[Resolved] Electrolux Washing Machine — TERRIBLE SERVICE, A RIP-OFF! | |
The technician who was sent to the house was unable to fully diagnose the problem. We were informed that an estimate for repairs to be undertaken could only be done at the customer care company. The machine was taken, kept for a week and returned with the problems intact, an additional problem with the timer and a big fat bill. The bill too just gave a lumpsum amount rather than a break up for the various parts that they claimed to have replaced demonstrating a complete lack of transparency in its billing. On making a fresh complaint, we were somewhat relieved to know that they were willing to refund our money until we received Rs 1, 000 less. We paid Rs 3950 including inspection charges and were refunded Rs 2950 - How can Electrolux have such a service agency that is neither technically competent nor professional in its job and customer care. We defnitely won't be going in for another Electrolux product thanks to Suhas refrigeration Bangalore India. Was this information helpful? | |

I have purchased a Electrolux washing machine just three months back & have started facing problems.
I registered a complaint on 24th May 2009 as the machine stopped working.The customer service technician visited on 25th May 2009 -- went back saying that certain part is to be replaced.
To date they do have not replaced the part.
Every time we phone up the service center we are told that the machine will be repaired in 2 days. For 10 days now we do not have washing machine working at home.
I have old parents. How does Electrolx -- expect us to complete our washing.
I have never seen such insensitive after sales service.
I will never ever recommend any appliance to anyone mainly becaus of their poor sevice and indifferent attitude of service outfit.

My washing machine model no is 760SXL. Machine seriel no is 1B1401619. Date of puchase is 01/12/2001. I am staying in Brajalalchak, near HALDIA, PURBA MIDNAPUR Dist.
My machines PULSATOR is not working.

I really empathise and understand what you have gone thru. The sales supervisor in my case, Mr. Sunil of Ruchika Services, Hari Nagar, Ashram, was bold enough to challenge us to make full payment even before we could even have a glilmpse of the machine, leave alone check it! He even had the cheek to tell us to `Go complain wherever u want!" And then he continously disconnected our calls!

here is mine also since last six months i've tried several times to contact with the concerned personnel but as usual all in vain. last time also it happened the same way n we got the parts changed by another company man who is nearby in our vicinity.
my mother bought another semi automatic to reduce the burdon of washing clothes.thank god we have other companies also who r helping us with the latest techniques n friendly after sales services.
there is a long list of things n wistage of time n money if today anyone is planning to buy any electrolux product.
Sometime we r against anyone because we've any biased opinion but this time it is realy a big problem.
we buy so called offbeat good company products to encurage their engineers to improve more n give us the best of them, n they take it for granted.
sorry not this time. in my opinion such companies should be totally abolished from the service sector n given no chance to cheat the prospective customers.
