Caravan Packers N Movers — Delay in Delivery and Very Rude Behaviour of Staff
We had booked our house hold items on 31st May 2009 on a promised delivery on 4th June, 2009. Despite of hundreds of calls to loads of people the response has been pathetic. I have already suffered a loss of more than 20000 thousand due to that. Apart from the bad services the behaviour of the staff has been shocking especially that of John who is marketing person and Ashok Goyal who is taking care of Logistics. I am amazed that there is no way to punish them for their stupid reactions to the proble of their client. Caravan Packers N Movers is a nonsence organisation and cheating the customers always.We are in trouble as we paid 65, 000 rupees to transport the donated old office goods from Delhi to Dhenkanal Orissa a month ago and until now they are not sending the goods.Every day we are in contact with them and getting false promises.Finally we decided to book one consumer case as we have all legal documents and their personal undertaking and booking one police case under section IPC 420 as they have taken money and not transported the goods with malafied intention to cheating us.My organisation is a charity and dealing with consumers case.We got some fund to make country wide advertisement about Caravan Packers as cheated organisation and people should aware about this before decide to deal with them.
Since we have paid money in Orissa, we are going to book both the cases in orissa in next monday if we do not get our goods by this time

Caravan Packers and Movers — Goods damaged
Hi,I have shifted my goods from Pune to Hyderabad through some packers & movers (Caravan) they did lot of damage, unfortunately I didn't do any insurance of goods. but I am asking to them that during unloading they did damage and didn't care of my goods so they have to pay of all damage , they reply we don't responsible for that.
Can i charge a case against them in consumer court.

Yes Plz avoid CARAVAN PACKERS and MOVERS. Big time cheater and fraud company.
I had booked to pack and move my household items from Hyd to Cochin via consignment # 009650 dt. 30/5/2010 with Caravan Packers and Movers, Hyd. I had accepted their offer for Rs. 14, 000. After the items were loaded into the vehicle they demanded another Rs 12, 000 as there were few extra items and refused to move the vehicle from Hyd. After paying 26, 000 I had to go thru hell a lot of follow-ups until my items reached my house after a delay of 4 days. Atlast when the goods reached, most of the costly items were in damaged condition. When I demanded insurance documents for which I had paid them, infact they had not taken the insurance too.
PLZ DONT FALL PREY TO THESE FRAUDULENT COMPANIES AFTER CHECKING THEIR WEBSITES (CLAIMING ISO 9001). LETS COME TOGETHER AND FILE A STRONG COMPLAINT AGAINST ALL THESE COMPANIES TO THE CONSUMER COORDINATION COUNCIL

Moreover I received the following items in a damaged condition
TV frame cracked
Marble temple legs broken
Sofa legs broken
Bed part bent
Computer's SMPS damaged due to mishandling
One of the cartons containin my bags totally damaged and my bags torn
Inspite of having paid for insurance now Caravan Packers is making me literally beg for clearing the claim for the damages done by them.
