[Resolved]  Fame Cinema — Show Mismanagement

FAME – DOSENT MAKE YOUR DAY ANY MORE !!!
I watch movie regularly and Fame use to be my one of the favorite movie cinemas to go for just because of the overall experience of watching the movie is just too good
But my experience with Fame movie over last two instances has been horrifying to see the standards of Fame have really to be worried about….

28th June 2011 – Cars 2 movie 3D @ Fame Lokhandwala Andheri


The movie was suppose to start at 8:15 but starts at 8:45…. again I am ready with my 3D glasses all excited with to watch the movie; shocking was the screen was screening Transforms 3 it went on for approximately 10 min and then now hoping the movie will start
Another shocker now it was screening Toy Store 3D movie this again lasted for more than 5 minutes
Again the screen shuts and now it starts again saying Cars 2 I am ready with my 3D glasses all excited with to watch the movie and it started Cars 2 3d movie and guess what the last one and the killer one was the Cars 2 was in 2D again it lasted for 10 minutes and finally the movie stared as Cars 2 3D after almost 30 minutes of scheduled time of 8:40…. A great experience was the way the movie started finally rather than the movie itself


18 July 2011 - Zindagi na Milege Dobara @ Fame Dahisar Thakur Cinema

I was with my family this time around and the horrifying experience at Fame Andheri was just a mishap which may happen… I Kept my confidence on the Fame movies when movie started on time rebuilding my assurance on Fame cinemas but it did not last for long… the movie started with the background music and the silence dialogue were exchanged between the actors where Abhay I believe was proposing to Kalki Remember “I believe” but this kept on silence dialogue for more than 5 min with all the background music but to my shock was that there was no Vocal in the movie and no one bothered from Fame staff to look into it till I went out and asked Fame staff to check it and then he informs that there is a technical fault. The movie kept continuing and then the staff came and said the technical issue is sorted.. By this time all the people in the theatre were out waiting for response. With hope all went in but I knew there will be more horrifying experience it again started from where we it was paused again not to my surprise the Vocal was again missing… I again went out along with other people this time around the TL came saying there is a technical error so you have to seat in our next show which is at 10: 30 show … The time is around 10:05 and the staff wants us to wait for 25 more minutes. I knew no point waiting so I asked him to refund my money. He said let me have a approval from my theatre manager who is not working today. It took more 10 min for him to get approval. Finally he refunded me Rs 480/- Further to this I asked him I have paid convenience charges to book my show what about that… He again took 10 minutes to find answer and now he says give me the money back i.e. 480 rupees and give me your e mail id we will refund you through internet. So I asked him how many days?? He had no clue again he reacted he was clueless I was pissed off and just took the money and went away


Both the experience has been horrifying with such mismanagement. Forget about the local conveyance and time wasted I was not even paid for the money that I spent but much more than that was it was such unpleasant experience and the family was upset as they were so excited to watch the movie. I felt very bad looking at sad faces of my family.

Fame movie doesn’t make your day anymore
