Dear Sir/Madam,

I am Dipmala,using credit card of HDFC Bank.I have not Payed the payment of october-2009.Collection Department of Bangalore,Richmond circle Branch,employee named Kalpana is threatning me to to give the payment by29th-Nov-09,before 5 PM.As i told her to collect a check of total due Payment for the Month of oct & Nov 2009 for the date of 1st dec 2009.Kalpana is behaving very rude and forcing me for the Payment.She is using different rough language & entertaining in personal things.

Please,do the needfull,Kalpana is really Harrashing by calling agaain & again.I am ready for the Payment for the date of 1st Dec 09,as i have not yet received the salary.
She should know how to behave with a customer.Beacuse of her monthly target she forget to repect the customer.

Credit Card — Disgraceful Employees

Past 3 weeks I am calling to know the status of my application, but so far they are still not able to track my record. Everytime i call them they says "our system are down, kindly call us later" its a pathetic customer service.

I WANT AN ASSISTANCE AND WOULD APPRECIATE IF I GET A CALL FROM BARCLAYS WITHIN NEXT 24 HRS.
HDFC Bank is the worst bank to start with. If a payment on credit card is delayed then interest charges and penalty charges are levied and that's what the procedure is with other bank's credit card that i use. HDFC sent my data to some collection agency and i receive at least 20 calls on my mobile and home land line threatening to make the payments. They are highly illiterate people, abuse on calls and threaten to send someone at my place.
I called HDFC requesting to stop these calls, i was informed that i will not get any more calls but they called me on sunday atleast 50 times. Highly disgraceful, a warning for everyone, do not take HDFC credit card, if you hold one, cancel it if you can.

HDFC is one of the bloody suckers bank. I hold a credit card on 2008 from Delhi and made payment as well from my hometown Kolkata. Now after 3 years all of a sudden these suckers wake up and threatening me and my parents, giving calls to the landline and mobile, that a sum of 58, 000 has been due and i have to pay that. I agree with Dipmala and Siddharth that please cancel HDFC credit cards as they could be life threatening element for the future as well. The executives are illiterate, and have no respect and they even abuse my neighbours and my family. Instead of saying Madam or Ma'am, this Kalpana is calling me as Mem Mem..and her hindi is like a village uneducated woman. Please stop abusing public's life. If God forbids same thing happens in their life then they will get to know the reality. God knows what will be the solution.

    I applied for a HDFC Bank International Credit Card and my reference no. is [protected]N1, but I have informed by the HDFC Bank that my name is in CIBIL's defaulters list. I don't have any defaulted payment in my name. Just I want to know who made this complaint to CIBIL so as to contact the person to rectify the same.
    you are the lucky person on earth, if you got the credit card they would have squeezed every thing out of your salary and harassed you like any thing, yo are lucky man you got rejected, the real pain is for those who got the card

      Hi

      I am using HDFC credit card from April 2008. I have paid charges always.
      My credit card limit was 25000 which has been declined to Rs20000 without any notice.
      i want clarification for the same.
      And i am usng the card since apr 2008, more then 1.5 year and instead of increasing the limit it has been dereased to 20000.
      I wanted to do some shopping and now i am not able to do that because i dn have credit limit.

      Hi,

      I recieved a call from HDFC Customer rep informing that you have been one of the few special ppl who have been offered a platinum credict card. They told the offers their card as and asked the limit I have on other cards, I told I had 1.6 lakhs and the rep responded that i will be provided with a much higher limit than 1.6 lakhs. When asked the rep promised that i would get a minimum of 3 lakhs and she will make a note on the application form.

      I received the card and was given 1.5 lakhs, when lodged a complaint with the HDFC Customer care department they told that i will get a call from someone regarding it...its been well over 2 weeks and when called the customer care they have told that they have tried reaching me and was not able to reach...

      I have called the customer care again asking the status they told that it cannot be increased and if needed i could cancel the card by sending a written letter to HDFC cards.

      Wasted time talking to the rep., submitting documents, lodging a complaint with them...poor service and wrong expectation by the bank.

        The complaint is simple. No bills received from HDFC Bank. After three months, they claim there is a due pending, I request them to hold on for a few days, post which non-HDFC employees threaten me with abusive language, and ask me to come to places (which are not HDFC Bank) to settle the matter.

        The refuse to acknowledge this action on mail and yet continue on such behaviour undeterred. The individuals in concern are as follows:

        Meena Tourani (HDFC Bank) - Continues to use abusive language by calling me a 'Dog', @#$% and more. Some of the language used is very derogatory.

        Vijay (refuses to mention where he is from) - bearing cellphone number - +[protected] Uses the dirtiest language possible in Kannada. One wonders how he's gotten so creative with them - have it on recorded audio.

        Suresh (supposedly HDFC Bank) - Screams, howls and abuses over the phone.

        Quite simply, my complaint is that I don't have to pay any fees, interest, charges to this bank when their service is abusive in nature. Would prefer to take a legal course of action from hear on.

        Sub: Complaint Against HDFC Bank Credit Card Nuisance

        Reference : HDFC BANK CREDIT CARD NO: [protected].


        Dear Sir,


        I regret to inform you and for your kind notice that I was holding and HDFC Bank Credit Card vide no: [protected]. In that card, my credit limit was Rs.2, 38, 000/- and after that Bank has revised and reduced the Credit Limit from Rs.2, 38, 000/- to Rs.1, 77, 000/-. I have used my Credit Limit and I have already paid Rs.2, 77, 371/- against my Card as per their statement dated 17.03.2010. I had no outstanding against my Card. Only some Interest Charges were Lying in my Card.

        On that basis, I have requested to Bank to settle and convert my some Interest dues amount sympathetically in to fresh simple EMI after reversing all the Late fees, Extra Interest Charges and the unnecessary fees charged by the Bank Intentionally. Due to my tremendous financial problem, I was not in position to submit my children’s school fees and house rent also which already I had discussed this matter frequently to their customer care executive over phone & at least 14 to 15th times and sent 14th to 15th frequent reminder letters also.

        If you see the Receipts & Payments A/c of my Card, from beginning to end then you can easily observe that, I have made already over and excess payment against my used amount through card. If you see my accounts I have already paid the excess amount which the money I have used through Card. If the bank waive my unjustified Interest and Late fees, then nothing outstanding will be pending against my card. Which amount I have used against my Credit Card, Out of that, I have made excess payment against my used amount.

        Being a preferred customer for long time, I have changed my address, phone no etc honestly. As a result of which, their Recovery agency/goons have started to hassle me mentally and also my wife, not only that, they also used abusive and very rough language over phone and came to my office and insulted me in the front of everybody with very abusive and slang language and told me to make the payment immediately, otherwise they will attack me and my family with their team and told me that, they will thrash me in the front of my society and also told me that they will abolish me from my job. I am a very simple Private Company’s employee and simple middle class family. That incident happened for last 5 to 6 months. After completion of their mental and physical harassments, HDFC Bank has sent the Legal court notice to my address. I am a very simple and middle class family member and a very simple employee of a private company. Bank continuously pressurized me to take the credit card.

        Trying to claim huge amount intentionally from customer, that is the practice of HDFC bank .Please tell me, Is it a Reputed Bank ???

        My Credit Limit was Rs.1, 77, 000/- and I have paid Rs.2, 77, 371/-. If my intention was bad then, why I will make the payment for Rs.2, 77, 371/-. Their Intention is how to raise the Interest amount and late fees unnecessary and pressurize to customer mentally. Trying to claim huge amount intentionally from customer, that is the practice of HDFC bank . Is it a Reputed Bank ???

        Due the tremendous mental harassment to me and my family, My wife is not well and she also feels very insecurity. Please help me and my family from HDFC Bank’s Credit Card nuisance.

          In 2007, one business executive of HDFC bank comes to my home and tell me that if you are interested we are offering FD and they are attached with many other services. In fact, at that time, I was looking for locker facility and I sad yes. A classic account was opened at the Seven Bunglows Branch of this esteemed Bank in Andheri (W) of Mumbai. The same man came with an other offer that they will give me a Credit Card linked with this FD and saving account. I was a fool to accept it. That is what I have realised after 2 years. I used to pay all my payments regularly. But in the month of April 09 and October 09 there were some delays and I was even paying their penal charges and interests. Then the abuse started. The staff of theirs are so mannerless and abusive that one will imagine how a woman can talk all these filthy streetwala abuses. They started calling my parents who are above 80 years and on two occassions abused them and asked them to pay up on behalf of me. They should be ashamed of this or i assume that this would be their culture or work culture taught by HDFC bank
          I was tired of all this and when i could not take any more, I approached the seven bunglow branch on 23/11/09 with an application that I wanted to terminate my FD of One Lakh Rupee. They told me that it will be done within 6 working hours. I issued a cheque to close the Credit Card acount and to my horror I found that it got bounced. Again I went to the branch on 24/11/09 and when asked why the amount was not credited to my account. Then came the reply that they had created a lien on my FD and I will have to clear the credit card amount first and then only I can get my FD. When I told them that they can easily appropriate my FD and give me the balance amount. They started calling here and there and after 2 hours sitting there gave an assurance that it will be done. The abusive calls continued on 24/11 till 26/11 and even the caller threatened me that your FD of One Lakh will be seized. I am still wondering whether a staff from the Bank can talk in this manner who have provided them business two years back and whose money is till lying with them.Till 26/11/09 at 3.30 pm I have not received a response on the state of FD and the time when I will get it. How does a A bank which promises to deliver the goods in 6 hours can take more than 96 hours. Being a widow, I am being subjected to such mental trauma, that I dont know what to do with myself. Does I am paying a price for opening an account with HDFC bank and made to suffer

            Receiving the phone call from no.66219091 & 43145000 your lady caller talking like Nonsense (calling me Katwa, eat the pig meat)

            Some one told me that all the call are recorded

            Please checked the call on mobile no.[protected] dated 12.11.09 and Privies calls ?

            You are requested to take some action on that matter ??

            Also

            They are calling my office daily more then 15 to 20 time and disturbing my office staff saying me (katwa.)and now thaings is like that in my office no one truste me and my boss asked my staff not to give any cash to me or not pay any advanced ???

              Hi

              This is Girish, bought a bike in August 2009 thru HDFC loan. I had agreed to pay EMI thru ECS. in 2nd month, ie. in october 2009, HDFC person called me & told my cheque got bounced because of insufficient amount in the account, but in my account more than the required amount was there. Also the strange thing is how can the cheque bounce back in ECS? But in my pass book it was showing that the amount(EMI) was deducted on the 6th october which was the stipulated date. Apart from this, they again deducted EMI in same month for the second time. When i enquired, they told it was deducted only once even after i showed them it was deducted twice.

              Still my problem is not solved & i hav never seen such a bad service from banking. I feel HDFC is providing a very worst service for their customers.

              can anybody help me in this matter to get back my EMI which was paid extra?

                Hello,
                this is Girish who bought Honda Shine bike in August 2009 thru' HDFC loan. I agreed for ECS to pay EMI. In october 2009, two EMI's were deducted and its entry is there in my pass book. Even then HDFC people are telling they have not received the amount for two times, but for only once. I have produced all the proof for the same & still it is not rectified. its a very worst banking service i had ever come across.

                I request thru' this, the concerned person to help me in this matter to get back the extra amount deducted.

                  I have settled my credit card account 2 years back by paying 25000 in cash, however I have been recently informed by other credit card company that they cannot offer me card because my payments are pending with HDFC and my name is listed as defaulter with CIBIL. HDFC people also informed that the payments are not made. I have settlement letter which I got from the executive who came from HDFC. I made the cash payment for settlement because I was getting threat call on a daily basis. If HDFC do not have my 25000, where are the same and who is responsible. After making the payment, I informed their customer service as well. Please advise how to get this correct in CIBIL.

                    I had car loan from HDFC bank, after 2 years of now i got transferred to Pune and wanted to transfer my car to my home town, For RTO transfer NOC, I need NOC form 35 from bank as my car is hypothecated. Hence i applied for loan foreclosure.
                    It took them one week to approve the request, no was no confirmation received i had to go every other day to enquire.
                    No after 15 they will send the NOC.
                    So total of 22 days.
                    While the loan was granted in less than 1 week

                    How do we get them expedite the process
                    --------
                    There are no SLAs
                    No accountability
                    Each retail branch have to own prerogative
                    For each service they charge Rs500 like change in address

                    i had taken an used car loan from hdfc bank on 2010 and i want to close the same as i got transfered to delhi and i have asigned to mr manish singh to close the sais accoun but no body is going to close for the same at hdfc car loan division.

                    I really being disturb and now onwards i am not able to pay the emi for it .

                    Pls suggest in this regard

                      What kind of charges were drawn dated on 05/05/11 & 19/09/11 & 03/11/11 & 06/02/11 total is 2135 Rs.
                      The above amount for credit card was deducted from my bank account.
                      Please reply me & credit that amount back in my HDFC bank account.
                      Otherwise I will sent the message with my account details to Reserve bank of India (RBI) as well as I will go to Grahak Suraksha Kendra.

                        I am having 200 shares of hdfc bank ltd in the joint names of neela venkatesan and j badrinarayanan and the shares are held in demat format under account no. 20007075 vide INE040A01018 with INDIAN OVERSEAS BANK DEPOSITORY SERVICES (IN302437). I have not received dividend for the year ended 31.03.2009. I was staying at Nagapattinam till June 2009 and have moved over to Chennai in July 2009. The shares have now been transferred to NEELA VENKATESAN AND M S VENKATESAN under 20004956 with the same depository participant. I request you to look into the matter and arrange for payment of dividend.

                          dear sir .i have a two wheeler loan from your esteemed bank.my loan account is 15287848 and dsa no.is 21292.i have taken bike from focuz biwheelers, panambilly nagar cochin 36.my bike no.is kl7 bl 5685.and my name is anilkumar.asper our agreement they told me that your each months instalment of rs1516.00 would be collected from my bank through ecs system.but this month one executive sudheesh from chennai .due to some technical reason your instalment can not be collected so make your payment by cash.i agreed but can give only by cheque .but they insisted me so badly they want ready cash other wise your name will go to cibil .any way i made pay payment.my questin is you told me my collection is by ecs.should i give ready cash in coming months?i approched my bank they replied me that they didint ive mandatory form.only then they will be able to enable ecs.i contacted the respective executive of hdfc in focuz his name is saleesh, he replied me that is none of our business, if you want you only do tha needful to enable ecs.as am out of station ican not do soon.you are already taken service charges from me to do all these thinkgs.i have no time to spend to enable ecs and attend your calls.i humbly request you that either u enable my ecs.or collect thru cheques.kindly do the needful anil ph[protected]

                          The HDFC bank 2 wheeler loan customer service executives are pathetic .

                          I have applied for 2 wheeler loans and from HDFC bank being an excisting customer bank given me the approval without any issues giving me a good finance scheme. But after 2 week also my loan process is still going on, from the day 1 I am following the HDFC customer executive guy from the loan department he doesn’t even have curtsey to call me back and give me the status .
                          For document collection also I have call the executive to meet me and collect the document

                          It seems that HDFC bank having lot many of customers in Queue so they are not taking much burden for new customers

                          I brought passion in 2007 with HDFC finance (12 months period) in Chennai. Show room was Reliance Motar Pvt. Ltd (Near to Spencer).

                          Now it was shifted to some other location due to the Metro rail construction works...

                          Now the problem is I forgot to collect the RC book after the loan clearance now i dont know how to get my RC book.

                          I heard that once the loan was closed RC book will be delivered to respective show room.

                          I can only produce vehile no, engine no, and chasis no. dont have loan details.

                            Recently I took Personal Loan from HDFC for an amount of 100000.00 rs and the executive who (Sana ,Nafisa and another male person orget the name ) was co-ordinating with me for the relevant process ,during that they committed to me that insurance will be given waiver after approval of loan so i signed the documents and now when money disburse to my account i found 1271.00 rs was cut for the insurance.

                            my request to consumer forum that the same amount should get from HDFC bank and the same cheating case should not happen with the other people.

                            they have not disbursed amount til and EMI has been started.
                            Even when i called on executive number they have not picked up call and not proper response.

                              I had applied for personal loan as FYI 2 Nov 2009. I have received Ref No: 15688484 but I have not received the loan amount or further confirmation yet. I have been trying to contact your customer care for no use.

                              I[censored] unable to arrange loan why u have alloted me the loan reference no ?

                              I have been disappointed with your customer care serivce.

                              Sort out this issue at earliest and make me to go legal and claim for compensation which you dont want.

                              i applied for a personal loan in hdfc on septmber 1st from that day i am getting minimum 3 calls /per day ,finally agent came and collected the documents (salaryslip,id proof,address proof,bank statement),
                              then verification started .Verification over with in 2 days.On November 2 nd i got a message your loan is approved and status number also.up to till date they not credited my amount.I called the customer care 5 times,they told under processing,I applied for Rs75000 and i have a savings account in hdfc also.i dont know what this people is doing.May be i will get or not that is not an issue.if they are give on right time other wise reject it.My advice for all of you , if you are seriously need money with in 7 days, dont go for hdfc,with in 1 or 2 month only you required money then go for hdfc and with in that one month every day you will get minimum 2 calls/day.
                              This is AMAR GAJARE from Chennai working in HCL Technologies as SSE, Same thing now happening with me, the HDFC bank personal loan related persons which were in touch before are Sudha [protected] and Tamichelu [protected] from Chennai, the worst banking guys who just promisd to give loan in few days they took my all documents and verification also over but they never turned back.Actually I was in need of the personal loan

                                HI,
                                I had bought an FD worth Rs 2 Lacs from HDFC Deposits on 09/12/08.I had received a Deposit receipt.
                                To my surprise when I went to check my account after a year on 20/11/09 I found that the FD was done.On contacting I was informed the cheque that was given a year back had bounced.
                                It was a SBI cheque.
                                However till date I have communication from HDFC regarding the issue and so I believed I still owned the FD .The deposit rate was then 11.25% p.a and I had done the FD for 30 months.
                                Please let now how I can approach this.
                                I think HDFC is responsible for the loss.

                                HDFC is not responsible, as if the cheque bounced then it is not a fault of HDFC

                                Think like this, assume if you are the receiver(1st person) in place of HDFC and HDFC(2nd person) is the giver in place of you.

                                If amount is not received to 1st person by the 2nd person then 2nd person is responsible for not making payment.

                                HDFC has issued a credit of 2 Lakh FD on basis of cheque and the cheque bounced for whatever reason may be in that case they simply cancel the FD that is by rule.

                                  HDFC — Reg: Cheque bounce

                                  Dear Manager,

                                  Please be informed that I've given 2 cheques towards HSBC credit card payment.
                                  Cheque numbers: 531789 dated 31st May 2009 and 531790 dated 30th June 2009.
                                  The cheque number 531790 dated 30th June 2009 got cleared first on 1st
                                  June 2009. Why did this happen in the first instance?
                                  And then cheque number 531789 dated 31st May 2009 got cleared and I
                                  had insufficient funds in my account leading to a cheque bounce.
                                  Eventually both the debited amount got credited to my account. I was also charged 350 rupees for a mistake done by HDFC. Now HSBC bank is forcing me to explain the situation. This was not
                                  expected of HDFC.

                                  Please help me with this issue. I keep sending them 2-3 mails daily to get a reply once in a week that they are looking into this.

                                      I have an account with the bank. I was having a salary account. At the time of opening the account they assured that even I leave the company the account will remain as a salary account. I have left the company 3 yrs before and maintaining less balance in account for 3 yrs. This month without any intimation nor by giving any notice the bank has cut some charges called AQD 827.25 Rs. After talking to customer care I came to know that this is being debited because I didn't have minimum balance in the account. Such a new rule came in existence in one night, They overnight changed by salary account to normal account and demanding to keep minimum balance of 10000 Rs in account. They say that they have send letters on my old address, actually Its a bank's responsibility to inform me and to confirm whether I have received the information. Its totally unfair to my part to bear a loss of the amount. These people do have my email ID and phone number but then also they didn't call and that's why I haven't received any information.
                                      A call came from HDFC bank that they have mailed letters and that ends their responsibility. Thus I have been forced to highlight this to all. I am planning to close the account and will recommend my friends and relatives not to deal with HDFC. This is a kind of stealing money from the account.
                                      Can anybody help me to get this money back.

                                        I have taken an auto loan from HDFC Bank in the month of April, 2003 for Rs. 3,31,000 with the account No. 232571 and I was cleared the entrie loan amount and also got NOC from the bank and presently my vehicle was in my name only. But when I saw the crisit report of my personal account, I was surprised and shocked that the statement is showing the current balance of Rs. 1,39,835-00 and the last reported date was 31.01.2005. Why the bankers was not updating the account immediately. kinldy look into the matter immediately and settle the matter and update the account information to crisit and also send the same statemnt of account to my mail id immediately.
