[Resolved] Century Packers and Movers — Damaged goods and Unprofessional bheavaiour | |
I hired Century Packers and Movers, Nigdi to transport my household goods from Pune to Bangalore. When I received the goods I was shocked to see it damaged. My new cupboard had scratched all over the body and dents at several places and the mattress was torn. He had removed all the packing and then repacked everything in a haphazard way while loading. Thats when the damage was caused. When I complained the person from the company refused to accept my complaint. And started abusing me in the filthiest of language that you here only from road side goons. He threatened me that the 3 drivers who brought brought the goods will ruin my house and make a big tamasha to humiliate me in the locality. I could hardly believe he was the same elderly person who pretended to be a father figure while doing the assessment of the goods before I hired him. He was a sweet talking person who boasted of his experience in this industry only to reveal his true colors. They were highly unprofessional. I would not recommend Century packers and movers to anyone. It was the worst experience of my life. I have already lodged the complaint with Just dial though which I got his contact. Even I faced a similar issue with Century Packers. I have written several reviews with Just Dial Pune, but it is rejected for no reason. I heard Just dial is getting paid Rs.1 Lakhs which is why they recommend them. The owner jagdish is highly unprofessional

I have taken Century Packers and Movers details from justdia.com to transfer my bike from pune to kolkata along with my tata sky and some goods. They promised me to delver in my home address(door to door). But instead of that they dropped my belongings in "bon hogli" which is almost 22 km from my house. which cost me 1200 rs to take those thing to my house. I asked then lots of time to make it in my home but they didn't. my bike is also damaged in verious portion. bikes original sticker was not there. handle is dent. right side body and leg guard is scratched a lot. I talked with Amit for the same but it help me nothing. more over my bike key is not transported. its still in pune. all in all it cost me arrond 3000. Now I would like to know who should take this? and it gave a lot mental pain.

The worst experience possible. I used Just dial to search for packers and movers and I found Century.
They took my stuff from pune on a sunday, telling me it will be delivered by tuesday morning, tuesday became thursday, friday, saturday and ultimately sunday evening.
To add to the whole bad experince, To my horrer there was stuff missing from my shipment, I had to travel all over bangalore to trace my missing things, I refused to pay them the balance amount, and they suddenly started threatening me, tell me police cannot touch us etc. etc... truly bad service, and I hold Just dial also responsible for my sad story..

I shifted my 2 bhk home setup and my 2 vehicle from bangalore to jamshedpur on 7th jan 2022, they [censored]ed but my bike's head light and few of the items delivered broken, they have charged me for the insurance and given reliance general insurance.
When i claimed just my bike repairing cost it was never settled, even after multiple follow ups.
So only thing i understood was if the items get delivered to destination in ok condition than its good, else century will not take any responsibility of your belongings even after making you to take insurance.
Insurance is just for namesake and to abide by rule, so century is least bothered for damaged and missing items.
Later they stoped answering my call as well.
