Dear Friends This company called in various bogus names as Country Vacations, Country Club etc run by Rajeev Reddy is a bogus and fraud company. He and Siddarth Reddy are cousins of former chief minister YSR Reddy who is involved in various scams. There is a line between illegal and just above illegal. This company operates in the just above illegal category. Modus Operandi: Get the address and phone number of a innocent customer visiting a mall or a shop by telling them that it is a lucky dip coupon. Country club or holiday vacations is never mentioned here. After a few days call unassuming customer saying that they have won three prizes in the lucky dip coupon organized by the mall or shop. Please note here, they are using the name of the mall or shop to win customers trust which is again a misuse. When the you go to the location, you are caught by a team of sales robbers, mind you they use posh english. they cajole, pressurize, bait, lure, by tall claims which are never substantiated and met by the company. Which includes free international holidays, free flights, free food, free plots/sites, free facility for entire family, free usage for next 30 years, free insurance coverage, free club memberships, so on and so forth whatsover to get the customer to pay anywhere between Rs.10000 to Rs.50000 on the spot. If you do not have the money the company will send people to your home or ATM to even collect it. If you give them a phone number they will call you 100 times. The IV Additional Forum has ordered Country Vacations International Holiday Club (a division of Country Club (India) to repay Rs 2 lakh to Abdul Jabbar and his wife. The Club informed the couple that they had won a prize in a lucky draw and asked them to collect it at their office. The couple were later coaxed to join the Club after paying a membership of Rs 2 lakh and offered sites in Tumkur, which were never allocated. The Forum president D Krishnappa found the Club guilty of deficient service and cheating consumers.

In another case 11 consumers have filed complaints with the II Additional Consumer Forum against Y Rajeev Reddy, manager of The Country Club (India), Bangalore division, for not delivering sites after taking money. The manager has been ordered to repay the amount ranging from Rs 90, 000 to Rs 1, 65, 000 to each of the consumers.
