[Resolved]  DABC, Chennai — Apartment quality is very bad

I completely agree. The quality is very poor. My brand new flat has a ceiling leakage, donno if it is sewage leak and no response yet from DABC. They are purely money minded and greedy.

Tie — Quality is not good.

I have purchased two Park Avenue Tie each costing around Rs. 599/-on 19th April at TRS-Connaught place, B.G.road, pune -411001, invoice No. CM9/100..

I purchased thinking that its a Raymond brand so its quality will be good but it quality is not at all good.
threads are coming out of the Tie. I am facing this problem in both the Ties.

First i decided not to write complaint but the Tie irritated me so much that i had to change my mind.
Money is not a problem for me but i didn't expected this from the "Raymond Brand as well as Park Avenue brand". I felt like cheated.

I also use park avenue deodarants but now on wards, i have decided not to wear or use any items of Raymond as well as Park avenue brand.

We are also assiciated with DABC. They are highly professional and dedicated. They are the only builders in Chennai who handover the project in time, and are with clean records. Kindly do not make false allegations which will affect their service attitude.

This is weird. As a customer of DABC, i know they make sure their services meet the needs and wishes of the people who purchase flats from them. But the comment expressed above does not reflect the same. I am pleased with the services provided by DABC and the way the staff members dealt with me are commendable. The views on their services are important and should not be distorted for petty objectives.
Wherever possible DABC had put things right quickly in our complex and there is no problem till date. Their approach in dealing with every request was fast and DABC executed them so that it wont happen again.


DABC has been declared as an 'excellent' flat promoters by our flat committee. DABC always ensured that they continued to deliver an excellent service.

Your woes appear to be the result of your own misdeeds with DABC. As a ex-Army man, I have invested hard earned, "blood-shed" money in the form of a property with DABC. And to be fair and honest to all concerned, it appears that you have not taken across your point to DABC in the right perspective.

On the contrary to your perceptions, I have had very pleasant business with DABC, in sorting out teething problems of my property.

I agree that there could have been some problems with your flat. But, I am "COCK SURE" that you have not carried across the matter in the right spirit.

Even now, it is not too late. My advise to you is that you approach them in the right way and your problems will be well taken care of. After all, you should try and seek a WIN-WIN approach, rather than a CRY BABY attitude !! All the best. MILITAY MAN

This complaint is baseless. The DABC is a leading flat promoting firm that provides a clean and transparent services to a substantial and diversified client base that includes high and low net-worth individuals. This type of baseless comments and allegations should be condemned at any cost. As a client for DABC, i never experienced any such behavier or attitude from any of their staff or any deficiency from their part. Actually we must praise them for their excellent help during the hand over.

Your complaint is baseless. It appears that you are trying to extract free maintenance work from them. This is a clear case of extortion.

Mr. Vadivelan your complaint against DABC is baseless. They are highly professional and ethical who hand over project on or before time. As far as DABC is concerned there is no need to endorse their trustworthiness as i have personal experience of being treated well by the management and staff. kindly avoid false allegations. Vadivelan's complaint is true. May be all the others disagreeing do not have flats at Mithilam project. Infact, the owners of Mithilam had booked with the same feelings & opinions on DABC's commitment, quality of construction, ethics etc., But it was unfontunate that the materials used are of poor quality, poor workman ship etc., The exterior of Mithilam is great because that is what DABC use for marketing their Abinayam 4 & Gokulam 4 projects.

Perhaps you are all very lucky people but that is not the case for Mithilam owners, please talk to atleast one of them, visit anyone of the 516 flats (Excepting the model flat), see it to believe it.

I have gone thru various comments, mr.vadivelan try to extract some thing from DABC. Let him go out of DABC family. Since these will spoil the services other customers are enjoying from DABC.

Great... Looks that this complaint forum has become an advertisement forum for DABC !!! Mr. Vadivelan had helped DABC. Never seen such responses in such forums or blog sites...

I have only booked a flat in Abinayam phase iii, as far as the complaints concerned there is more against the complaint than for the complaint. Hence we can assume the above case is not general only an aberration, which happens in any major projects. Good to bring it in this forum so that the issue may be addressed at the same time people know about the real worth of dabc projects. Also compare the cost of dabc with others. In that way dabc scores over them. they dont have swimming pool, high tech gadgets etc, Imagine to maintain a swimming pool that too in chennai with constant water shortage would cost a fortune and it will have be borne by middle class people, which is not worth it. If a walking or jogging track is given that is more than suffice to healthy living. i endorse to dabc for the value for money and service

I agree with Mithilam and Abinayam 3 owners. Earlier DABC used to offer good service. My sis bought flat 3 years before and still is very happy resident. Based on her experience I bought in Abinayam III and my experience with DABC is worst. However keeping my patience, still trying to get the best out of them. Guys like Madan and Military man (EX?) may have a good experience with DABC, but that doesn't give them right to ask some body leave the community. I understood Abinayam III is the last project in Mogappair area and they are started their new projects around OMR. (now OMR customers are their new target). DABC changed their office address to OMR and expecting all Mogappair owners to travel at least 20-25kms to OMR office for every single issue. Since they have a project foe next one year, Why the f--k they leave one supporting office in Anna Nagar itself? Do u think do they really support any mogappair customers after one year? If you guys really think so, I am sorry for u. Even if we go their, the minimum waiting time to meet their two horned executive is at least two hours. They think they are the only best busy working soles in the world and rest are lazy, worthless people.

The issue is resolved and I request the Consumer Complaint Admin to remove my complaint immediately. I am happy with the DABC response and I suggest the customers to approach DABC in a amicable manner.

It looks like DABC seriously looking into this forum and respects owner view. That is a good sign. (I am sure they know that all their future OMR prospects will review and analyze the worth of the builders through forums like this). But they have to remember one thing that all the owners are not computer/forum wizards. I would respect that they offer the same courtesy and service to all the owners like one what they offered to Vadivelan.

One more thing, I would really appreciate if they have one support office in Anna Nagar until their service period over with their owners.

I agree with Frank, It is better DABC has a full fledged marketing office in the Site itself, so that people can visit their house under construction and can have constant contacts with the DABC for changes, complaints etc.

CAN I BUY THE ACACIA flat promoted by DBAC, Pls confirm
