[Resolved] CESC Ltd — Meter Box is broken | |
Regarding the Consumer Number: [protected] I lodged a complain 2 weeks ago (appx) at the CESC . I wrote the complain as: “Meter box jutted out from the wall. Meter condition is horrible (about to break). Please come & repair this. Thank you.” For this complain I got a Docket Number : LT/41/19046 As I was not getting any response from CESC so I lodge the same complain again on 29/06/2009. I wrote the complain as: “With reference to the above mentioned complaint number I beg to inform you that no such action has been taken till date from your side. Meter box & meter condition are horrible. These are about to break. If there is any mishap at my home then no is responsible except CESE. Thanking you. Expecting your early reply.” For this complain I got another Docket Number : LT/41/20082. On 30/06/2009 they called me over phone & assured me that they solve the problem on that day. But again no CESC mechanic came at home. In these circumstances I can’t call any local mechanic. I have to depend upon CESC Ltd. At this situation please assist me what do I do? My Meter box for the last three month is not working.I had mentioned the same to your representative who comes to read meter every month regarding this and I was told that they have reported the same to to your office but there is no response.
Hence I would like your goodself to please replace the same so that I can get the right bill and pay the same . I again request you to look into the matter on an urgent basis.

This is my request to please replace the meter box and fix it on the wall slightly on the higher position than the existing position in order to avoid rain water sometimes spreading on the meter box. and also want to change the wire.please take note of same and do the same.

Sir, With due respect it is stated that myself made complain about, from my main switch to meter box supply line leakage and sparking Doc No [protected] dt 21.08.2018 Your representative came and disconnected the supply line and declared this is not their job please hire a civil electrician and connect the line with a new wire and leave the live line without tape and left. Even the supply box which he broken to disconnect the shorting wire leave without seal. Still that date my house is without power supply. No hire electrician is ready to connect the line because for this required to broken the seal of the meter box which they are not authorized. Please advise me what will be the further step. No out standing electricity bill is pending for payment.
