[Resolved] HCL Me Tablet — battery not charging

I have purchased HCL me netbook with sl no. 9101AE193270 on 6th Nov 2010. The battery is not charging. It has been informed to HCL service centre. They said the battery is not working and will send new one. Whenever we ask, we have demanded it will come. When we ask the customercare they tell to call[protected]. Nobody attends and if attends most of them drops the call unanswered.

It is very pathetic. I should know when they will be able to replace the battery.

Hi,

maybe you should try to heat the battery a little bit. Sometimes when I faced same problem I become very worried but then I heat the battery a lil bit on gas and it work well.

You should heat the plain side since other side the plastic sticker may gets melted and numbers are lost.

Also, you should try shaking the laptop vigorously since sometimes some loose connection is there and get fix when you shake shake hard.

Their toll free number is full of and they will abuse you if you keep calling again and again.
