Sir I recieved SMS on my mobile no."you have been awarded 500000.00pund in the 2010 cococola prom. to get yor amount contact Mr. Smith with your details via Email:coca.[protected]@hotmail.com". I contacted with details. Again they given one courier co. details to contact for further process. Today I received One call from [protected], what that person telling I am in NewDelhi I am here to deliver your award amount, before that you must deposit Rs.24000/- to ICICI Bank, in the name 'Enterprise current A/c No. CPHPS 1688N. after depositing the amount send scanned deposit slip to [protected]@live.com, then only I am telling code to get your amount. We urge you not to react or share any information in response to such communication. No legitimate company will offer to send you a cheque / transfer funds to your account subject to your sending them some money. Such scams are a global phenomenon and a challenge to all banks.
Please write to us at [protected]@icicibank.com with the account number details wherein you are asked to transfer funds/ money. This will aid us in further investigation of the case. We suggest you lodge a complaint with the local police, giving them the complete details of the case. We assure you that we will offer all co-operation in the investigation.
