Compaq — Dot in the laptop

No Response till date.

Dear Sir/Mam,

My self abhishek bhandari residence 1/9168 street no-4 west rohtash nagar shahdara delhi-32 recently i bought a laptop model no compaq 610 10-15 days before i have a problem in my laptop & carry bag there is a minor dot in the screen & carry bag chain has been damage i request you to pls change my laptop & carry bag as early as possible as i spent 33000 for laptop its a big amount for me.

compaq 610 laptop — defective piece and non delivery of gift items

i)I purchased one laptop of compaq model number 610 from HOME TOWN, RAJARHAT, KOLKATA, west bengal-700156(E-MAIL [protected]@home-solutions.co.in) on 15th oct 2009. on that day due to festival season i was to receive two gift (one was 1 gm gold coin and another was steel crockery set). after purchase i was told that the gifts will be delivered shortly within a week but till date i have not received anything. when contacted with the concern persons the departmental manager mr abhik roy chowdhury showed his inability due to non availability from the concern department. i also complaint it to HOME TOWN vide complaint number 39994 dated 23 oct 09 but inspite of repeated calls from my side they have not given the gifts. Not only this whenever i spoke to them i was told that they will be calling me back but not once they have called me back. I found myself cheated in this case by the false promise of the gift and the pathetic attitude of the ezone and home town shopping mall staff.
ii) When i purchased the laptop it was sealed and i ask the sales manager to check it but because of festival rush they told me that its a company product and you will not get any problem. however when i checked it was not showing the battery indicator properly. i took the laptop to hometown shopping mall where even though they could not give convincing reply however returned it saying it is programed by company like that. on 30 i tried a CD in the laptop but it did not opened. the same cd was opened in another laptop. i took the laptop to service centre of HP in kolkata where they had kept it for repair. Here i again felt cheated that i have received a defective piece for the price of new one. I had asked for the change of the entire piece but not action is being take . Please help me....

compaq 610 — Audio & Videos

Hi,

I purchased compaq 610 laptop Serial : CNU9522BCC and Operating System is windows 7 home premium.

First problem is, when i open video file from media player its not playing after that if i try to open any other audio or video file its not opening.....

Second problem is, after i plug out airphone pin from laptop the audio sound is not comming from laptop speaker.......

Audio and Video is the main problem im facing ...
please tell me what should do now for that 2 problem...
is it hardware problem or operating system driver problem.....

COMPAQ/COMPAQ 610 LAPTOP — SYSTEM NOT GETTING OPENED

Sir,
I have bought a compaq 610 (laptop) in Dec,2009 from delhi.Since last few days there was some problem while opening the system as it was not getting opened. I gave the system to an authorised dealker of compaq in Lucknow. But they told me that there was some password protected while opening BIOS setup. I bought the installed system with Windows Vista home basic.So there is no question of putting password from my side but there are repeatedly telling me that I have put the password and now mother board will get changed and I have to bear that cost though I have got a Warranty of ONE year and still it is in warranty period. Please look into the matter at the earliest.
