[Resolved] CIBIL — Wrong Credit Report
Dear Sir, About three months back out of curiosity I checked my credit rating with CIBIL by paying the necessary fees. But I got shock of my life when I received the report. I found out that an outstanding loan amount is written against my name which I have settled a year back with Deutsche Bank. Despite sending all the evidence and an assurance that things will be sorted out in 30 days time, nothing has happened so far. I have sent three reminders to CIBIL but to no avail. I think we have got yet another inefficient and callous organisation like many other we have in our lovely country. Regards A.M.Gupta. Was this information helpful?

Dear Mr. Gupta,
In this connection i would suggest you to speak to your credit grantor [ Deutche Bank ] for the correct updation of your loan account details with CIBIL authorities. You may write to Manoj Naik on head.[protected]@db.com. Subsequently CIBIL will update your credit records accordingly.
You should note that CIBIL is a neutral service provider and the reports are purely based on data reported by its members [ Bank, Financial Institutions ]. The decision to approve or decline an application is entirely on the Banks discretion.
You may feel free to write me on [protected]@indianconsultantgroup.com for any further assistance if required.
Warm Regards

I have applied for Housing Loan for the first time in my life from HDFC and came to know that there are already 3 Housing Loans in my name. I asked them for details so that i can take up the matter. Response is also very poor from CIBIL. The govt./regulators must ensure data quality of CIBIL immediately otherwise the Loan seekers will be tortured in the name of CIBIL by Banks.
