DEAR SIR,

I am Suvankar Sarkar purhase a Godreg Refregerator from Sen Electronics, Guptipara, Hooghly ( Prop. Sukomal Sen ) on 10.06.2010 . Now from onwards 05.01.2012 it was not cooled . i report to above party even 5-7 times to check it , but they reply : ok, Man will be go for check it . but any man not come to check .

Please advice to solve my problem as eqarliest .

gas refilling — call center problem

dear sir,
i ve been a customer at Faridabad via cus no. fg2407 for prarthna enterprises. your call center no[protected] is not having any no of the said agency[protected],[protected],[protected]. Im facing a lot of problem for booking of my refill . please look in to this matter asap.

Its not problem in Faridabad but its problem in Gujarat too & may be all over India..for cooking gas.

We are also facing same problem with local gas agencies for re-fill..so i hp the recent neucler deal with US will help us such kind of cooking energy too..????

and sometimes we hear a ringtone but no one picks it up.

Godrej 2 door refrigirator — not cooling properly

we have already have the same problem just before 1 week. they have taken 1000rs and still there is no improvement in its cooling system. please take some action as soon as possible.
Since we purchased the fridge in April 2008 from M/s NEST under their invoice No. 260033 dt. 24-4-08 it has not worked properly. Our complaints to the supplier, M/s NEST, Kandath Complex, G.B.Road, Palakkad has not yielded any result.Your service provider M/s A One Trade Links, Palakkad are equally unprofessional in their approach.Even under the warranty period, they are demanding payments for their services.They have taken the fridge for repairs on 7-8-08, 17-10-08, and 8-4 09 and each time they return it after considerable delay and many reminders. We are a pharmaceutical distributors and many of the life saving drugs are to be kept in the fridge.We will be forced to take legal steps if the defective refrigerator is not replaced immediately.

Refrigerator 180 Frostfree — door leakage

Sir, I have 180L Frostfree fridge from Godrej(NOT IN WARRANTY) at my home in Gurgaon.The cooling of the fridge got poorer leading to my complaint No 929653 at Delhi.Mechanic from M/s New Era Gurgaon visited us on 09-10-08.The repair charges as asked for were paid but problem remained and my requests for repairs were not attended to-even after I contacted your web site about 3months back, M/s New Era rung us up but did not visit for repairs.My address is B-101, Krishna Apartment, Plot No-GH 98, Sector 54, Gurgaon-122011.My telephone No[protected], [protected].

Godrej — refrigerator not cooling

I purchase a godrej refrigrator 2 year before and it is in warranty period the problem is the refrigrator not working cooling process my refrigrator is off for 1 month because iam out of station after come back i srart it its not cooling .
Dear Sir,
I have GODREJ REFRIGERATOR and have a contarct for one year (AMC) but feel very sorry to say that after lot of complaints till now i am not setisfied with the service becacuse its not working till now properly. Engineer told me that timer have some problem and we have not timer in stock so i have put a old timer that is not workable.
Pl do needful action and repair my refrigerator.

we are facing the same problem which was resolved in april 2009.just three months passed after changing the compressor and our refrigerator is not cooling again.

It was with great confidence that we decided to freeze on buying a Godrej refrigerator, going by the reliability the name Godrej suggests.
Unfortunately, the experience has not been a too pleasant one for us.
When right from the booking stage, the model we had selected was delivered nearly 15 days after the promised date.
Well all's well that ends well, we would have liked to say..but no! That was not the end of laments for us. After a few days of service, our refrigerator stopped cooling.
We informed the store from which we had purchased and we received a call from some service centre saying that a technician would be there in THREE days. Well keeping their promise, the technician arrived only on the third day, that too without calling to confirm if anyone was home. He informed us that some part (the timer) was faulty and he would come with a replacement the next day. What surprised us was the technicians promotion attempts to buy a stabilizer!
The next day, we got the part replaced, and things were alright for ..alas, less than one week, when again we faced the same problem.
Again came the innumerable calls, ONE more technicians visit..and till date we are stuck with a non functional fridge. We have tried calling any and all places we could , but apart from being told that the piece is out of stock, that too after we called, no one has taken any cognizance.
Today, a refrigerator is not a luxury item any more but has become more than a necessity. Imagine our plight, having to throw away stocks of vegetables, and dairy items besides other things.
We all keep busy schedules and such problems can cause a lot of irritation and trouble.
We are totally regretting our decision to have bought home a godrej product!!

My refrigerator is not working properly.I visited the shopkeeper and informed him regarding the same after continous folloup of 8 days a servicing person visited my house and told that there is gas choking problem.But i'm doubtful about his answer as without testing he had concluded.Also he said that servicing charge is Rs.250/ and gas refil is Rs.800 total 1050.

The service charges are too much.
We have 240 litre Godrej Refrigerator ony 3 yrs old, Now from last 3-4 months not giving good cooling effect , even after whole night ice formation is not possible

There was cooling problem in my fridge. The first complaint which I made to Godrej Service Centre (Toll Free No. [protected])was in the month of May 2010. Since then I am struggling to resolve this problem. Following are the details of the work carried by the Godrej technicians so far.

1. In first visit of technicians from Godrej, they said that the gas Problme
2. In the second visit technicians said cooling problem observed on the next . This time Godrej Technicians told that the friger is leek .
but form that date to till date my problem is still .on this date they are saying that part is not on Stock It will come form Delhi,Faridabad of Mumbai.
but still there is not solution.

I talked Mr Nitin AM north He Said me that your frigde will reprair by the day of Saturday 29 May 2010.If it will not done then we provide you new Refrigerator.

I am struggling since last 20 Days to repair the fridge. If manufacturing company’s service centre can not rectify the problem than I don’t know who else will be able to rectify it.

Godrej/Refrigerator — NO COOLING

Kinldy do the needful as soon as.
We had bought Godrej Frostfree 2 door refrigerator in Jan 2001. For 9 years we have luckily had no problems, except minor wear and tear replacements and found the Bangalore service centre prompt and precise in their services.

3 weeks back we shifted to Ahmedabad and since coming here we observed less cooling which we initially attributed to change in climatic conditions. But when food started spoiling, we lodged a complaint (no. 782189). Technician visited on 20th July 2010 and after due testing collected an advance payment of Rs. 1200/-.

We were advised this was for compressor testing. If compressor was found defective then replacement cost would be Rs. 3600/- (Rs. 1200/- to be adjusted and only balance to be paid). If compressor was ok then only gas filling would be required (optional), total cost of which is Rs. 1200 (already collected). If we didnt want even gas to be refilled, Rs. 1000/- would be refunded and only Rs. 200 retained as service charge.


On 23 July 2010, another technician visits and after testing compressor, advises us that it working FINE and only gas filling is required. So we go ahead with the gas refilling.

By evening we observe that cooling has drastically reduced and we call local service centre. They advise us to wait for 24 hours.

On 24th July 2010, we call them again and inform that cooling was even lesser than prior to refilling gas. They promise to send someone to check at earliest. noone comes on 24-25th july.

On 26th July 2010, we file a fresh complaint with toll free number (complaint no. 784293). The 1st technician comes and checks cooling and says there is problem with gas refilling. There is moisture in it, so it will be redone.

2nd technician comes back for gas refilling and when he open up the fridge again, he informs us that there is now problem with compressor (!!!), pumping is not happening.

We fail to understand why this was not diagnosed initially? His justification is that it was pumping OK when he tested on 23rd July. Also when we questioned him why colloing has reduced even more, his reply is that type of gas refilled is different than what was used earlier and this gives less cooling !!!!!

So is Godrej company ripping off people by using inferior quality of gas?

Also, now we are been pressurised into paying additional Rs. 3600/- (so our total cost is 1200+3600). If the technician had tested properly, it would have saved us not only rs. 1200 but also lot of agony of living without refrigerator in Ahmedabad heat.

Is there anyone who can address this issue?

Reference above undersigned wishes to draw your kind attention towards following facts for your kind favour.

• That the above refrigerator GDPV5193T shell wine red was purchased by undersigned on 21/11/2010 towards dowry article to be gifted to my daughter on her marriage date 29/11/2010.
• That a no. of other articles were also purchased vide Inv. S/KN-1347 dated 21/11/2010 VIZ. Samsung LCD LA-32C350DI, Samsung Washing Machine WT-9205, Samsung WRAC AW181QAE & Timex Men’s Watch for the purpose.
• The performance of all other article was found satisfactory except the above Refrigerator which is not functioning at all since very first day it was put into service.
• Since it was a dowry article it defaced the image of my daughter at her in laws in the very first instance. It is presumed by them as if some old, junk & used article was conferred upper them by us.
• Godrej Technician visited my daughter’s residence 89 Sunder Puri, Main Market, Ghaziabad, Near Railway Station twice till date & ultimately declared that compressor was faulty & it required immediately replacement.
• I have lost my faith & interest in Godrej Permanently as the company has no effective quality control on its equipments & articles displayed in its show room.
• As such it is requested that either this refrigerator be replaced with immediate effect or else the money spent by me on this defective article be returned back to me lest, I shall be bound to seek help from Consumer Disputes Redressal forum for bestowing me justice.

I am Vinod Sharma from Jaipur bought a Refrigerator from Godrej on dated 30.09.2011.Model No.GDE26B1 CUSTOMER NO.30089J.From the delivery time it works for 2 hrs then the cooling stop.I call to sales manager & sales boy many time .they only said that engineer is coming .I also submitted the complain in customer care center of Godrej Tel.[protected] call no.[protected] .The reply only came that will send the engineer but last 6 days no body came .Now the sales person ignoring my call also.

The Refrigerator was not functioning from Sunday, a complaint was lodged K[protected] on monday on 9th Sep 2013 and on that day service engineer inspected and informed that gas will have to refilled and the gas will be refilled by another person in the refrigerator within two days i.e., 10 th and 11 th. Then I contacted with customer care on 10 th afternoon around 5 p.m. and informed me that the gas will be charged on 11 th probably between 11 to 3 p.m. So, I have to take leave from my service today (11th Sept). But now, today around 12.p.m., they are informing me that it will not be possible to refill the gas. I think it is ridiculous as the working day of my is lost.
So, I think to it is necessary to think how to serve the customer. I must admit the service is very poor and particularly the timing, why not after 5 p.m., then I or my family members will not have to take leave.

sir i am rajeswararao velaga from visakhapatnam andhraparadesh..i have bought godrej penta cool refrigerator from authorised show room in the year 2006..i have once got it repaired once 2 years back by replacing mother board from ur service support as it is not effective in cooling by spending rs.4/5 thousands.Now i am again facing the same problem once again and complained to customer care and the same was registered call no.[protected] on dt/[protected] and another call no.[protected] dt/[protected] but in vain...there is no response from the service centre till today..i have reported one mr.ravindra of vijayawada godrej service official through his mobile [protected] though he has promised to supply the circuit board which is not available in visakhapatnam 2 months back, he has failed to do so till today.i have put him an another message thru whats up recently requesting to do the needful at least belated..but there is no resonse as of now...it is so unfortunate for such a reputed company like godrej ignoring the complaints of the valuable customers...pl respond to retain the confidence of the people...

    Dear Sir / Madam
    I bought this Ref. on 30 / 04 / 08 (Book No. 27, S.No 1303) from Rhythm House from Sector 18, NOIDA.
    Being a Professor from JSS Acaademy of Technical Education, NOIDA, I recommended most of my staff members to buy products of Godrej from NOIDA.,
    But to my knowledge, the product that i bought Model No. GDN 1800 (Gray), has some defect, i ask for exchange for which he ignored.

    Now Iam frustrated with this product, this is the fourth time in a row that Iam in trouble for the SAME PROBLEM. Every year Rs.1500/- plus others is the bill.

    Very interesting part is that My Grandfather and Mr. Godreg studied in the same college in Bombay. unfortunately both are in Heaven.
    The only thing is get the Technician from the Bombay company with my expenses OR throw this product in the dustbin and the very critical is that I will give NEGATIVE feedback / STOP if any one of colleagues ask for the product to buy from NOIDA.

      Purchased a fridge 3 yrs before with extended 5 yrs warranty.

      I made a service request for the complaint in Inner ice tray damage, couple days before (10th Mar, 2012). Service executive came today, asking 3800 rupees to replace the complete unit.

      I got a doubt and call to his boss Rajagopal (Service Agent), He said that it is the charge for extended warranty for two years and the amount to replace that damaged part :)

      Though 5 yrs of warranty is not completed, he was asking for the one more warranty charge.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      In the universe Godrej is the one and only company asking two AMC charges for the same period.

      At top of it, he was cornering as to pay inspection charges 250. Got the 250 Rs and flee.

              I have been facing problem in godrej refrigerator ever since i purchased it in 2004.
              Recently there was a problem in cooling. There was no cooling. I lodged complaint in May'09 and the compalint no. is 619332. The technician visited on 11.6.09 and said that some parts will be replaced. He replaced the same and total amount was Rs. 1650.00 under receipt no. 2483 and 2484 of authorised service centre Sugam services, jaipur. Within 24 hours the same problem happened. we called almost daily to the service centre and they keep on saying we are sending technician. Then in July'09 the technician again visited and told that we should take the refrigerator to their service centre as the fault will be solved there only. They are not ready to explain that for what parts they have charged Rs. 1650.00 and the refrigerator still not in working condition.
              I am facing problem in Godrej Refrigerator since I purchased it on 03.07.09. After so many phone calls to the dealer (Next Retail Shop. Lajpat Nagar II) I got the complain No 205509. There is very less or little cooling, recently there was a complain of No cooling or non cooling. The complain locked for less cooling.
              1st Time technician visited he doesn’t do anything and left the home without giving any satisfactory answer.
              2nd time on 01.08.09, he told me that there is a fan problem in your freezer I don’t have fan now I will come tomorrow and change the fan.
              3nd time on 03.08.09 he came but there is power cut that time so he just take my father signature and left home.
              4th time visit some another technician visited and he told me that fan is working fine but there is a problem in relay and may be in timer I don’t have these things now I will change it on next visit.

              What is this if after 3-4 visit Godrej Technician are not able to resolve the problem of cooling in New Refrigerator then they must change the Refrigerator instead of replacing the part or repair the Refrigerator.
              I have purchased my 165 ltr. refrigrator in 1990 and it is in good working condition.I want to change inside Rubber gasket I request you to inform me the address from where i will get original gasket
              of godraj .

                  On 5-5-2009 I paid rs.2316/- towards 2year service contract for maintenance of the refrigerator with godrej smart care. During the contract period nobody attended for maintainance .Again on[protected] the said company sales representative Mr. Siva(cell no:[protected]) assured good service and put Vinod(BDM) on the line and assured my grievance of maintenance will be taken care provided if the same is renewed for another period of two years. Basing up on the assurance given by them I paid rs.2032/- on[protected] renewing the contract for another period of two years. After payment I requested so many times to Mr. Siva to take care of the maintainace as promised but till today nobody has turned up .                         I purchased one Godrej Refrigerator on 7th January 2011 from M/s Aditya Agency, Malleshpalya main road, New Thippasandra post, Bangalore 75. Since the very begining the refrigerator is giving problem and it stops automatically. For the past one week it is completely down. I am contacting M/s Aditya Agency continuously and they are telling a lie every day that engineer would be send tomorrow. Even today I called up 4 times since morning and I was told that engineer would attend today at around 2.30pm. When he didnot attend, I called up again and was told the same story that engineer would come tomorrow. When I insisted that the engineer be sent today itself and not to repeat the story everyday, they just hang up the phone. I want the company to replace the refrigerator since it is under 1 year warranty and I want a refrigerator from GODREJ that works. Secondly I want GODREJ company to take action against Aditya Agency for harrassing the customer and lying to them continuously.

                        Godrej Refrigerator — outlet water is not working

                        Dear Sir,
                        My Refrizerator Model No. GDA 26E S[censored]nit Sr. No.[protected] purchase on dt. 15.12.2007 from M/s Mahalaxmi Electronics, Maliwada Road, Junagadh. But on the very next month the Freez started creating number of problems and I had already informed on phone as well as orally to lyour dealer. My Service Call No. is 812217. When ever the mechanic visit my house, I have to pay Rs. 180/- as the visiting fee, but you should understand that the product you have sold is totally defective and what your dealer has told is not there. It is as under :

                        1) The above model was anti-corrosive for 10 years and on the next year, it started corroding. Then the painter from your company took the door and repainted but immediately after six months, the whole door and other steal parts get corroded. Pl. get me the above things corrected.

                        2) The defrost system does not work properly and the defrost water does not pass through outlets, but it is accumulated back of the Freez over Compressor and ultimately it is overflown over the electric terminals and creates short circuit problems thereby electric shock accidants. Moreover, as soon as we press the derost button, after one hour the continous flow of drops inside the Refrizerator over all milkcan, other matterials, vegetables and the whole Refrizerator becomes full of water. So every time at the time of Defrost, we have to pull the Refrizerator forward and remove the Tray from the compressor to exhaust it.
                        Now I am fed with the service, visiting charges and all the times your mechanics make experiments and never turn up for further problems. Secondly, the drops of water should not fall inside the Freez after defrost. Pl do not teach me any working methodology to use the Refrizerator as I had the same Refrizerator in my house for 23 years without any problem like this. It is requested for the last time to send your Engineer and find out the solution of water dropping inside the Freez and replace me the Door as it has totally corroded during the anti corrosive period of 10 years, failling in which I have to approach Hon.                         Dear Sir,
                        My Refrizerator Model No. GDA 26E S[censored]nit Sr. No.[protected] purchase on dt. 15.12.2007 from M/s Mahalaxmi Electronics, Maliwada Road, Junagadh. But on the very next month the Freez started creating number of problems and I had already informed on phone as well as orally to lyour dealer. My Service Call No. is 812217. When ever the mechanic visit my house, I have to pay Rs. 180/- as the visiting fee, but you should understand that the product you have sold is totally defective and what your dealer has told is not there. It is as under :

                        1) The above model was anti-corrosive for 10 years and on the next year, it started corroding. Then the painter from your company took the door and repainted but immediately after six months, the whole door and other steal parts get corroded. Pl. get me the above things corrected.

                        2) The defrost system does not work properly and the defrost water does not pass through outlets, but it is accumulated back of the Freez over Compressor and ultimately it is overflown over the electric terminals and creates short circuit problems thereby electric shock accidants. Moreover, as soon as we press the derost button, after one hour the continous flow of drops inside the Refrizerator over all milkcan, other matterials, vegetables and the whole Refrizerator becomes full of water. So every time at the time of Defrost, we have to pull the Refrizerator forward and remove the Tray from the compressor to exhaust it.
                        Now I am fed with the service, visiting charges and all the times your mechanics make experiments and never turn up for further problems.                         The compressor was found faulty and it was replaced.
                        I am happy that the machine is working now.

                        Sincerely hope that "Aditya Agency" should know, that they cannot misguide customer by hide-and-seek manner.

                          I purchased godrej refrigerator 27/06/2004, model RF02132/auto fresh. Our problems started almost within 01month...with complaint low cooling, with poor after sale service of the company,had to resort to complaints direto thier mumbai corporate office,finaly
                          with change of electric parts etc...it started work not trouble free.than they offered AMC from 25/4/2006 to 24/04/2010 after payment of Rs.1486/-,but that too no help,with constant follow up etc...trouble every alternate month.After expiry,they refused for renewal of AMC,on complaint to Mumbai HQ,they called to inform that no more AMC for this particular Model.I fail to understand,if they cannot repair fully,why company like GODREJ is making such faulty machines which they donot understand the technology?
                          After that still our problem goes on every 2/3 months..it remains out of order for 3/4 days averege,just waiting for thier man/machenic to come and repairs.pay money every time.I hereby request to warn public in General to avoid Godgrej refrigerator now,it is no more the old Godrej Fridge,which use to run in household for genrations.It appears that greed-technology has taken over GODREJ-FAMILY from the FAME & NAME technology. Still today i am in follow up of my complaint since Fri/sat last...I was told Today the TECHNICIAN is busy in OFFICE-Meeting.
                          SO THIS IS GODREJ WAY OF SERVICE.

                              Godrej Refrigerator — Not working since a long time.

                              Hi,
                              I purchase one Godrej refrigerator on March 2008. But it is not getting cool. I complained several times about same issue But they just resolve the issue for few days. At the time of purchase, they gave me warrantee of Godrej refrigerator till 5 years. But today I am facing the problem and i called Godrej refrigerator customer care. They said we charging for Rs. 2000/- for gas refiling + visiting charges. I don't understand meaning of warrantee. If i have to pay for everything, what is use of warrantee?

                              I will highly appreciate you, if you can resolve the issue ASAP. because i am suffering a lot. Please suggest me for the same. waiting for your positive response.

                                We had bought a Godrej Pentacool fridge in 2006. They had given a rust-free warranty for 10 years. But hardly after a year or two, we could notice rust on the bottom of the door. We rang up the company many times but they would keep asking us to call a different number and kept on playing passing-the-parcel game.

                                A month back, we could finally get some response from the company. But they are now saying that they don't have the model anymore and so cannot replace the door.

                                Is this expected from a reputable company like Godrej? When they have given a warranty of 10 years, should they not do something about it.

                                We are thoroughly frustrated with the company and would never recommend anyone to buy a fridge from them.

                                I had posted this complaint long back and had thought that writing in this forum will help me to get justice. But there has been no follow up till date. What is the use of this forum if there is no use in posting here. The authorities should at least have the interest to do something about it or try to talk with us to find out if they can do something.

                                Shame on Godrej! Is this how you manage your customers and give service?

                                I am left with no option but to go to the consumer courts to get justice.

                                  As I found that there was no cooling in my fridge on july 4,2011, I complained on Godrej no.[protected](Complaint no.205353). On july 5, 2011 a technician visited my home, repaired and charged Rs. 350.00 for service and Rs. 600.00 for a part, Timer. On the following days, the problem retained, I again called up the same number on consecutive days again my complaint was registered with no 208603. Again another technician visited on July 9,2011 but without providing any remedy, he told to visit again.
                                  Since then we are waiting. On July 10,11,12,and 13 I called up the numbers [protected] and [protected] four to five times every day. Every time they promised to treat my complaint as "URGENT" as send the senior technician as soon as possible. Despite paying RS. 950.00 for the repair of my fridge, I am be-fooled, cheated by the company. Waiting is endless. It is getting difficult to carry on without functional fridge in such a humid and rotting hot season. Meanwhile all my food stuff has been spoiled. Who will pay for it ?

I wonder whether complaints are taken seriously or it is just waste of time for consumers. I hope Godrej keeps up to its title or 'Smartcare.

                                      we have purchased Godrej refrigerator from aurangabad. the Refrigerator started giving problems in functioning in month of april . complaint was given at toll free no of godrej .after giving continues complaint godrej service station provided delayed service .but that service of godrej was temporary service .only to complete the warranty period . again the complaint was given on 13 june2011 having complaint no 919185.no action was taken .and sms was rec showing that complaint was solved .the service station did not even called us and dirctly send an sms that problem was solved. again complaint was registered with toll free no of godrej .but till date no cognizances was taken . now a there is no other option left but to nock the doors of consumer forum
