[Resolved]  Central Cargo Packers And Movers — Cheated by CENTRAL CARGO PACKERS AND MOVERS

Would like to bring to your notice & caution you all against the existence of a fradulent, corrupt movers and packers company by the name of- CENTRAL CARGO PACKERS AND MOVERS I wanted to Shift from Mumbai to Bangalore and i approached CENTRAL CARGO PACKERS AND MOVERS since they were ISO certified. The Mumbai incharge Ajay Sharma gave a quotation and also a CD which showed how they would be making their packing. Since i haven't never seen any packers before i fell it. It was agreed that the Packing would happen on 25-Dec-2008 (Thursday) to the goods would be delivered on 28-Dec-2008 (Sunday).

On 25-Dec-2008 when the people came for packing at 11.30 AM (the promised time was 10.00 AM) they came with totally 10 cartains to pack a entire house. I was totally amused by this when i asked they said that it would be enough. Later as the day progressed they realised that they would require atleast 30 more and it delayed the process. The way the packing was done was pathetic and the packers had no respect to elderly people. The entire day i had to fight with them and it was very exhaustive. Then came the next surprise, they had acquired a small tempo travel to take the household items. I was furious and blasted the prople. Later after an hour they arranged for a bigger container. Some how they managed to get the items loaded by 5.30 PM.

I complained to the Mumbai Manager/Incharge Ajay Sharma about the service and the behaviour of his people, to which he said that he will ask his workers to apologies. But no such thing happened.

Keeping my hopes on these people i left to Bangalore. Until saturday (27-Dec-2008) evening i didnt get any call about the status, so i called up the Bangalore incharge Mr. Sunil Sharma whom i was asked to call, his irresponsible response was that he doesn't have a update. So i had to call up Ajay Sharma again who directed me to Mr. Vijay Nair (Head of Transport Incharge), he told me that the vichele had some problem and the goods would reach only on Monday. He said that he would be updating about the status on Sunday evening. I was little worried but then too i made up my mind and waited for their update.

Until Sunday (28-Dec-2008) 8 pm i didnt get any call. So i called the Mr. Vijay Nair, who didnt respond to me. I started panicing. Then on monday(29-Dec-2008) i kept repeatedly calling up these people, but they didnt respond.

Finally Mr. Vijay spoke and told me that there too many checking happening in the vicheles that are coming from mumbai due to the terriosit attack. I said " thats all fine, why isn't this communicated to me until i made the call, why do i have to call you everytime" The simple response was " it is your goods so you have to follow up " I was taken a back by this comment, i got hyper and started shouting at them and said that if this is the service that you are providing then you will lose on your business. The reponse to that from Mr. Vijay Nair was, if business goes then we will close the company and start something new. My jaws dropped to the feet. I didnt know what to say after this response. I hung up the call.

That evening Mr. Sunil Sharma, called up and said that good would reach by Max tuesday (30-Dec-2008) 12 Pm. Going by that i waited for it on tuesday, the clock kept ticking but the good didnt come until 5. I kept calling Mr.Ajay, Vijay, Sunil. None of them responded. When ever i called them in their mobile, somebody would pick up and say they have gone to delhi/busy in a meeting/he has not come to office.
I was totally irritated. So i asked one of my friend to call them from a different number. At that time Mr.Ajay, Vijay, Sunil picked up the call and spoke. I didnt know why these people were playing.

My goods finally came on wednesday(31-Dec-2008) at 4.30 PM. I had paid 2500 extra for unpacking as i had a elderly mom and granny, but i was taken a pack when the workers refused to unpack. This was clearly mentioned in the Quotation. I called up Mr. Sunil who said that they cant do the unpacking and i can do whatever i want. I spent 3 days to do the unpacking. I felt totally cheated by these people.

Finally the big surprise, my Sofa come bed was missing which costs around 6000. The people told me that it might have got loaded on to a delhi container. I was informed that i will updated about this, but till date no response. So i called up today (17-Jan-2008) Mr. Sunil and to that his response was that he would pay Rs. 500 has compensation as he doesn't have an update on where the item is.

I was mentally so exhuasted by this experience. I had to take 10 days holiday from office bcos of this.

CENTRAL CARGO PACKERS AND MOVERS are cheaters, irresponsible, no customer services, bad quality in service and over all they dont know to respect their customer.

I dont know whether this forum would help me in anyways, but i hope someone else whould be saved by seeing my aweful experience and would not opt for CENTRAL CARGO PACKERS AND MOVERS.

I completely agree with Mr swaminathan, the same person mr ajay sharma completely cheated me during my move from noida to bangalore, they are extortinists and goondas, and i would do anything in my power to bring them to book. The people they employ are goons and strict legal measure should be taken to bring them to book. I had paid comprehensive insurance to them and got no paperwork from them, the damage caused to my goods is well in the excess of Rs 50000/- an di have no idea how i would go abut recovering it from them, please help out.

I had this central cargo moved my household from Gurgaon to Hyderbad this month and there were 15-16 items damaged including Microwave, Washing m/c, Symphony cooler, dining table etc. I am chasing these guys (Anil, Sunil, Ajay, Vijay etc.) for last one week to get the insurance policy and insurance survey done. But till today, they just keep promising but no action.
Please suggest what to do?
