I AM A PENSION HOLDER FROM EPF, OFFICE FROM GAYATHRIPURAM, MYSORE WHICH WAS UPTIL TODAY GETTING DEPOSITED IN MY BANK ACCOUNT NO 6549, IN BRINDAVAN EXTENSION BRANCH, MYSORE.BUT MY LAST PENSION WHICH WAS SENT ON FEBRUARY 23, 2009 BY EPF OFFICE HAS NOT YET BEEN CREDITED IN MY BANK ACCOUNT .MY PPO.NO.IS 58.WHEN WE ENQUIRED IN THE BANK WE WERE TOLD THAT THE CONCERNED OFFICIAL IS ON LEAVE.THAN IS IT NOT THE DUTY OF THE BANK TO GIVE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THAT PARTICULAR OFFICIAL TO ANOTHER PERSON IN THE BANK.SO PLEASE LOOK INTO THE MATTER AND PLEASE SEE TO IT THAT WE WON'T BE FURTHER EMBARRASED OR HUMILIATED OR WE NEEDN'T HEAR ANY OBSCURE LANGUAGE FROM THE BANK AUTHORITIES.

I had an account in Alwarpet Branch Chennai dated 19.10.1984 and my account no: is 3975 and my balance amount was 256.75. As I lost my Pass Book i couldn't make any transaction. Now I want to
withdraw the money deposited by me. how it is possible for me to get the money as I have settled in Kerala.

Dear Sir,

This is with reference to my Family Pension (A/c no. - 41860) received at Canara Bank, E.O.K. My pension has not been increased after 6th Pay Commission, instead it has been reduced.

Earlier I used to get Rs. 6711/- as my Pension, now it has been reduced to Rs. 6529/-. After April 2009, including D.A Rs. 6867/-. I want to get this checked, that why my pension has not been increased .

My. P.P.O. No.[protected] dated 10.3.2000 debitable to Central Government.

Kindly look into the matter and do the needful as soon as possible.

    I am an ATM customer of Canara Bank of Allahabad, Branch Civil lines, with ATM Card No.[protected] and account No. 14611. I went to AAI-DU, Allahabad ATM for cash withdraw on 06th march-09. When I operated fast cash transaction to withdraw Rs. 4000/-, system processed for a minute and display an error i.e. processed period out of time with silence mode. I have neither received cash nor transaction slip.

    Later, I went to Canara Bank of Allahabad, Branch Civil lines when I checked my account after updating my passbook, Rs.4000/- had been debited of 06th march-09, which were not received by me. It was system’s error. Just I called to customer care of SBI, he replied me for applying to account holder Branch.

    Here by you are requested that please check it and credit Rs.4000/- in favour of my account.

    Transanction Error in ATM Transaction on dated 06th March 09

    I am an ATM customer of Canara Bank of Sarita Bihar branch, new delhi with ATM Card No. [protected] and account No. 8953. recently I m in bihar at Saharsa for last 5 months & using ATM here for money transaction from SBI ATM, one day I went to SBI ATM which is located near Saharsa court for cash withdraw on 29th march-09. When I operated fcash withdrawel transaction to withdraw Rs. 15000/-, system processed for a minute and display an error i.e. unable to processed with silence mode. I have not received cash & only got transaction slip. it was showing sorry unable to processed.

    Later, I went to another SBI ATM which is very close to previous ATM Saharsa, when I withdrawl 15000/-& got transaction slip it was showing that 30000 has withdrawl, but for ur kind attention here at Saharsa I can only withdrawl 15000/- in a day before April, so I received only 15000/- on that day & another 15000/- which were not received by me. It was system’s error. Just I called to customer care of SBI, he replied me for applying to account holder Bank

    Here by you are requested that please check it and credit Rs.15000/- in favour of my account & let me know if any quarries.

    My brother in law an ATM customer of State Bank of India of TCA branch, LEH Kashmir with ATM Card No.[protected] and account No. [protected]. One day he went to CANARA ATM which is located near Mattuthavani bus stand madurai for cash withdraw on 07th April -09. When I operated cash withdrawel transaction to withdraw Rs. 20000/-, system processed for a minute and display an error. I have not received cash & only got transaction slip typed the word TRANSACTION DECLINED COTACT BANK. it was showing sorry unable to processed.

    Later, I went to SBI ATM which is very close to previous ATM. I withdrawl 20000/-& got transaction slip it was showing just like previous statement that 20000 has withdrawl, but for ur kind attention here it was system’s error. Just I called to customer care of SBI, he replied me for applying to CANARA Bank because block the money in canara bank so ask that "MATTUTHAVANI ATM BRANCH CANARA BANK"

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I have opened a savings bank account in Canara Bank, Aruvankadu(Aruvankadu branch), Nilgiris Distt, Tamilnadu on 11 Mar 09, My Account number is 25400.

    It is already passed more than a month. So far, I have not received my pass book or any documents of having account with the bank. I personally visited to the branch every alternative days to get the pass book. But, response of the concern staff is very ignorant a customer. I require the pass book for the further transactions.

    I visited the Canara bank to write an email to customer support dept. But I didnot find any email ID in the entire website to contact Canara bank. Then I contacted costomer care through phone. I got a very bad response that the bank is not under core banking. About 13(thirteen) branches presence in the entire Nilgiris district of Tamilnaud, Not a single bank is provided the core banking facility.

    Now I have no way to approach the Canara bank authorities to get better services.

    I have a savings bank account with AXIS bank. Service of the bank is good. They will give us a prompt response of every requirements. Comparission am upset on Canara bank services.

    Kindly, suggest me to solve the above. Please help.

    This is to inform I, Mrs Neha Das had done one direct transaction from canara bank atm on 14 / 07 /

    2009 at 19:00 hrs near station road kalyan. The transaction was declined & interupted as there was a

    power failure.

    Howevere in the receipt which i had received from the other atm ( indian bank ) shows the amount of

    Rs 5000/- as withdrawn.

    Regarding this i have already sumitted a letter with enclosed receipt of indian bank atm to manager of

    canara bank, murbad road branch. but still my account has not been credited with the amount.

System procsssed for a few minute and display shows sory unable to process.Later I went to canara bank at adivaram and checked my account after updating my pass book RS 1000/- had been reducted from my account.This is the second time . Firstly it happend on 7/9/09 with RS 200/- At that time I had already given one wriiten complaint to our branch manager.       My father is holding savings account in canara bank, pallavaram brach, chennai, my father got debit card but that card has not activated so far even today. I have stepped and out to the bank for more than three times. There has been no action taken by the officer who has taken in charge of issuing debit cards, last week before, again i have approached the officer for the same issue. That officer didn’t...

      Subject: Complaint letter (for irresponsible and bad words using)

      Dear Sir,
      My Name is S. Ananda raj, I have an A/c (no: 23494) in Canara bank- Eral( Tuticorin Dt) . 1 year before I was applied for atm card. Now also I am not getting the atm.

      Regarding this matter I went to Canara bank (Eral – Branch) on last Thursday (05/03/2009) at 11.30 am. Their staff ( Kelaston Jeba Kumar) is not given proper response to me.

      He said that (very sound noise) “ you have cheque bounce in ur account, we never need your account, never come to our bank, you should get out from our bank now, “ and also he told me some bad words . That time some body’s watching me, I was really upset

      After few minutes, I met the Branch manager and told them the problems clearly but he has not taken any action.

      Now I need justice sir, cheque bouncing is happened but employee will never use the bad words. I think you know what I am saying.

      Pls take immediate action and also in future it will never happen to public.

      I am waiting for Ur valuable reply in this regards

        Hi,

        I'am not able to access my ATM service on any Bank ATM. My card is Blocked and needs to be activated so that i can use in near future. My Account is with Canara Bank, Guindy Branch, Chennai, Tamilnadu. My ATM card Number is [protected]. I have contacted my Branch and handover some letters personally to the officers. But still i haven't got any response from them. My SB A/C number is 31629. Please reactivate and send me the new pin number of my ATM card so that i can use the card or i have a option to cancel my account with your Bank.

        Sir,

        I am unable to access Canara Bank ATM Centers to withdraw my money. and the ATM requires for personal information about me, and advice to contact your nearest branch. Actually this problems comes from yesterday, I am unable to withdraw our money, it is very difficult from these bank procedure, and my debit card expiry date july 2012. and my atm card no [protected].

        Please take steps immediately and solve this problem

        i have enough balance in my a/c . I have got canara bank debit visa card but it was not activating. does not shows any balance. Why was this happening. i used it only once. is it will activate after first use sent me replay immediatly

          The service at canara bank is terrible, I have an account with Canara bank mahim branch, and i had submitted the net banking request almost 6-8 months back.. but till date there is no rever at their end..

          while i was submitting the request form at the branch the manager, was most incorporative. he was not ready to provide proper information and service.. more over he was not even having the form.. ihad downloaded the form from the site and submitted it. He said that it would take 1 month... surprising, while other banks take less than 7 days to process such request, CANARA bank has not yet activated the netbanking request submitted 6-8 months back..

          Very miserable, pathetic service... quality is going down cause of the staff.. who are non-coperative and act as if they are doing a big service on us... it is rather better to opt for other banks.

          saving a/c — a/c not in process?

          Dear sir
          I undersign account holder of HDFC Bank A/c No. [protected], Ludhiana, (Punjab) i m transfer my mony to this a/c from DOHA, QATAR through union exchange RS.56000 it was confermed that it deposited in a/c but when in india my family member try to withdral the money through ATM Card(debit card) on that time the message displayed on the screen is THIS ACCOUNT IS NOT IN PROCESS.
          Kindly help me out for this same what the resion behind that, kindly update me b'coz i m in DOHA, QATAR through the mail, i m waiting for your kind responce.

          We reside at Dubai and hold a NRE A/c at CanaraBank Jaynagar Branch also a local A/c at the same Branch. We had applied for a Net Banking facility for the local A/c in the month of May 2008 before leaving to Dubai. But we never recieved any information till the time we returned next i.e till November month. Later one entire day we spent in the bank either waiting for the manager or for someother person to Assist. When we said we wanted to open a NRE A/c everything just happened immediately. But None of the staff including Mananger knows a proper information about the netbanking facility. Saying who is responsiblle to give the password. Atlast we got the password, then we moved to Dubai. But in netbanking facility there is no option to transfer the amount nor any other facility. Where in ICICI Bank, HDFC bank facilities are superb.Today i.e Mar 6th 2009, when I called up to check about our NRE A/c status, on the telephone number[protected], a lady picked up the call and said they do not have time to assist. I asked for the person who was free and who could help me. She said Noone was free and nobody could help and she just disconnected the call. We never expected that kind of respnse from the bank official. As we cannot make the call to the tollfree number, we had called up to the bank. Someone please help us to assistance through mail or any other where we could get the information.
          even i have the same problem.I had submitted the net banking request almost 6 months back, but till date i have not received my login password and nobody is able to give me a proper answer.

          Canara Bank — money transfer not recieved for i month

          my brother in law had sent money from the united states of america on 21st of july and i was supposed to recieve the amount in 24 hours but i did not recieve the same and after following up for 1 mont from both sides i have recieved the amount only on 25th of august because of this i had to resort to borrowing money from elsewhere at high intrest rates and had lot of mental trauma as i was unable to meet a deadline for the purpose for which money was sent as a result the transaction did not take place . i would like to get a suitable answer for this
          I have sent money to my account in India to Canara bank branch Shahabad 585228 in Karnataka state, Gulbarga dist. on 26 oct . through Standard Chartered Bank Nairobi, Kenya till date the money is not transferred in my account in India in Canara bank Post Shahabad, Branch Shahabad, Dist Gulbarga, Karnataka state Pin 585228. I went to Standard Chartered bank in Nairobi they shown me the transaction slip which shows the money is sent to India but when enquired at my bank they don’t have any answer as the money has not reached there, please look into the matter and help me.

          Icici mahim branch — Wrong debit !!!!

          A cheque of 74000 was issued in my favour and deposited with the mahim branch. Instead of crediting the cheque the bank has debit this money from my account

          Mahim is the worst branch I am suprised how they can afford to make su h mistakes !!!

          Please apply canarabank net banking the security is very poor to compare with ICICI bank.

          So many online cheats are there in canara bank net banking.

          In tamil nadu one bpo fellow lost nearly one lakh of money from canra bank net banking.
          Every banks' employee working as a catalyst to the net banking customers, except Canara Bank. But in case of CANARA BANK'S employees approach is really negative. They really discourage the net banking. This is only my personnel experience. Thanking You
          We also had experienced the discouragement of the bank staff towards net banking. we received our id and password many months later after submitting the application.After having the facility also it has not been much useful to us since they have not given fund transfer and other facilities to the users. The service is not at all much effective. It has just been for namesake.

          Canara Bank Net Banking — not delivered

          The docket no. is [protected], i have not received my net banking letter from canara bank.
          Yes. I am waiting more many weeks for the activation of my net account. They said it will get activated after they get the acknowledgement of the reception o[censored]ser id and password. I received them many weeks back. Still I account is not get activated.

          Internet banking is the worst in canara bank among all the banks in India. First, you have to apply for creation o[censored]ser ID and password. It is not automatically created when you open an account. Then, it will take months or years to get your username and password. The activation will take another few months. Then, you cannot access the account directly from your browser. You have to download an application called cansecure - which looks like it is a software made by high-school student for his project. Very stupid software. It will not work if you have not registered your mobile number in the account. Then you will have to register your mobile number. Then you will receive the activation number on your mobile. Now, after activating internet banking on one computer, you can not do online banking from any other computer. You have to again follow the activation procedure all over for new computer. Finally, after doing everything, when you login to your account, you cannot see anything useful there. No funds transfer, no recharge options, no proper account details, non-working links - absolutely useless facility. You have to again run behind the bank manager to activate the other options. It has been more than two years since my ordeal started. And during all these, if you try to contact customer care through toll free numbers - you can never connect till you have re-dialled the number 50 times. It is easier to conect to the President of India. Worst Worst Worst ever service.

              Highly irresposible behaviour on the part of the Bank in Mysore, Nazarbad Branch.without verifying the Manager sent me packing by telling me that they are yet to receive the new card-the old card was giving me a lot of problems so I had surrendered it 3 months ago.when I was on my way to Blore the manager is gracious enough[pun intended] to call me and asks me to collect the card as he had not verified it earlier when I had visited the branch for this very purpose.
              There is no reply from the customer cell of the Bank either.
              I am disgusted.

              My name is Soumya Srivastava.My atm card no. is [protected].My transaction of 3000Rs. from the ICICI Bank ATM 3465 at 19:20pm gets Declined due to System Error.When i done my transaction from my Canara Bank ATm1088, my transaction got processed and i debit 3000.Now when i saw my balance it shows that the 3000 more was deducted from from ATM 3465 even though the transaction was declined.I have the Mini Statement which is showing the transaction but there was a System Error.

              Hi Sir/Madam,

              On 12/02/2010 at 8:25 AM, I used the Indian Oversease Bank's ATM at Shalimar Grarden Sahibabad Ghazibad. Being an Canara Bank customer , I had inserted Canara's Bank ATM Card & made the query for Withdrawl of money. Suddenly , I saw the Due to electricity failure i didn't receive my cash (Rs 3000/-) from ATM, but the amount got less .from my A/c. I felt helpless as there was no security guard positioned outside the ATM to assist me . I called the Customer care of Canra Bank & Indian Oversease Bank, But I don't get any response from them.
              I also gave to a written complaint to Canara Bank, But they didn't take any action on my complaint.
              So, please understand my problem and take a hardly action.

              I have a savings Account bearing number 35129 with nanganallur branch. I was out of India since August 2009. Now presently I am staying with my parents at Coimbatore. I wanted to withdraw money from ATM. I tried ATMs of SBI, ICICI and HDFC. The slip mentioned that they are unable to process the request.
              Today I rangup the nanganallur branch at around 9.40 am, but the phone cut off and no response on subsequent calls.

                  Sub : Complaint regarding non-redressal of very very simple issue, for more than 3 months.


                  I am Ex.Exployee of Canara Bank and family pensioner too. I have a SB A/c in Canara Bank, Guindy (Chennai) Branch, in which my pension is deposited every month. This branch is about 20 kms away from my residence.

                  At present, I am 82 years old, about a year ago, I have undergone an operation in my hip area and hence I am unable to frequently travel for long distances and awkward step ups. Hence, I have decided to draw my monthly pension from the nearest Canara Bank Branch as Core Sector facility has been introduced.

                  When I approached the nearest Branch to withdraw my pension, I understand that my “Life Certificate” is not yet updated in Guindy Branch’s PC (in my account) and hence I can not withdraw my pension anywhere except Guindy Branch. However, my Life Certificate has been duly submitted to the Guindy Branch personnel three months ago, on time.

                  I have expressed my difficulty and inability to visit Guindy branch, considering my age, present health condition, etc., and I wish to draw from any Canara Bank’s nearest Branch to my residence.

                  Even though several attempts have been made to remove the remark “LIFE CERTIFICATE NOT SUBMITTED” from computer, the concerned personnel & Manager are not taking any steps regarding this. They are totally disinterested and their fingers are indicating towards each other themselves to do the job.

                  As you are aware, India plays a very vital role in IT Sector and technologies are improved well, the very simple matter is not yet resolved.

                  I have following valuable clarifications with me as :

                   Due to disinterest / incapable of respective personnel of Guindy branch, am I to be punished by walking everyday in this age ?
                   Whether the respective employees will be motivated at least to solve this problem in the near future ?
                   The time loss, money loss and pain will be borne by whom ?
                   How long I have to continuously follow this matter with these disinterest / incapable personnel ?
                   When will this issue come to an end ? after my death ?????
                   The respective personnel says to lodge complaint regarding their disinterest on this matter, to higher authority / anywhere and none can do him anything. What does it mean ? Where is discipline ? Will all the customers be treated such a worst manner ?
                   If above indiscipline is there means, what is the meaning of Grievance Redressal Authorities & Higher Officials ? Will Grievance Cell is a believable one ? Will such behaviour / attitude is an acceptable in Private Sectors ?
                   As an Ex.Employee, I have been facing such harassment & injustice, then what is the meaning of saying Customer Satisfaction & Core Sector Banking ?
                   Whether this issue will be solved through legal measures / publishing in medias only ?
                   As the concerned personnel are not showing interest to solve this very very very simplest matter means who will solve this ?
                   Does such employees expect that we / customer have to sit and do their job in the Branch ?
                   Is this matter is not an ashamed one ?

                  If this issue is not resolved as early as possible, there is no other way except approaching through legal means and medias.

                  CANARA BANK, NANGANALLUR — nON RECEIPT OF ATM CARD, LESSER AMOUNT CREDITED AS INTEREST ON FDS

                  Sir,

                  We (B.V.NATESAN, B.V.SRINIVASAN, B.V.SUDHA SRINIVASAN) have an SB A/C 29976 at Canara Bank, Nanganallur. Since, old ATM card is not operatable under the new system of the bank, we have applied for a new ATM Card one year before. But we have not received the same so far. We have approched the bank Sr.Manager, Managers and officers many times and they are showing their fingers to each other, hence the desired result is not reached.. But till date we have not received the ATM Card. We have submitted one more application for ATM Card on 06.09.08. For that also no response. The abovesaid bank authorities are not contacting the ATM Card issuing authorities Bangalore for finding an immediate solution. We are the suffers for the past one year without ATM Card to operate the account while purchasing, or even to pay money to the hospital on emergency. There are transaction in lakhs on the above said SB A/C and we find it very difficult to operate the account in the absence of ATM Card. Hence, the opinion falls on he mind of the customer whether to hold the account in the bank. You are therefore requested to take necessary action to issue the ATM Card at an early date.

                  I am an account holder in Nanganallur Canara Bank from 1974 onwards and in my family everybody
                  has a savings account. (myself, my mother, my wife, my daughter and my father who is no more and still that account is operated by my mother and my wife).

                  My Account No is 4033 and my name is J Viswanathan, my mother's account no is 1626 Mrs J Radha,
                  my father's account no is 23518 Late Mr M V Jayaraman, and this account is operated by my mohter and my wife - Mrs J Radha and Mrs V Rajalakshmi. My Wife's account no is 22179 - Mrs V Rajalakshmi and my daughter's account No is 33907 - Ms V Hasini.

                  You should be observing that all these accounts has been a very very old account, and we had good
                  relation ship with all the previous branch staff. We know this particular branch for the past 30 years when we stepped into Nanganallur, and the old officers were kind enough to us and the courtesy was good.

                  Today the service is very worst and the behaivour of the personnel is very very bad, and the branch staff are informing us, if you want to continue your account, continue, or otherwise close it, the service will be like this only. How dare a branch official informs this.

                  Today my daughter has approached the bank for entry of the pass book, she has been scolded by one of the branch staff, and she had come crying to the house, and again my wife has gone to the branch, and then also they have repeated the same thing. I dont know how the relevant branch staff can behave rude with female account holders.

                  I would request you to kindly check up the same with the particular branch and the manager, and get me a letter in reply, or otherwise I am not all willing to continue the following accounts with you, we will close the same immediately and inform the matter to Reserve Bank of India.

                  I hope that my mail will receive the attention of the concerned branch manager, and give me a reply at the earliest.

                  its been very pathetic and sad to say that such a reputed so called CANARA BANK, has still not been able to resolve a simple and small issue of credit back of Rs. 4000.00 debited to my account in the process of AMOUNT NOT DISPENSED at ATM.

                  Of course i withdrew it from CORPORATION BANK ATM, using my canara bank debit card. This so happened on 23rd febuary, 2011. Would it take such a long time for a bank to reverse this amount.

                  Has any of the Employees, empathized the my plight of running around several times to the Branch at Kalidasa Layout Bangalore.

                  Today when i called the bank, all that i get as an answer is your application is filed, have not received any approval from HO. What nonsense is this ?? ( sorry for my language) In case i hurt you, realise REALITY HAS STRUCK you and your so called esteemed Banking Organisation.

                  Its high time you take necessary action in not ony solving my issue but in resolution of the whole system for a smoother banking, and happier customer content.

                  In line to above complaints, I would like to add in that Shri Deepak Saxsena, Branch Manager of Canara Bank, Zero Road, Allahabad (U.P) has clearly given his view that as a Branch Manager his services is only and only for VVVIPs or for the customers who can bribe him. For a very small service request he get very diplomatic and has a one line statement " i cannot do anything" ” do what u can do”. The situation is worse when senior citizen of his fatherly age approach him. Understanding the physical limitations of the citizens he shows the way outside his chamber. To add he is the only branch manager who never bothers to look into the genie of the individual and enjoys the AC of the chamber. Not disclosing the matter is one of the fear that I am not disclosing the problem being faced by my family ( all are holding account in the bank) as it is very much likely that he might roughen my plea.                   I am very sorry to communicate that my grievance with regard to incorrect calculation of family pension has not yet been addressed. However, I am reproducing the facts below:

                  “My husband Late SH. SRI KRISHAN SHARMA was a Central Govt. employee and had been drawing pension from your Bank ( Branch-Najafgarh, New Delhi-10043) after his retirement on 31.05.2006. Unfortunately, he passed away on 15.11.2010. Being spouse of the pensioner, I started getting family pension at enhanced rates as mentioned in the revised P.P.O. dated 15.01.2010 . The family pension at enhanced rate is entitled to me till 14.05.2013 and thereafter I am eligible to get family pension at normal rate till death/remarriage.

                  In the above context, I got family pension at enhanced rate as per revised P.P.O. till January 2012. From the month of February, 2012, my S.B. A/c is credited with amount of family pension at enhanced rate which is calculated on the basis of pension rates mentioned in the pre-revised P.P.O. (Old P.P.O. dated 28.06.2006). “

                  The action is still awaited despite my written request and repeated visits to your bank. You are, again requested to kindly look into the matter and restore my family pension at enhanced rates as per revised P.P.O. with the amount of arrear of family pension.

                      The quality of banking service provided by canara bank is on the decline. I have an account in Air Force Station Lohagaon, Pune branch. Most of the time the ATM does not work, if it is working there are no papers for printing of recipts. Now a days they have come down to misbehaving with the customers as well. Just because there are no other banks nearby, they think they are doing a favour on people by providing them banking services. They really misbehave with the customers and speak to them very rudely.

                      This is very true, the banking service provided by Canara Bank is very pathetic.. and moreover the staff attitude is a let go attitude, not interested in customer service. They feel they are doing a big favour on us. I had a bad experience with the manager of Canara Bank Mahim office, where we were submitting the Netbanking Form, he was rude and was not interested in giving proper service or advice.. i had submitted the request almost 6-8 months back, till date no revert from the bank.. wht kind of service they provide is miserable.. i think staff attitude cannot be changed then the staff should be changed instead..atleast to maintain some quality service

                      In fact i find it better to deal with other banks than this bank...

                      i m the canara bank customer since more then 9 years and serving in kendriya vidyalaya, the salary of the whole staff is officially deposited with canara bank, rajendra nagar branch, Bareilly(u.p). the said was deposited with the bank on 2nd of April 2009 . When i visited the ATM to withdraw the amount from the card failed to respond, when contacted the manager telephonically the lady on line at phone number...[protected] on 4-4-09at 11.11 am she felt sorry for being late in the business and the same time promised that the money can be withdrawn from atm after 2.00 pm the same day.
                      Unfortunately the staff of kendriya vidyalaya could withdraw the salary on[protected].
                      This could be due to negligence or any thing else, u r to decide but such delay had never been observed earlier before.
                      u r requested to make the staff of canara bank, rajendra nagar branch, bareilly more cooperative and helpful to the customers. thanking

                      Canara Bank — Bank Staff does not cope up with coustemers

                      I am the account holder of Canara bank Mumbra (Branch) since last 3 years they dont talk properly with coustemer specially in Mumbra Branche i dont know about rest other branches how they treat with coustemers i can say an earthworm is must faster then the employees and the system of CANARA BANK..others also have the problem but they dont know about this site ......

                      I have an A/C in CANARA BANK in one of your branches in MUMBRA from last 2.5 year & have been facing problems with EMPLOYEES & BRANCH MANAGER.

                      They don`t have manners to speak to the account holder's & behave very very very very badly with them.

                      I am not at all able to understand whether are they sitting there to work or just to take salary for free?????????????

                      I have deposited a cheque in my account on 09/01/2012, i.e. on this monday. My cheque was depoisted in the 1st clearing itself but still the cheque is not yet credited to my account. I have also given a written application to the branch to close down my account. I am not at all interested in such a THIRD GRADE & USELESS SERVICE provided by your bank branch staff.

                      People like me think that we would be treated well & properly in nationalised bank's as compared to that of private bank's, but I have been proved completely wrong by your MUMBRA branch employees including the branch manager. It would have been better if I would have opened an account on any of the private bank's like HDFC or ICICI bank. Government BANK's like that of yours is completely useless & have no respect for their valuable customer's, i.e. account holder's like myself & 7 to 8 other family members of mine who by mistakely opened their account of my word in your useless bank.

                      I HAVE NOW DECIDED THAT I SHALL GET ALL THE REST OF 7-8 ACCOUNTS CLOSED ALONG WITH THAT OF MINE FOR WHICH I HAVE ALREADY GIVEN A WRITTEN APPLICATION. I SHALL ALSO SEE TO IT THAT ALL MY FRIENDS CLOSE DOWN THEIR ACCOUNTS TOO WHO GOT TRAPPED IN THE MISCONCEPTION OF GETTING GOOD & TIMELY SERVICES @ GOVERNMENT BANKS.

                        sir,
                        I am Mrs. Naline Inbaraj i am having sb a/c with canara bank tondiarpet branch and my a/c no is 22707. my husband met with an accident on 20Th July and admitted to Apollo hospital with head injury. To meet the medical expenses i requested all my relatives to contribute their mite to save my husband's life. In such case one of my aunt from Bangalore had sent draft through standard charted bank, Bangalore in the month of august.The canara bank authorities have not credited the amount so far. I met almost all the authorities of the branch for the past 4 months. i have sent my grievance to the grievance cell- canara bank also but no one had the good heart to help me. since my husband is bed-ridden i spent a lot of money every month for his medical requirements. This lethargic attitude of the bank authorities has created a mental agony and a fear that i may not able to receive my money which is necessary for my husbands medical expenses.

                        The bank draft No. 035739 for Rs.20000/- was sent from Standard Chartered Bank, Bangalore by Nalini Narayan, Relationship Manager in Bangalore.

                        2. The draft was sent on 26 Aug 2008.

                        3. It was received by Canara Bank, Thondiarpet on 27th August 2008 with the Bank seal.

                        4. It was sent by Blue Dart Courier service vide consignment note no. [protected].
                        .
                        5. Pay Order was issued by Bangalore Bank and on 16th Aug 2008 and the amount was paid to the account of Nalini Inbaraj, A/c No.22707 at Canara Bank.

                        Hence i request your good selves to kindly look into the matter and get me a compensation of Rs. 2.5 lacs for their negligence and lethargic attitude.

                        I would like to bring to your kind notice this is not the first occasion that i had this bitter experience with this branch, one of my cousin, in the month of may had the same experience with the same branch. the amount was nearly 95000/- and was suppose to save the life of her brother. Then myself and my cousin approached the banking authorities and after 45 days the amount was credited to her account, and in my case nearly 4 months gone all my efforts are going in vain

                        Hello Sir/Madam,

                        I am Sushil Kumar. I have canara bank account in hathras (UP) Branch and account no is[protected]. I have canara debit card and card no is [protected]. Yesterday(01-June-2009) I tried to withdraw 10, 000 /--10, 000 /- Rs two times from icici bank ATM sector-60 Noida but due to some problem ATM did not release money and show error on ATM screen but 20, 000 /- Rs has been deducted from my account.


                        Please resolve the issue and transfer my money (20, 000 Rs) in my account[protected].

                          Dear Sir
                          I deposited a bankers chq of State Bank Of India, Sodepur Branch, Kolkata Rs 58, 862.00 in my a/c with Canara Bank, Murbad Branch Kalyan, Mumbai on 19/04/08 . Attached copy of complaint letter addressed to Canara bank . Canara bank neither credited the amount to my a/c. On my repeated call and many letters I failed to get any reply .

                            I received my pension payment order on 24 nov 08 but till date the bank has not started paying me .The branch where I have a/c says that it has received no intimation in this regard . Today I got to know from the a/c section at the main branch that they had despatched my PPO on 25 nov 08 . It was collected by a branch employee. I fail to understand as to why Iam repeatedly told by the branch that they have not received my PPO.This has caused unnecessary delay in pensionary benefits .My a/c is with the Ramwadi branch in Pune .

                            I am a retired central goverment pensioner having my A/c with canara bank Pallavaram Branch and I have received the order from Centreal PPO Newdelhi on 23 March 09 revicing my Pension &diference in commutation value &DCRG due to 6th Pay commision recomendation.Till today(21/4/09) it has not been Paid to me by the Bank inspite of clear orders from the Govt.When enquried they express their inability due to shortage of hands and they dosent know such an order received at their end or not.Inturn When Contacted the A/ c section in Head office, they said the copy of the order already sent to the branch.I am sill in doubt when I will get the amount due to me which runs into a huge amount. Action May Immediatly taken to pay theamount due to me.

                            I am complaining on behalf of my mother smt. Promila Chhibber, wife of late shri Inder Sain Chhibber as she is not getting her family pension which she is entitled . My father died on 30 march 2006 and he was receiving his pension from canara bank, janak puri branch but after his death till date no family pension has been given to my mother . Though I protested no. of times and gave written request to bank manager but all my efforts failed till date there is no response .I hope authority will look into the matter and dop justice to my old age mother, as she badly needs money for medication and lively hood .
                            Please mail me death claim form urgently.My father has account in canara bank -panaji branch of A/Cno-30456.
                            my father had an s b a/c from the yr 1959 in canara bank without any complaint till and he introduced not less than 200 to 300 illiterate people to open a/cs in banks in those days. we all the family members have s b a/c in the same bank since years. but it is very disheartening to note that, on sudden demise of my father, we, all the children requested the bank to kindly deposit the entire amount on my mothers name who holds a/c in the same bank, and non o[censored]s wanted any share from my father, but the bank inspite of fulfilling all the formalities is harassing us on one way or the other and just delaying the matter. we had two witnesses from the bank itself, one staff of the bank and the other doctor since 50 years, a a/c hiolder of the same bank. now after many days the bank is insisting upon six witnesses from the bank, kinly advise or i will file a complaint against the bank in rti as well as in court. and will close all our family members a/cs from the said bank. nowadays banks don't respect their customers.

                              Hi,

                              I have applied for fixed deposit on friday 28.11.2008 in canara bank branch anishabad, patna. I had asked for FD interest rate for 2 years on 28.11.2008 and staff member told me that 10.5% for 2 years. But, when i received the FD paper it was mentioned the date of FD 03.12.2008 with change of interest rate 10% for 2 years from 01.12.2008. Can you please guide me to file complaint against this bank?

                                I am doing withdrawals by ATM Debit Card.and the withdrawals made on 28th june 2008 for Rs.1722/- (Rupees one thousand seven hundred and twenty two only) Transacion No.ATM[protected]withdrawal No. 10828761. Instead of debiting once it entered twice by no. 10829019.
                                The same complaint was raised before the branch no necessary action has been taken till date.
                                So I humbly request you to go through the matter and take the necessary action at the earliest.

                                    the canara bank at davangere, pj extension branch is deprived of work force. whenever i go to the bank they are hardly 4 to 5 employees in the bank. and if we question the employees along with the manager are giving some irresponsible answers. they r saying that the employees are on leave for 15 to 20 days. and ask the customers to come after 15 to 20 days. no service. leave about service no proper response atleast. i dont know if its the condition of such high profile nationalized banks, where the customers have to go.

                                    i request the concerned to take suitable actions if at all it matters in this country.

                                    Previously, I also had an experience of the same sort. Canara bank has expanded business in
                                    multitudes of crores but never expanded their workforce. They have no replacement for retirees and transfers. If you look at their service, it is deteriorating due to staff shortage - and the management never recruits young people( while qualified, energetic & capable young men are looking for jobs!).
                                    Branches with 60 people about 8 yrs ago are today with 20 people today- while Deposits and loans and custoomers have grown 10 times. All in the name of computerisation .


                                    Another starnge thing, they dont give customers the chance to interact in their own language. They put Telugu people in Tamilnadu, tamil people in Delhi, Biharis in Ahmedabad and Kerala people in Bihar- as if you dont have any choice. These staff suffers due to home sickness and related problems and customers find it difficult to intract effectively.

                                    I dont know why !!! May be They r experimenting with a new HR technique.

                                    Only way to shut up these is to switch to another Bank. Slowly, the foolish management will understand. I hope so.(Otherwise hold a Dharna in their Head office, but who has the time these days?).

                                      I HAVE MADE A CASH WITHDRAWAL OF RS6000.00 ON DATED 29.03.2006 AT 8.59 AM FROM ATM OF CANARA BANK, RAMGHAT ROAD, ALIGARH.
