[Resolved] Girias, Coimbatore — Worst after sales response
This is one of the worst dealers in Coimbatore for consumer electornics as far as after sales is concerned.
These people treat the customer respectfully only till they sell the product. Once it is sold, they dont even care to talk/listen to the customer.
We had got a new washing machine from this dealer. The new one did not run!!! The company person asked us to contact Girias and get a replacement as the product had some manufacturing defects. We contacted Girias, they said they dont have stock and it will take one week. After 15 days also, the response was same. They said it will take 10 days more.
So we had to buy a higher version of the product, paying more money. Then they said, they have to cancel their previous bill and give a new bill to us. We said OK. they said due to Audit purpose, they want the new bill back, and they said they will courier it to us.
But they did not. We called back once in 2 days for a month. Everytime they say it will reach us in another day. But till a month and half it did not.
Finally we went to the shop directly. The Manager there, one Mr.Gopal, the irresponsible manager, says it is not his problem to give us the bill. He says, he has lot of work. He cannot take up our problem and give us OUR bill soon. He asked us to come back after 2 hours. As if no one else have work!! We said we will wait and take. We had gone to get the bill taking permission from our office. We said so. Then also he was not taking up our obligation. After one and half hours of struggle we finally got it after fighting with another person, but, they did not give us the original bill. They gave only the copy!!! We should have got the original bill on purchasing the product. They took it back and they say we had lost it! The auto driver who delivered the machine knows it all, as he was the person who took both the old and new bill with him back.
Is it our problem that the machine did not work?????
Did we forget about the bill and barge in all of a sudden to these people asking for it????
After selling the product, don't they have to responsibility to give the bill?????
Without the bill, if something happens to this new product what will we do??
If your product is working fine, then no problem. If your product has some defects then you are gone. You will have to fight to get a replacement/service from the dealer, as if you have done the mistake.
There are so many other dealers who can give good response!!
