[Resolved]  Deskjet D1560 — Complaint against Silicon Compuware Solutions - NOIDA

I bought a Deskjet printer D1560 on 24/4/09 from Computer Empire, 102, Mehgdoot Building, Nehru Place, New Delhi. When I came home and checked the printer, it was not working properly, it was a defective printer. I called up the customer service and logged my complaint regarding the same, case no- [protected]. I was told that I have to take this printer to the nearest HP authorised service center and get the DOA certificate from them and then it will be replaced by the retailer from whom I bought the printer. The address given to me for the service center was Redington India Ltd. C/O Silicon Compuware Solutions (P) Ltd. 12B Ground Floor, Laxmi Market Palace, NOIDA (UP). I went to this service center on 27/4/09 and told them the problem. I was told that they will scan the bill and send them to HP, and you can collect the DOA on 28/4/09.i.e today. They gave me a reciving note stating that I have left the printer with them, also mentioning the problem with the Printer. This was done by Mr Amit at the service center. There was no manager sitting over there at that time. I called up Mr Amit's cell number (mentioned on the slip) to check my case status today. He picked up the phone and started abusing me and hung up the phone. After that, I went to the service center again today, and i was shocked to see that none of the 4 guys sitting at the service center were from HP. All of them told me that they are relatives of the manager over there, and to my surprise not even the manager was there.

Now I want to know is this the kind of after sales service you provide to the customer? Is this the way service center guys treat you and abuse you? I hate my self that I bough a HP printer, which was defective from the very first day, and when I went for the replacement I was treated like this. HP is such a big brand name, and this incident has really shocked me. This service center which I have mentioined above is a piece of crap, I am sorry to say this. No manager is available whenever you go to this service center. people sitting there are all relatives of the manager and none is from HP. And when you ask for the replacement they abuse you and tel you that they cannot do anything and you can take the printer back. I want that you should look into this matter very seriously and on high priority, as this is spoiling the HP brand name. I request you to replace my printer ASAP and I request you to take some action against this service center.
