Dear sir/Madam,
I am the resident of Pandav nagar, behind Delhi Police Aptt, Mayur Vihar Ph-1, New Delhi-91.
This application is very important to bring to your notice about the contaminated water since more than eight months that we are facing. Sewer water is being supplied through drinking water line. This has become a regular practice now I have gone through many complaints and application being marked to DJB, and people aggrieved by it through websites till date from different locality but to my utmost surprise there is still no action being taken on this regard. It seems that they are merely lying as an application to be heard on later course or pending irrespective of playing with human life. Till how long the local resident will keep waiting for any steps to be taken by your good self.
Am an expecting mother, I become so exhausted to this persisting problem that now I can’t risk my life on false hope. Let me draw some major issues to you to understand this complaint in a better way:
1. The supply of drinking water by Delhi Jal board to us is very irregular. We have to keep minute watch about the supply with no particular timings.
2. Again the water supplied is not usable and dirty (mixed with the water of gutter). Sometimes it’s completely yellow in color and most of the time it smells sewer. This quality of water can’t even be used for washing utensils, cloths, other cleaning work if not for drinking.
3. We don’t have other filling options like hand pumps or other source.
4. USP your phone numbers mentioned in the sites doesn’t work. There is no response from the either side.
Kindly treat this complaint on priority basis as the same can’t be taken carelessly or ignored as “life is not possible without water”. On failing to do m sorry I have to address this matter through PIL with no other option left.
For your additional reference you can collect sample water (Bottle) for Lab test.
Your early action to my complaint will be highly solicited.
