[Resolved] Godrej Locks And Keys — Pathetic Customer Service
We purchased Godrej main door lock and key at one of the dealers at Bangalore; who mentioned to us that the free installation of the same will be done, once we speak to the helpline[protected] number. Accordingly, we gave a call to request for the same.
The customer service executive mentions to us that the installation team will not come on Day Zero (day of call), or the next day (Day 1) ; but will definetly come on Day 2 (two days after purchasing the set). The reason I was given was that, anyways the service request number status would have to be closed, so they will definetly come. It was also mentioned that they will come sometime between 12 pm to 7 pm only. On questioning whether it was practically possible where both husband and wife both are working to take permission at the whims and fancies of Godrej installation team; there was nothing but a statement that they cannot help it.
Firstly, its surprising that it takes two days for installing a lock. Secondly, I am sure no sane person goes and purchases locks everyday. It would be out of dire necessity and security concerns that one would purchase it and the team takes two days to install it...Ridiculous!!
Can somebody put some brains into their hollow heads...
