Dear sir/madam, I bought a HCL laptop from new delhi 2 years ago. now i find my CD writer can not write when i used nero which was provided to me with the laptop.Earlier i never tried to write anything. Whatever, i went to the service centre on[protected] at 203,bajaj house,nehru place,new delhi.They checked it and said CD writter is damaged. So ,it need to be replaced. As a new piece of Cd writter drive was not available with them ,so they asked me to come later after confirmation from Miss Jasbeer.They charged me Rs 500, but did not give me the receipt as the concerned official had already left.After 10 days one of my friend having some knowledge of computers came to me . He checked my system and told me your writer is alright, nero will not work. You try with other software. I tried with XP inbuilt Cd writing system and found everything is fine. So, my complaint to you is about- 1. Inefficiency of your people. 2. If you receive money ,then give receipt. As i am not at fault, why should i pay for? Coming again to collect it is wastage of both time and petrol. Please try to increase the knowledge of your people as HCL Laptops are yet to become a consumers 1st choice. I am using hcl with win xp 1 GB RAM and 160 HD, one month befor my laptop got shut down because of battery discharged and then when started it was dead slow. I am using net protector antivirus.

HCL Laptop — touch pad not working
i'm purchased hcl laptop just a month back and from the day 1 touch pad is not working i'm complaining in the call centre,but nobody is responding,i'm looking 4-5 more laptops.pls take some action.Thanks & Regards,

Its not only about not able to find dealer but HCL laptops available in Nepal seem to be of sub standard as other laptops work for atleast 5 - 6 years while we already have stock of 3 damaged pieces out of 6 we bought from previous local agent
i have this hcl laptop of n38 series and the worst thing i know about this laptop is it gets heated up too fast and shuts down automatically apart from dat, i was updating driver softwares, was updating hcl bios, suddenly it got heated nd hanged, i switched it off and kept it for cooling, after an hour so, i tried to start this laptop, but found what, nuthin is coming on my screen, i tried it many tyms bt my pc is not getting started, only the light blinks nd i see nuthin on my screen.
what shud i do, now.

what is the solution of this problem?

HI,I AM AMILAL. I AM HAVING A LAPTOP HCL ME (XP). MY LAPTOP IS BEING HANG TOTALY, EVEN I CANT OPEN A SHOT FILE WITCH IS SAVED ON THE DEKSTOP.

HCL Laptop — Negligence of customer support
I have given my HCL Notebook model laptop since 2 months and at service station at sahid-nagar bhubaneswar and every time i visit them these people say part is not available.My lappy is in warranty but these people are insisting me to give another 15-20 thousand and buy a new laptop in exchange of that i just want to ask you friends when we have paid so much money to buy a thing and within a year or two due to company's fault why should we spend such a huge amount again.I would request higher authorities of HCL to kindly verify my problem within a day or two or else i shall go for consumer court to seek its help.
