[Resolved]  Electricity Board — Frequent power Cut

Sir,

This is regarding the frequent power cuts experienced in New Gayatri Nagar, Karmanghat, Hyderabad 500079. There is a 2 hr power cut scheduled but unfortunately it turns out to be more than that . Infact, we are struggling with almost 6 hrs power cut at times for some insane reasons .. eg., wind, rain . I understand these things do cause minor interruptions but constant power cuts are very annoying . The response from the relevant substations is not at all meaningful as well . Please understand that we are not living in any remote village in some corner of the country . So, it would be of great help if someone can take this up and find an effective solution.

Frequent Power Cut — Frequent Power Cut

Hi, I am residing in Vijaya Krishna Residency in Madinaguda and there is a very frequent power cut in our locality. Particularly 2-3 houses near by. and it is happening everyday for minimum of 8 hrs. Please help us to overcome this issue. Quick help is deeply welcome.

This is regarding the frequent power cuts experienced in all over Mysore. We are staying in Hebbal area.We are struggling with more 7 hours power cut every day. Even in night time 2 to 3 hours power cut is there. I dont what they are going to save in night time. After coming back from office, if this is like that how the people will be happy. We request you to leave the power cut atleast during night time. I hope you will do the needful.

Electricity board hyderabad — Power cutting in night times

I mohammed niyaz a resident of Hyderabad Toli Chowki, Janaki nagar beside Galaxy Theater. In our area Daily in night times Electricity power is taking off. I dont why it is happening but it is very inconvinient to the people. Every day night 11pm and in between 11pm to 3pm power is cutting off 2 or 3 times. This will happening from last few days regularly. it is impacting high on people who are leaving in this area. Because childrens are not able to sleep properly and even employees who are woriking facing more problems. Kinely take necessary actions.

Thid is the same situation in kukatpally vivekananda nagar and these electricity people do not bother to answer queries

This is a very genuine problem plaguing the entire population that dwell at urappakam. It has become a nuinsance with the electricity board pushing thousands of people into darkness at odd hours of the day . There is no pre decided schedule and duration for these power cuts. They cut the power as and when they want and restore it after hours .

Yesterday night after all the power cuts mentioned by the petitioner above, the power was cut at around 1 am and restored at 6:30 in the morning . It has become a pain for office goers with their night's sleep going for a toss . I have not slept a wink yesterday and my work at office is getting affected .

Please do something about it before people take up the situation into their hands because we cannot predict what frustration makes people do in the heat of the moment.

This is a very genuine complaint I'm sure thousands of people residing at Urappakam would have . The electricity board of the area is very irresponsible and annoying . They cut the power as and when they want with no pre decided schedule or duration . All this happens at odd hours of the day as well making life all the more difficult .
The ruthlessly push thousands into darkness even when the mercury soars beyond tolerable limits . The sudden increase in the numer of mosquitoes add to the woes of the people .
Apart from all the power cuts mentioned by the petitioner above, the power was cut yesterday at around 1 am in the night and it was restored hours later at 6:30 am today. The office goers, students, senior citizens, home makers are all plagued by this problem that is looming large over their lives.
Please do something about this before the residents take up the matter into their hands and situation goes out of control.

Adding to this, they have power cutd in the mornign for more than 6 hours.. This happpen s for both weekdays and weekends equally.. PLease look into this matter with importance and rescue us from this power torture..

Iam a regular victim of this . Apart from 6 hrs morning time powercut, we are facing power failures during night times too which is very horrible in such a hot city like chennai. please consider this as most urgent and do the needful.

For few weeks the power cut had reduced. But starting from last week the power cuts in urappakam area have increased drastically and at unscheduled time. There are days when we will not have power for close to 16 hours. Request the state government and government of India to look into this issue very seriously. People living outside Chennai are also human beings and every one cannot afford a generator or inverter in their home. Kindly take necessary action as soon as possible.
