Dear sir,
I submittedrequiste application form on 25.01.2009 in the designted centre with photo for inclusion of my name and my wife Mrs Sadhana Sharma in the latest voters list for Lok Sabha Elections. Our name was deelted in last years list. We regret that the same was not reinstated resulting that we could not use our voting right.

DEAR SIR,

I received my Voters ID Card No. FNN2104859 in April 2008 . First of all i was shocked and surprised to see the quality of our voters cards. You can not see the photographs . Photographs are there but not visible . The quality is extremely poor . The contractor has eaten up the whole money issued by Election commission.
Today when i went to vote at our Booth No 40, Govt School, Sector 6, Bahadurgarh, Dist. Jhajjar, Haryana - 124507 - i was utterly shocked to know that my name is not there on the voters list.
I spoke to the B L O and she said she cant help it. Somehow i came across to your Sector Supervisor Mr. Goyal and he asked me to talk to The SDM.
I spoke to S D M Mr. G. L. Yadav on his cell no. [protected] and he said - its impossible. Then i told him that i am not the only one whose name is missing from the voters list. There are hundreds of people i have come across during these 4 hours of waiting here in such a heat. People are angry and fed-up on the deletion of their names from the list . Mr SDM said he will get back to me but that never happened.
I asked him to give me in writing that i am not allowed to vote . He said he cant do it.

May i know why i am not allowed to use my fundamental right to vote.
On one hand Election Commission is spending hundreds of thousands of rupees on advertising to request people to vote and on the other hand when we go to vote we are not allowed to cast our vote.
All these lists are prepared in convinience to one political party . How these people can delete the names of the voters from the voters list.
I came across the people who are on the same address for 20 years and have voted in last election but this time their name is missing.

May i know why and how our names are not shown in the list even after issuing us the fresh voters card ?
If you allow - i will send my original voters card to your office to show you how poor quality it is and i request you to fix the responsibility for not adding my name in the voters list.
this kind of election is not fair because lots of people could not vote.

i request your kind co-operation in this regard.

i want to state that i am holding my Election voter but still unablt to use my fundamental right to vote

this time my name was not in the election list at all, which make me surprized as i had already voted in 2004 Lok shabha & Vidhan Shabha elections
Not this but above all 10 houses from Sec 29 the same row was missing in all the list.

All over the world the Indian democracy is respected, WQhat the fun of democracy if the fundamental rights are not honored as per the Indian constitution.
i herby inform you that and request to please follow up the matter with the local state agencies for the same.

I have a voters identity card no FJF4220869 .I stay in L46 sector 25 .This is our own flat .I found that my entire family names are deleted from voters list.I could not exersize my franchise.I would like to know why the names are deleted from voters list.

Today, I went to vote, and I found somebody has casted his vote in the same card number.Indian government is spending crores of public money for democracy, and still there are duplicasis in cards.Really it is very shameful ELECTION COMMISSION.

I am a resident of Howrah, my Voter Card No is WB/24/162/417594, suprisingly when i turned out to vote this time I found to my disbelie that my name ( incl my family) has been removed from the voter list.

I stay in Maluan Abul Kalam Azad Roda, Howrah-1 for last 15 years and have been a voter since then

My name has been struck off from the voters list.
I became a voter in 1995
My voters ID card no is WB/20/139/759016.

It is a shame that election commission did not help me in this regard when I called 1506 thrice.
Also I tried to talk to the ERO on the matter over phone without success.

There is a newly formed district in UP called Kanshi Ramnagar. Kanshiram nagar comes under Etah Lok Sabha constituency. Etah will go for polling on 7th May. Undoubtedly, for election duties sarkari babus cook up all kinds of excuses to skip poll duty. But question arises here is that can Election Commission of India deploy any seriously ill old age person for election duty? If the the patient has all relevant documents including all prescriptions and diagnosis written by specialist doctors.There are few seriously ill persons in Kanshi Ramnagar deployed for election duty. Even they are showing the relevant documents, as news are coming that many govt employees are pretending to be 'ill' to skip election duties. But CDO and other officers of Kanshiram Nagar are very very much insensitive towards genuinely ill employees. Election Commission should take a serious note of it and the people with serious medical problems and old age employees should be allowed to skip poll duty.

Sir,
While returning from office i lost my Voter Identity card. Same day i reported and an FIR was lodged in Police for the same. I went to election Commissioner office for duplicate card. alawy they returned me back telling that they haven't recd the form. Pls look into the matter immediately. My card No. is LLC 1542588.

I have applied for EPIC card in september 2008. My name along with the name of my wife (Smt. Rekha Jha) and my brother Mukesh Kumar Jha were included in the electoral roll for Rajouri Garden constituency Ac No.27. On the basis of that I casted my vote during assembly election. Despite a lapse of more than six month, my EPIC card has not been delivered yet. I visited election office at Tagore Garden several times but their standard reply was that ' card will reach my residence'. It may be appreciated that parliamentary election is on 7th, but till date epic card has not been received so far. Kindly forward my complaints to election commission for early delivery of my EPIC Card.

In the cards "Hamilton Court" is not mentioned. Also we understand our names are not included in voter's list. May we know whether we can vote and if so what is the Polling Booth address?

Today is 30 April 2009 and it is the Lok Sabha election date in Kanpur, up state . I am a citizen of Kanpur City and my voter id card number is MQJ4540027(electoral area - 275 - govind nagar, kanpur city, up). I have given vote by this card after 06/06/2005 (card issuing date printed on my card ) in every election held in UP. But today My name was not on the list. (No government employee visit to my home for the verification .) It is a totally human error . I felt very regret to face this situation. So i want to lodge complaint and want judicial actions against relative persons who are responsible for this act of carelessness . and due to them i was not able to use my basic indian right of voting in lok sabha election as per " bhartiya samvidhan " today.
