[Resolved]  Hindustan Times — Misbehavior conduct o[censored]r employee while complaining about bent, falling electricity pole.

I had an issue where one of the electricity pole in my residential area that got bent after being hit by a vehicle couple of months back. That pole is having four live wires and those wires are crossing from round-bout of sector 11, 10, 2, 3. I use that crossing every day and my other family members are also using that road. That being a pretty busy road, i felt like that i should complain and point out HT for this, so that HT could do something about it. Feeling that this being the right approach, I called up to Mr. Sanjeev Gupta having phone number [protected]. I got this number from HT only couple of months back in an advertisement in HT stating that if someone has some complaint can call at this number. I saved this number thinking that I might need this sometime later.

But, today when i called this person, I started with a good polite note, as I was not knowing who is on the other side. But to my surprise, this person started yelling at me stating that from where I got this number and how can I call him. I said that I am calling from chandigarh my name is this and then he started yelling at me with lot of bad words in couple of native languages. I am very disturbed and annoyed, I do not know what to do then I searched internet and got this board.

I just want this thing to come to your notice. I do not want any action regarding this person, but just if possible tell that person to be more polite to persons whom he do not know and have never seen. There could be an elderly person or some senior govt officer, could be some lady or some youngster who he was trying to teach those ugly bad words, in his own style.

This is really sad and bad for HT. They should conduct some mannerism classes for their employees.
i agree with the comment mentioned above. if the person concerned from HT is not in a habit o[censored]sing manned language, he should give his cell no. in the advertisement.
he should not have given his cell no. in the advertisement.
