[Resolved]  Education Loan — Denial of Education Loan on the basis of not being a meritorious Student

Respected Sir/Mam

With due respect I Angela Picardo D/o of Mr.Casimir Picardo would like to state that i am a student Of Mashal School of Hotel Management-IPS Academy Rau Indore Madhya Pradesh.

I had applied for education loan of Rs.3 lac to pursue Hotel Management which is a 4yrs course and is approved by AICTE and my parents are not financially strong that they can afford my fees, ny father being a driver earning Rs.3000 p.m and my mother being a housewife. The senior authorities have denied to approve my loan stating the reason that i am not a meritorius student reason being i had scored 59% in my 12th C.B.S.E Board. Even I very well know that according to Supreme Court and High Court no Bank can deny giving Loan to a child just on the ground that he was not able to perform well and has scored II division. I only had one hope that through this way i would be able to go for my Higher studies. I do not find the reason for denying my loan a genuine and the correct thing to do with a chid who really looks forward for financial assistance from bank and when i had a word regarding this matter the Palasia Bank Manager said that a student who does not score well has no right to see dreams for his bright future and i can't help you in any way.This has really depressed me a lot as i need to pay the fees before 31 st of december and my exams would commence from January.

I really need education loan assistance from your side because my LIFE and My CAREER is at stake.I hope you would understand my situation and would pay attention on a poor and needy girl's plead and would take action reagarding this matter quickly and revert me back so that i can shape my career. Looking forward for a quick reply from your side.
