From Last Few months we are facing a Power Problem (Fase Off). We calready Complaints daily but no solution given by CEST Team / Engineers.

LOW VOLTAGE

SIR,
WITH DUE RESPECT I HAVE THE HONOUR TO SUBMIT THAT WE THE INHABITANTS OF 46/9 BROJO NATH LAHIRI LANE, SANTRAGACHI, HOWRAH, PIN 711104 ARE VERY MUCH IN TROUBLE FOR SUPPLY OF LOW VOLTAGE SPECIALLY AT NIGHT AND IT IS TOO DEFICULT TO SLEEP AT NIGHT. I HAVE LODGED VARIOUS COMPLAINTS BEFORE THE HEAD OFFICE OF THE AFORESAID COMPANY.BUT TO NO GOOD.
THE ELECTRONIC GADGETS OF MY HOUSE ARE ALSO BEING DAMAGED FOR SUPPLY OF LOW VOLTAGE....

POWER SHORTAGE for more than 72 hrs

Hello.

After the recent cyclone AILA, we all know that theres acute power shortage accross the city...but in my locality which is SATGRAM HOUSING, near Behala Bakultala...there is power at everyone's place, excepting a phase including our home.

Now, we have tried to call the much advertised helpline of CESC, 1912, a call center run by IBM DAKSH, at Rajarhat DLF Building..by the name of BIJLI. Now they have...

increase in bill amount after reducing the consumption

suddenly increase bill amount more than double
my consumer no-[protected], as per your records my consumption units in month of feburary is 64 units and suddenly it increase in month of march 151 units, and after seeing that consumptions i reduce my consumption but again in month of april consumption units shows 173 units.So plz i am not understanding the reason of increasing the units of consumptions, i am living in a rented house,...

This is to inform u that we are facing a critical situation from Yesterday morning (5.00 A.M.) Due to power cut. We have a heart patient in our house whose condition is very critical due to long power cut. We complain several times in your customer service. not verify the reading previous and present reading

my consumer no-[protected], reading date 11/05/09, Domestic unit consum is -0, you are swaing previous reading is 3279 and present reading is same 3279 and unit is 0 .but originaly to day reading is 3770 on 22/05/09.I hope you send without reading that meains next month reading will come very mutch more and rate table will high slab.so you are requiested please rectify the bill according to reading and oblige to avoid the high slab.

Non payment of interest for deposit in CARS a/c

For easy payment of monthly bill sent by CESC I opened CRES a/c with them and replenish it with fresh deposits.
In last October 2008 I made a deposit of Rs 10K by cheque on local bank which was debited next day in my account. Surprisingly, in the quarterly statement sent from TCS on behalf of CESC, they gave credit of the said amount after 6 days depriving of interest.
The matter was brought to the notice of CESC and TCS authorities...

New Connection

Dear Sir,
I applied for new connection on 6.2.09, reference no 14/[protected], but after the inspection is over by the Calcutta Electric Supply Team, inspite of having sufficient space, i got a letter that it is not possible to provide connection as there are no sufficient space in my flat . Now i am chasing them for the last one month . Can you please help me in this regard.

As per your represntative come to my office, and request me for fill up the corporate card which you start recently.after few days i ve got a sms ref no 1737331 through my cell phone on 20 01 2009, that you aconolaged my application, but still to day i ve 'nt recive any msg from your bank .

High electricity bill

Since last 3 months I am receiving very high electricity bill from CESC Kolkata.Actually we are using 2 fans & 2 Tube lights but the Electic bills are coming above 700/month which is very much high than what it should be.
I have a doubt in my mind that either Electric Metre is not working properly or someone is doing Electric theft from our metre as we are unable to check what exactly happening because the metres are locked in...

Earning large amount thru' emergency connections

I request authorities to inquire whether CESC is purposely delaying permanent connections to customers and earning high amount of money thru' temporary connections. In Narendrapur area in Kolkata, they connect emergency connection within one day or two but go on collecting Rs1000+ per week, and it continues renewing for more than 3- 4weeks to charge high amount in the name of temporary connection.
