[Resolved] HDFC Bank — Delay in Payment

Dear Sir / Mem,
I Nirmal Choudhary, Age 27 Yrs, residing at D-5, 212, Gorai-2 Borivali (W), Mumbai -92 since last 1 year. I have credit card account with HDFC Bank (Credit Card No. [protected]) in Andheri Branch – Mumbai.
I got credit card bill amount Rs. 43643 on date 16th Dec. 07 (Due date will be 11th Jan 08). I drop a cheque amount Rs 43643 on date 2nd of Jan 08 to HDFC Bank in Aurangabad Branch and this cheque not cleared till date i.e. 10/01/08 . I am constantly following HDFC Bank Andheri branch regarding my cheque clearance but they are not able to give me any sufficient reason for delaying in my cheque clearance.
On date 09/01/08 I got call from Credit Card Customer care & they informed me that my credit card bill amount increased from Rs 43643 to Rs 44370 due to delay in payment.
I request you to please have a look on above issue and take strict action against the concerned person
I also request to HDFC Bank to deduct the extra amount that is Rs 674.56 (Rs 43643 - Rs44370) charges on me due to delay in Payment because this delay occur only because of HDFC Bank.
