[Resolved] Hcl Infosystems - Toshiba E - Studio 165 — Arbitrary change of sale terms after sale | |
We have bought a TOSHIBA E-STUDIO 165 from HCL INFOSYSTEMS, Chennai through their sales agent Mr. Senthamil Selvan. The Terms agreed where + warranty to be 3 months or 50, 000 copies + AMC to be 40 paise per copy (all parts and consumables incl) From the above the understanding is clear that the payment of 40 paise per copy shall be after the completion of warranty period. However now HCL Infosystems have changed there stand unilateraly and says we need to pay the 40 paise per page rate right from the first day. In these circumstance we fail to understand what does the term Warranty mean, if they are charging you for the comprehensive warranty of 40 paise per copy right from the first day. It is difficult to believe that a Company like HCL Infosystems can actually go to this extent for a petty amount of Rs. 20, 000/- I am sure never to trust HCL in future and will suggest all the rest also to be careful. The sales guys talk and assure anything and everything, but when it comes to delivering, it is not their forte. Was this information helpful? | |

For one visit, which was attended after a gap of 15 days the engineer was asking Rs.1500/- as visit charges to clear dirt & adjust the settings of my office E-20 studio photocopier. Buying tonner is a big problem only one dealer is available at Hyderabad - S K Marketing. He is asking Rs. 7600/- plus 12.5% VAT for the same. Its a trap. Better watch out.
