[Resolved]  Emirates Airline — lost mobile phone. broken hotbrush.broken suitcase locking device

With reference to claim no MAN EK 10201. Travelling from JNB to MAN via DXB.It appears the label on the suitcase came off as it was not attached properly, the liner having not been removed to leave the sticky part exposed to stick onto the handle of the suitcase.(Second case label was similarly attached, but managed to stay on) The case was located on Thursday and we were promised it would be on the Friday flight, first thing. My query in the afternoon, was told they had not confirmed flight time but it would then be Saturday. Duly arrived in the afternoon.
Suitcase lock had been broken off with the entire locking piece attached to zips. I will not be able to use this case again.Lock was not returned.
My cosmetic bag which was zipped closed and contained makeup and my Panasonic camera phone had been opened and contents strewn out into the case loose. Mobile phone now missing.
Clairol hotbrush has been broken.
I understand that the label did come off but this was not due to any fault of mine. I feel it was due to the inefficiency of your staff at the checkin desk in Johannesburg. This has caused my husband and myself considerable inconvenience and stress.
Yours faithfully,
(Mrs) Anita Murphy.
