Dear Sir / Madam,



I have been a customer of Godrej since the past 24 years …

The first refrigerator that my parents purchased was of godrej and only after looking at the

Product we purchased a new refrigerator of godrej again …



But since Sept 07 the refrigerator has been faced with some issues …



Even after repeated complaints ( Ref number 640135 and 642099) there has been no progress



From the customer service end it was Mr Rakesh tat I got in touch with

And one of your Vashi Area engineer Mr Ram ( cell number [protected]) were the people I got in touch …



The Worst disappointment was from Mr Ram.. that after repeated calls to him as well he has simply turned me down..



Its been since sept 07 (3 months so far) and I am thoroughly disappointed from the customer service that is termed as SMART CARE



I hope that this mail brings to light the issues that I am facing

I sincerely don’t intent to take any steps such that your competitors will be benefited by my disappointed

we bought the godrej eon refrigeraotor after repeated calls from their customer care(the name is a joke), they exchanged our old godrej ref with a eon.Th problems started from day one

The service man who came to install the fridge insisted that we buy a stand, where as the manual clearly says don't place the fridge on anything except the floor.. He insisted and sold us a stand which made the fridge shake a lot and we were later told by another godrej personnle that the stand is not required and wa ssold to meet targets. After 3 long months, phone calls, fights they accepted that their mechanic was at fault and refunded our money.

within 4 months the handle broke, (this is their premium range mind you).It took them 2 months to find a replacement which broke within 10 days. this time they replaced in a quick 15 days.At this time we also started getting calls asking us if they are happy with our service and if they would like to renew their service contract.

10 days ago the super premium ref stopped working, The first visit was to inform us that the gas has leaked, the great techie repaired it but the ref was still not cooling. a hundred calls later Godrej promised to send a senior technician, the same guy came 2 days later (he had got magically got promoted and become a senior technician in 2 days). He now declared that the ref is not cooling cause the compressor has crashed. it s been 3 days and we are still waiting to hear from the great company to get the compressor fixed.

If this is their service in big cities i wonder what is it like to suffer a godrej service experience in smaller towns.

do anything but don't buy a godrej product. they have no service and adi godrej is too old to do anything now.
How to replace thermostat
SIR I MADE COMPLAIN TO GODREJ VIDE NBR 325202 FOR MY FREEZER WHERE COOLING IS NOT PROPER. THEIR ENGINEER CAME SAYS GAS IS NOT PROPER WE HAVE TO PAY RS 350 AND REQUIRES ELECTRICAL POWER SAVER COSTING RS. 650/- WE PAID AND FOUND FREEZE STILL NOT WORKING PROPERLY WE TRIED CALLING THEIR NUMBER BUT OTHER END ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE LINE. WE ASKED FOR PROPER BILL AND THEY SAYS STATIONERY OUT OF STOCK. GAVE US A HAND RECEIPT FOR RS. 1000/- AS CHALLAN PLS DO SOMETHING TO GET OUR FREEZE COMPLAIN HEARED BY GODREJ.
I have purchased a Godrej Refrigerator Model V2 GDP-195 on 3.10.2008 from your dealer "Video Plaza", Muchipara, Durgapur - 713212. There was a gift offer of 3 pcs Non-stick cookware on that purchase. But your Dealer unable to give me the aforesaid gift at that time. I have requested your dealer in several times to give me that gift. After one month they have given a gift pack which was not packed properly and partly open. Whenever I opened the pack I found that instead of three pcs of cookware, there was only one piece. I refused the gift instantly. Till now the dealer saying that they could not do anything in this regard because the problem is from Godrej's end. Please verify and reply as soon as possible.

I think this type of problem will hamper the Godrej's goodwill and loss of business in long run.

some refrigerator cooling problem/light is not in service.equipment is under service contract.- pl atten urgently.
DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT, EVER EVER BUY A GODREJ REFRIGERATOR.
IT NEEDS A GAS REFILL EVERY SIX MONTHS AFTER THE INITIAL WARRANTY OF 1 YEAR.
AFTER EVERY REFILL THE EFFICIENCY (COOLING) FALLS BY 20%.
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AMC YOU WLL LOSE ONE MONTH SALARY FOR EVERY REFILL.
EVEN TO REFILL THE GODREJ TECHNICIAN WANTS GAS CYLINDER AND EVERY THING ELSE (LIKE COFFEE ETC) READY. HE EVEN WANTS A PHOTOCOPY OF THE WARRANTY CERTIFICATE. (DOES GODREJ MANAGERS HAVE A PHOTOCOPY M/C AT THEIR HOMES???).

SO DO THE MATHS . THE FRIDGE IS GONE IN 5-6 YEARS.

I bought godrej refrigerator on 15/5/2005; model:-cold gold. It failed to function properly before 2 days since 16/04/2010. Its compressor stopped to function properly.

I had registered a complaint regarding my Godrej ion Refrigerator on 12 Jun 2010 vide Ref No 928570 at Toll free .The same was attended by Service centre executives at Nashik . But within one hour of service, the same problem continued. I had immediately called up the Customer care centre at Nashik , and despite repeated reminders everyday ,till date (* days) no one has turned up . This is utter carelessness and unprofessional approach on the part of such a reputed concern. I really feel that the service engineer should take moral responsibility for a problem that re-occurs within one hour.Kindly take some steps to curtail such lackadaisical attitude towards a customer n get professional.

In June 2007 I purchased one double-door pentacool Godrej Refrigerator from CAPITOL ELECTRONICS, Behala, Kolkata. The fridge is giving troble from the begining. Now I am having service contract too! In the mean-time its timer was changed twice. Both the doors were replaced. Some other smaller parts were also changed to keep the refrigerator running.
For the last few days, the refrigerator is generating quite high pitch sound and it causing sound pollution in the house. we can not sleep even for this sound.
As the refrigerator is giving trouble from the begining, I feel the organization should replace it.
Or, I have to forget my facination for purchasing Godrej products and need to switch over to other brands.
Your Regional Manager (Kolkata- South), Mr. Rohit Raj, do not have any sympathy towords the customers and always speaks rudly and never take any positive steps.
If Godrej do not take any immediate step, in that case we'll be forced to think some alternatives.

My name is Kumaran Surendranath.I bought a godrej refrigerator on 17th Sep 2010, in last 5 months service people had to visit 4 times regarding several complaints,once it was cooling problem,then iceing problem,last time my fridge was not getting on.The service people came they opened some boards and made it start again.I approached the seller,The Das Agencies,Palakkad,they told me there is no option for any kind of replacement.They can only get it repaired,so Iam wondering how long I should go on with this process,till I buy another brand and dump this godrej refrigerator?

I have registered a complaint with Godrej Customer Care on 14th feb 2012 about not cooling of my Refrigerator purchased in last December, My Complaint No is [protected], after a Month on March 12th 2012 Service men has visited and confirmed some problem and they promised to get back with in two days, till date no one has visited, and i have been calling the Karimnagar Authorized Service on [protected], he is not responding properly, he is postponing daily and lying that the people were started to you from last two days, At the same time i have launched a complaint on online customer care but no response from them.

Will this behavior makes you any Goodwill??
