[Resolved]  Hll PureIT Water Filter — Poor customer support

Iam using this filter 4m past 1 year. The product is excellent but the customer service is poor. I had booked one battery kit on 10 march 2008.But till date nobody turned up. When enquired in this regard ( to call center [protected]) it was told that it will be escalated to higher ups and will be dealt with topmost priority.
But unfortunately HLL fellows have more enthu during marketing no during maintanence.

HUL (close-up) — bad taste

I have buyed a toothpaste close-up milk calcium.And it give bad smell as well as bad taste of burned milk .
i agree nobody delivers me the battery,

Ya I totally agree with the above comments.
Infact I have to buy it & I told them to deliver to my house 5-6 days ago.
Their PUREIT ENGINEER told me kit would be delivered in 2days max. But after so many calls they haven't delivered.
I too think this surely tarnishes HLL's Image as leading consumer products provider.
This has forced me to look for some options from USHA & Aquaguard, I am going to cancel the order which I think they would deliver when they want.
I think now they (HLL) through Pureit want to beat Government Offices' in their services promptness...

I have ordered for a Water Filter Mesh about 1.1/2 years back along with Battery. During this period, I have ordered for Batteries about 3 - 4 times and I got it. But the Mesh I am yet to get. During constant follow-ups, once your helpline officials asked me to go to a shop at Ashok Nagar where I can get the Mesh. So far 4 -5 times I went there, but no use. Waste of energy, time, petrol, etc. etc. Without getting the spare parts, what is the use in having the Filter ? Will u pl arrange for a Mesh & Battery and deliver at my house? Hey guys i was about to buy this filter but after seeing all ur comments..i hav changed my plan..can u guys suggest me some good water filter other than this that would range from[protected] rupees
i to totally agree ur points. i never seen such kind of bad reponse that to from HLL products. due to this activites they dififnetely loos thier market.
Need some more attention to service also.
My pure it tap broken on 23.5.08 and complaint for tap broken and water leakage was lodged with Kothapet HLL service centre. After 4 days of continuous follow up person visited with wrong tap. Next day again came with correct tap but found tap cannot be repalced whole container to be repalced. that day instead of changing tap he changed by battery (worth Rs. 300/-) even it was not necessary (as no red mark). The executive asked me to collect the new container (by paying Rs. 550/-) from their office, and I did. But after replacing the same still water leakage not solved. I hv found one washer is mising in the new container. It seems the customer care peron deliverered a faulty unit. After several calls for repairs no vain. Now my pure it has become waste box.

Very poor service from HLL CC executives. Spoinling the name of HLL.

I have been using the hul pureit filter for the past one year..I ordered for a change in battery kit one month ago..repeated complaints have not done any practical good.I have to atleast call up the customer care 4 to 5 times everyday and the worse part is some of them don't even respond properly to the queries.With this kind of continuing bad service HUL is sure to lose its customers.High time the concerned authorities did something about this.Everytime i call up they note down the ID number and i have benn repeatedly informed that they have already registerd the complaint with the zonal office and that i will have to follow up, to get the battery delivered.What is the point in have such products in the market when they can't cater to the needs of the customer??!!

im looking for a ideal water purifier for a family of 4 members, looking for any suggestions, was considering the option of HLL pureit product any suggestions?
The product is good. But the customer service is very bad.
HLL has got good marketing startegy but will be good if it tries to show the same level of commitment after sales also.

The main complaint is replacement of battery kit. if you want to get the kit replaced in time, place the order when it is half red and half white (battery indicator). i[censored] wait till it becomes complete red and then place a request, i am sure you have drink unsafe water for a month (Yes believe me they take a minimum of one month to deliver it)

i placed a request for battery kit on 4th July. no response till 13th hence called back on 14th. they assured it will be delivered within 1 day. but still i need to back a call on 16th to follow up. :(

HLL has to strive hard to keep up its promise (i.e the SLA for delivery of battery kit 3 days)

i placed a request for battery kit and complaint for tap broken on 1st July 2008 at Chennai customer care[protected]and I've been informed that within two days they will replace the kit but no response till 08th hence called back on 09th they assured it will be delivered within 1 day and said due to address problem it was delayed (I wonder how they chaged with the same address during past????), but still i need to back a call on everyday follow up.

The product is good, however such a pathetic service i have never seen. to replace a battery kit or to complain on something, they dont have a proper number and even if we complain no one will be attending for atleast 1 week, then very rarely you may get a call from a person saying that today he is coming and then no news for another 2 weeks... please dont buy it... you will suffer once the battery is over.

Me too is a customer of HLL pure it, my kit got some error and started leaking 3 weeks back.
booked complaint in their toll free number 20 days back nothing happend, then again complaint booked with customer care on 1st of novemeber, still nobody has turned up.

customer care team are not able to give any complaint number or reference to followup

eventhough product is good, these type of service will leads to big failure.
