[Resolved]  HFCL Connect — Service of poor quality

I am using HFCL connection firstly my phone[protected] was out of order for 12-15 days from 7th of September and I regularly approached your office/ registered my complaint but not got any right solution. Everytime your complaint cell executives are just making excuses without going to solve the problem. I want compensation of that period in which phone was out of order

Due to slow speed of connection I have upgraded from 444 to 666 plan. Your executive assures a speed of 150-500 kbps in 666 plan.
This is totally the company cheating with the customers by providing them with wrong info as I am not getting speed assured to me. When I discussed this with your client executive to revert back my plan to 444 on 1557 on dated 23/09/09 they told me that it is not possible now.

I want immediate solution in this regard, otherwise I have to approach District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Mohali and TRAI as I am not getting proper service and not getting satisfactory reply from any of your office representative.

Please make necessary & some urgent solution of this.

hi i am resident of patiala punjab and the broadband speed really sucks
customwe care tels to open pctools site and download any 2 softs to check speed which is good but other than that the speed really really sucks i feel like iam being cheated and ill get the phone disconnected

advice to others is stay away from connect and opt for bsnl if possible very very poor service HFCL
Agree with you boss we should sue them for cheating

HFCL Connect — Cheating by HFCL Connect

This complaint I tried to make to the company, but the address given by them failed to receive the same.

I have been cheated by your company. See How.

I was contacted by a person from sales department of your company at my residence. He asked me whether I wanted to get Broad Band Connection of your company installed at my residence. I told him that I was already using broadband connection of BSNL and I am very much satisfied with that. He told me that I should get service of your company as you will be giving Unlimited downloading in Rs. 555/- per month and that too at higher speed. I confirmed from him a number of times about speed of down-loading. He assured me about higher speed. Allured by his false claims and promises because of your bull- training and the kinda stuff I got the broad band connection installed on[protected]. I received shock when I found out that the down loading speed of the connection was timidly low at 2.3 to 2.4 kbps. When I called up your customer care at 1920 they asked me to give a ring at 1557. I contacted you engineering section at 1557 and told them about the heaps and mountains of the false promises of higher speed then he asked me to open site " pc tools" and one more site " something like microsoft" and asked me download stuff their. The speed shown was 12 kbps. But when I told them that I do not have to down load every thing and everytime from this particular site specially earmarked by cunning people like you to justify the false and escalated manyfold claims of your company, then they told that they can not do anything more than this. From every other site I am getting downloading speed as timid and as meagre as 1.4 kbps to 3 kbps. I was happy with 1.5 GB downloading from BSNL where I was getting a ROARING speed of even more than 200 kbps. Allured by your company that why should I be stuck in only 1.5 GB from BSNL, rather I should enjoy unlimited downloading from your connection. I can tell you that if I keep my computer powered on continuouly and the continuous downloading also on even then 1.5 GB of data can not be downloaded even in 3 months. This is how you are cheating customers like me. And when I on the next day i.e. on[protected] contacted your customer care and told then that I do not want to retain your connection and want to get rid of same, then your staff had no explanation to the same. I told them that your sales department makes false claims and the technical wing shows ignorance about that and their inability to anything. I was told that my concern would be forwarded to the higher authorities, but I know for sure that the same is not going to give any respite or solve my problem. WhenI told the customer care that I want to get my connection terminated immediately. I was told by the rude and discouteous staff of your company that I should visit your local office, make an application for disconnection. I am unable to imbibe if connection can be got installed without me ever visiting your office then why the same can not be disconnected on my intimation on mail or through FAX. Keep that cheating on and I am sure your company is going to meet its doom day very shortly.

I aggree with Mr. Satyander Goswami's complaint regarding the reply given by the customer care. The down loading speed is never exceeding more than 4 kbps and customer care ask to down load data from the pctools only to show the speed but there also they try to fool the customer regarding the speed. The CC rep say open two download and add the down load speed where as it remain same whether with one or two downloading (hovering between 6 to 9 kbps). The actual downloading speed is between .1 to 3 kbps which is not all acceptable. If it is not feasible to provide the requisite speed then plan should have been abolished.
Now there is need for serious look at the plan and to satisfy the users immidiatly.
