[Resolved]  Gati Courier Services — CONSIGNMENT DAMAGED - NO ACCOUNTABILITY - NOT BEING RRPLACED/REPAID FOR THE DAMAGE

Hi.
Writing this mail post hearing that this is the best Customer Compaints Redressal Forum.

I am an international traveller on frequent corporate visits.
A brand new BIG SIZED TROLLEY has been severely damaged en-route to Pune from Kolkata.
It is neither been surveyed nor being replaced or repaid for the loss.

I lodged the comlaint within an hour it ws delivered and just post the delivery guy rushed out of my house taking my signature for the dlivery.

PS: I am lodging the complaint out of sheer frustration. I am due for an international travel all too soon. If someone can help me expedite and the loss be repaid.

Please treat this as VERY URGENT !

I have booked my luggages ( 2 brand new big size trolleys, I carton) to be transferred from Kolkata to Pune.
They were delivered in my house at Aundh, Pune on 11th Feburary, 2010 by delivery man in the name of: NIKAM (Gati Pune, Aundh Division - [protected])

Just 20 mins post when the delivery man left, I noticed that one of my trolleys has been severely damaged. ( A big Hole + several Scratches ) PFA pics of the trolley.

I immediately brought this to the notice of the customer care and lodged the complaint.(witin 48 hrs as per rules)

Details are as follows:

GATI DOCEKT NUMBER :[protected]
DELIVERY : Kolkata (Santragachi) to Pune (Aundh)
COMPLAINT NUMBER : 10403767

None from the GATI corporate division has bothered to visit and have a look. Instead of that, they have sighted me some unreasonable logic/statements and said that the damaged trolley can’t be replaced.

Please treat this as urgent and make all arrangements so that the trolley is replaced soon.
I just can’t accept the misdemeanor, the callous attitude and the severe damage to my luggage.

I travel internationally and often so. I am due for a travel soon as well.

Expedite the process.

Very bad on part of GATI. They charge so high compared other transporter, then why such callousness.
The entire team involved with this transaction should be punished. Gati top official should immediately appologise and compensate the loss if any.Atleast respond.
I ordered Kent RO at 2nd February. And estimated delivery was upto 15th February. But till order not provide to me. They make a fraud to me. I provide full adress of my house with pincode.untill they ask for additional adress and not delivered a order to me
