[Resolved] Electoral Roll — Non inclusion of name voter list and mistakes in entries | |||
We (Matiyar Rahaman Khan), voter Id no. CRZ2895811; Mouli Rahman, voter Id no. CRZ2895829) had changed our residence within Kalyani area from PART. 110 to PART 123 during May, 2008 and efforts were made to include our names in voter list in PART 123 at Buddha park, Kalyani producing all the relevant since 2008. Our names have not been included in the new electoral roll whereas our names have been deleted from PART 110. Having discussed with SDO, we applied in appropriate forms (No. 6) and appeared on 25.03.2010 at SDO Office, Kalyani with all original documents and satisfied concerned Officers. Surprisingly, the name of my wife (Mouli Rahman) has appeared in PART. 123 (serial no.1395) with incorrect house name n0693 (instead of B-4/394). My name is again missing despite of the fact that we appeared with original document before same Officer on the same date. I am not yet sure that my name will be included and I shall have any voting right at all. SDO Kalyani is non-responsive despite of lodging complaint for such mistakes made by the officers. Officers responsible for updating electral roll are harssing public by suggesting to apply again and again. Was this information helpful? | |||

Electoral Roll — I have not received the Electoral card.
Dear Sir,I have submitted the application form duly filled at Kairthabad municipal office against to your previous announcement . Till now I have not received the Electoral card.
What is my NVT no.
Kindly advise me What I should do??
Electoral Roll — deletion of name from electoral roll
I was issued a new photo id card by the Election Commission of India on[protected]. I was very proud of the ease with which the process took place and I voted in the last general elections. Though in recent months I have seen notices in the papers to those who did not have a photo id card to immediately apply for one, I rested content that I already had mine. My address on the card was somewhat incorrect regarding the Gurgaon sector (it said 17, whereas I am in sector 28), but our sector number is unimportant in the postal address, and after all, it had not mattered in the last election. What is important is the condominium name, which is The Laburnum. Imagine my shock to find that my name does not appear on the voters' list (I checked at the Election Office at Gurgaon's Mini Secretariat). The Deputy Commissioner was sympathetic but powerless to rectify the omission. Not once were we told in the last months that EACH TIME THERE IS A FRESH ELECTION, EVERY CITIZEN MUST APPLY FOR A FRESH ID CARD. It is a ludicrous state of affairs.
