[Resolved]  Cinemax — AWKWARD POLICY IN CANCELLATION OF BOOKED TICKETS

I booked a ticket for a show for 12 p.m with cinemax online in a transaction(232778) on 09th Jan 2010 at hyderabad cinemax. There is a processing time lag while getting the confirmation and i tried with another transaction for another movie for 10 am (232835) which got confirmed first,Then i got the former confimed as well. Now immediatly i posted a mail for cancellation of the first transaction as i can't watch both the movies at the same time ( I guess!) even i couldn't reach the customer care numbers both in mumbai and hyderabad. After 24 hours of my request for cancellation, i get a vague response that they cannot cancel the tickets. It is so painful that even i tried to cancel the same by enquiring at the counter, who are not supportive at all.

I need the refund of my first transaction which i am not able to get any sort of response from cinemax.

Cinemax — Wrong practice by the staff

I went for a movie today and the staff from the counter told me to take some tickets lying with him and dint give me a fresh set of tickets, for the night show. The other staff came along with me and made me sit for the movie. But the tickets was of some other movie and some other show which simply means that the counter person was making money out of the old tickets.
i reached today morning at 7.40am to cinemax andheri west infinity mall for the 8am show of chalo delhi.nobody was there from the cinemax staff. we were 8to10 people waiting for the person to come and issue us the tickets for the show.at 8.20 a person came and told us that all the morning shows of 8am are cancelled from monday onwards. there was no information regarding this in news paper as wellin the theatre box office. there was no person or the manager of the theatre available for taking complaint from us.we had come fromall the way from vile parle.kindly see through this complaint and at least reply us.if possible reimburse the expenses made by us to reach the cinemax theatre.
Stupid theatre having online booking, but no online cancellation...Do not go and book tickets through cinemax.co.in.Beware of it friends...
I am stuck in a similar scenario. first transaction showed cancelled, so I went tried again, which was successful. But soon afterwards, I received 2 messages and mails confirming both my bookings. need to cancel one of them, but numbers on their website don't seem to be working or nobody responding. Can you help me with process and number. This is also at Hyderabad, Cinemax Banjara Hills. Thank you

Cinemax — advance bookings

hi my name is Md Ameer. I did the advance booking at cinemax counter and i asked for a good seats so he granted me fifth from below that means in K .then i saw the seats availability it was empty from E,F,G,H,I,J.this is the way they treat customers if you ask for a good seat..
In my case, it is the same. I went ahead and wrongly booked a ticket on 20 th July. But when I realize that I was wrong in booking the tickets I went ahead and try to call but did get any response however I sent an emails at the same time. But the cinemax does not reply. At about 9:50 I called again and when I asked them to cancel and they told me I will not be refunded because the ticket has already been charged. Please help me to refund against this bull policy of the cinemax. Ticket Id: 783447.

In my case I tried to book the ticket in cinemax on 16/10/2012 for cameraman gangatho rambabu.i got a failure transaction, however till now i did not got any refund for a failure transaction also. no body are lifting the customer care number.kindly help me on this. Cinemax — Refund Not Received

I had booked tickets for the mobie dhoom 3 on[protected] the status message received on my email was that the booking was not done and it was cancelled but how does it show on my credit card statement that the money has been deducted i want my money back at the earliest
