I've paid ₹3000/- as Subscription amount for Hindustan Times newspaper and its been almost 2 months now that I am not receiving newspaper daily. The vendor delivers for 1-2 days and disappears for another 1 week. I've raised the compaint with the Area manager and online customer care and also on landline customer care too still no response and no solution has been provided.
If you all can't arrange a Vendor than why...

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my pending refund. Kindly note that there isn't a single vendor in my area willing to offer the service. Additionally, your area manager, Mr. Pravin Kale, has already been informed of this matter. Despite his efforts to persuade the vendor directly, he was unsuccessful as well.
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with your continued failure to provide the service I paid for and your complete lack of response to my previous emails. Despite multiple attempts to reach out, I have yet to receive any acknowledgment or resolution regarding my refund request.

This delay is unacceptable, and I am now left with no choice but to escalate this matter further.

    Shine.com — A Big Scam in the name of career booster package

    I got a call from shine.com and the agent mentioned that i need to pay 3657 for application booster package and when i checked the website shine.com there was indeed a package with same amount. the agent clarified that this amount is final and they would do all the needful process my resume. I payed the amount through the proforma generated from the email id
    [protected]@shine.com for an amount of 3657.

    then an email was sent from [protected]@shine.com with the title "Test Mail" and i was asked to send my resume. the agent informed me that they need 30 mins of my time to brief on the experience. i scheduled the call in the evening and when the agent called i briefed him about my experience and he explained about his experience. then he mentioned that they need to do a verification and i need to pay an amount of 5192. i refused to pay this amount as the same was not informed to which the agent started to blackmail me emotionally with words "everybody is paying" "can't you pay 10, 000 for a good job" "are you not serious enough for job"...i refused and then the agent tome changed from talking politely to threating.

    His name is suraj sharma and number is [protected]. this is a big scam.

    i have requested my money to be refunded and he refused to do that.

    Hindustan Times is a trusted brand and shine.com is exploiting the trust of this brand with such cheap tricks.

    I need my money back.

      I made the payment of 3999 via UPI (transaction id[protected] through HDFC bank and am still not receiving the hard copy of paper at my residence. If it is not possible to deliver the paper please refund the amount of 3999.

        We have made payment of Rs 799/- UPI Ref No[protected] dated 31 May 2023 for subscription of HT newspaper for one year. However, inspite of repeated requests/calls made to your Chandigarh HT Office, we have not received the Coupons as promised by HT office. Local dealer is demanding either payment or coupon. This shows very poor management and pathetic customer dealing by HT Media staff.
        It is requested to issue coupons so that same could be given to dealer for uninterrupted service of HT newspaper.

          I have not received Hindustan Times physical coupons for one year till today.As per AASIYA CCE, she had not received any feed back from the person whom they have delivered the coupons for onward transmission to me at my home. She believes on the person whom they have delivered the coupons and not the customer who has paid the amount in advance.
          This shows that the complainant should beg for the coupons. But I have received coupon till today Hindustan Times have cheated with me. Please look into the matter immediately.Send coupon immediately.
          My coupon number is 23R0206338.

          Please also see my complaints Nos. 00575843, 00581917, 00581926 and 00581927. As per Hindustan SMS all stands resolved without delivery of coupons to me. This shows how they resolve the complaints, without rectification.
          Further as advised by the CCE HT, I tried to call Sh Sunil Yadav, Centre I/C, Mobile [protected] is not picking the calls, better known to him.
          Also as per HT portal, Greivances I/C no.[protected] is also not picking the phone, reasons better known to him.
          Once again I request to please look into the matterand send the physical coupons immediately.

            I had subscribed to Hindustan Times and my subscription was started w.e.f 21 Mar 2023. I had complaint against the vendor for irregular supply of news paper and I was assured that he will be changed. Nothing was done and the same vendor continued. The vendor visited my house and threatened me that he will stop the subscription and despite my complaint no 00571044, no action has been taken by the management. I would like to cancel my subscription and request for the refund.

              I had subscribed to Hindustan Times (HT) newspaper (hardcopy) subscription on 29 May 2023. The payment of Rs. 1499 (online ) was made against 12 months HT paper (hardcopy delivery) in Thakur village, Kandivali East.
              During the payment, I was informed that the coupons would be received in a few days, post that the assigned vendor by you would contact me for the start of the newspaper delivery.
              I received e-coupons late on 10 Jun 2023. From the helpline ([protected]) I was informed that the delivery will start from 15 June. A vendor Mr. Virender/Ashwin connected on 14th June asking for OTP to start the delivery. The OTP message did not have any information regarding the redemption of coupons.
              As soon as I gave the OTP, my 10 e-coupons were redeemed. On call back to the vendor, he assured me that the delivery will happen from 15th Jun till next year 14 Jun.
              However, I did not receive any newspapers since the start and only 1 day delivery happened on 16 June2023.
              On repeated calls to the helpline my complaint was registered with complaint no 00569529. The area manager Kandivali, Mumbai Mr Dhiraj from HT called up and informed me that the vendor would meet me on 17th Jun 2023, Saturday and would start the delivery. Also, during the call on the helpline, I realised that HT has given 2 months backdated e-coupons starting from Apr’23 on 10 June 2023 which the vendor deceptively redeemed from me 14 June 2023.
              He mentioned that the OTP was required to start the service and since the OTP message did not have this information, the same was shared by me. This was known to the vendor and was misused to encash the opportunity.

              Despite all the above, the delivery did not start.
              On 19th Jun’23, I asked for a refund of my amount on the helpline and email (complaint[protected], the customer care executive asked to wait till evening for a call back from their manager. But I have not received any call and neither the area manager nor the vendor is picking up my call.
              It seems there is a nexus between the HT team along with the vendor and they are fraudulently taking money from customers. I have to spend my valuable time daily for nearly a month for the follow-up but to no success. This has caused me mental stress and impacted me on many grounds. It is the primary responsibility of the HT team to ensure that the delivery is ensured timely without any issue to the customer.

              I request for immediate resolution by refunding the entire amount of Rs 1499 to me at the earliest

                I have not received coupon for two year for Hindustan Times till now. Hindustan Times have very poor service.There is no response from customer care till now. Hindustan Times is continuously telling a lie . There is no response from Madam Shilpi today. Hindustan Times have cheated with me. Please look into the matter immediately and send coupon immediately.Otherwise I would be to file a complaint against Hindustan Times in consumer court.                   My complaint is still not resolved.I have not received coupon till today.No response from Madam Shilpi today.Hindustan times is continuously telling a lie. Hindustan have cheated with me.If I have not received coupon for two year till Monday.Then I shall file a complaint against Hindustan Times in consumer court.                       I paid subscription amount for one year on 10 February 2023 which was acknowledged by HT on my mail ID [protected]@yahoo.co.in but till date have not received monthly coupons for handing over the same to the vendor. Request send coupons without any delay or refund the amount of subscription (Rs.1299/-) paid by me.

                        i am 78 yrs addicted to ht since my childhood.
                        I buy ht coupons for last few years
                        of late ht delivery ht newspaper is missed on saturday or sunday and one or two days in a week.
                        My delivery man lalli mob [protected] vasant kunj 110070 does not respond.
                        Supervisor gaurav and ajit do not respond at all
                        when there is no delivery of ht i send them all messages on what apps which are on my record
                        i spoke to customer care, no relief.
                        I wonder why ht is not able to help ?
                        by may i need to buy more coupons but 8-10 missing deliveries in a month irritates me and lalki charges rs 30 pm for delivery. Why ht is not able to set their house in order? why their supervisor gaurav or ajit help? they behave like helpless spectators?

                          I have made just one complaint yesterday which is shown on this website and is still to be resolved. However, I received an SMS yesterday (6 March 2023) at 1105 AM informing that the complaint had been registered at ID No. 00529565. Today I received another SMS that the complaint had been resolved.
                          May I know the resolution provided as no such details have been provided? Please also let me know the resolution of the complaint registered here.

                            I am a subscriber to HT for a long time, may be over 15 years. As and when the renewal fell due, the subscription was renewed well in time through someone who used to contact me. If I remember correctly, it was renewed for a period of 15 months (ID [protected]) (Regd. phone [protected]). The renewal is due on 15 May 2023.

                            In the last week of January 2023, I contacted your phone[protected] and since they did not have the information for renewal for 2 years, I was assured a call back. No phone call and so I contacted them again in the first week of Feb 2023. Same assurance and same result. I just received 2 messages by email as well as by SMS asking me to pay Rs. 1299/- and Rs. 1499/-

                            I called[protected] for clarification and once again and got another assurance of call back. No result and so I made one more contact. At long last, I got a call yesterday informing that w.e.f. 01 March 2023, the rate had been revised to Rs. 1599/- for one year. No information for 2 years subscription.

                            I called once again this morning and was told whatever may have happened, the new rates will be applicable. My phone calls in Jan end and Feb beginning are said to be on record but nothing beyond that. I feel this is highly unfair to delay the response and then ask for payment at new rates. To avoid going through this exercise again, I am interested to renew for 2 years.

                            I am putting my experience in writing but going by what happened with the phone calls, I have a doubt if I will get a response, leave aside a positive one.

                              They will bite us and bark on us.Children are afraid of dogs and We are also afraid of dogs. Kids could not play and People could not go to work.
                              In night they make lot of noise . We could not sleep at home. Dead bodies of puppies are digged under the park, s ground. Please give small column in your respective newspaper. So the concerned authorities will take action against the same .

                                    I have renewed my subscription for two year (August 2021 to July 2023).

                                    Supplier Mr Malwinder collected the coupons for 24 months at a single time. Now supplier has changed, and new supplier is claiming that your subscription has expired in March 2022. When talked to the old supplier he also claiming the same. Also raising finger on me that I have not paid subscription charges for the year 2020-21.

                                    When talked to Mr. Gokul Who sold me the plan, he also not responding my call, he also told me to talk to the supplier whenever responded.
                                    It has been more than one month is over without delivery of the newspaper, I have called more than 100 times to the supplier and Plan selling agent but no use...
