and promptly send the bill stating "Meter Stop Working"
but charge us the meter rent.
1.We would like to know why we have to pay charges to a "non-working" meter?
2.We would like to know if BWSSB is financially incapable to provide a meter for the past 6 months?
3.We would like to know what is the response to our complaint docket number 35727 dated[protected] in addition to the complaint registered with the sub division?
4.We would like to know if we can purchase a meter and install it ourselves?
We hope and pray to God almighty to bless you with some sense in customer care who pays close to Rs 95, 000.00 for just about 861kl of water in one year averaging almost Rs.110 per kl against the tariff published at Rs.6.00 per kl.
Please help us, so that at least we know how much water we get for 72 families every month.
