[Resolved]  Futurebazaar.com — Inferior quality of the product (bedsheet)

Order ID: [protected] - HandloomWala RPC 4 Red Roses Buds Print Double Bed Sheet - This bedsheet had bled after the first washing and faded. When I reported this matter to them, this is what they responded:

FutureBazaar - "In regards to your order number [protected], I understand that the bed sheet which is delivered to you is faded after first wash. I apologize for the same and confirm that at per the return policy we only accept returns within 15 days of the product being delivered to you. Also the product which is in used condition cannot be returned.Your kind understanding in this matter is highly appreciated. Meanwhile, if we can be of further service, please do not hesitate to contact."

I would rate this response as 'quite rude'. They initially never apologized or felt sorry for the bad quality but only talked about the return policy. So they said that even after the bad quality the bed sheet cannot be returned as it has been over 15 days. Look at the quality stuff that they are selling over the website. So ideally whenever somebody buys such thing from them, he/she needs to first wash that within 2-3 days to check whether it bleeds or not.

Secondly, This is absolutely illogical to say that It is used and cannot be changed now. How would somebody come know about the quality (after the wash) unless it is used? Without using/washing nobody can predict whether it will bleed. Am not talking about the liking of the bed sheet that I have not liked it. If I say so then they should say that it's been over 15 days and cannot be changed. Rather, Am talking bout the quality of the stuff which cannot be known until used.

I asked them one simple question: how would someone know that the bed sheet will bleed/ fade without usage and washing? They skipped this question again and tried to wash their hands off this way:

Futurebazaar - "I totally appreciate your efforts in sharing your concerns regarding the unpleasant experience you had. My sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused to you. However as per 15 days return policy it would really not be possible to return the product. The experience you had is really unfortunate and I assure you that the same will not be repeated. I appreciate your kind patience, cooperation and understanding in this matter."

FutureBazaar - "I must clarify that any used product not eligible for return, however the experience you had is unfortunate and necessary action will be done from our end to avoid such instance in future. Your satisfaction is extremely important to us. We regret the inconvenience caused to you."

They are shamelessly talking about customer satisfaction where in reality it was never thought about. My money went down the drain but at least others should learn from this experience and that is the whole idea behind this complaint. This is certainly not creating good word of mouth about future bazaar online shopping. At least I would not recommend anyone to buy bedsheets from future bazaar going forward.

Let me confirm that we make sure that the products delivered to our customers are of good quality. However I understand that the quality of the product delivered to your by the vendor was not as per your expectation. We hence have highlighted the issue to our vendors and they have arranged a delivery of replacement product at your shipping address.

I hence request you to kindly confirm the receipt of the replacement product at your end.
