[Resolved] Cold Drink — Selling more than MRP | |||
Sir/Madam, This complaints is regarding over charging on Fanta bottle of 250 ml. Actual MRP - Rs. 13/- I was charged Rs. 20/- Rs. 7 Extra. Date : 25th Dec 2011 Time: 9:26 am Place: Himalaya Restaurant ,Opp. Shamukhananda Hall,King Circle,Mumbai. Since I was in a hurry I asked for Fanta and bottle was served to me on the footpath of hotel. The owner was ready to beat me if I would have argued more for extra charging. I asked him about visiting for FOOD & DRUGS INSPECTOR to which he replied that all are corrupt and there is no use to threatening him for such a small amount. I told him that I am a simple middle class person with alot of responsibilities and I dont like the over charging scandal played by his Himalaya Restaurant. He replied that its the No.1 restaurant and customers from far-off places also come to eat here. Food and Drug inspectors are on his payroll and no one can do harm to his business of overcharging. food king — charging more than the mrp
I m a student of Srm university chennai n the outlet over here are charging more money than the mrp for all soft drinks accounting as transportation, cooling charge...pls act soon... All the cold drinks which I buy from the nearby general store are being sold at Rs 25 whereas the printed amount is Rs 20. According to Government, we have every right to not give more than mrp. I am living in Rajasthan . Kindly help me

Dear all,here in nashik, any retailers charge for a cold drink bottle 1or 2 rs more than m.r.p. saying it to be a "cooling charges". is it right? what action can i take?

Cold Drinks — Selling 1 Re expensive
All the cold drinks which I buy from the nearby general store are being sold at Rs 8 whereas the printed amount is Rs 7. According to Government, we have every right to not give more than mrp but even bargain..I am living in UP (W). Kindly help me
