Holiday Vouchers — Non receipt of gift and refund

Address:Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala

Non receipt of gift and refund
I am Mr. Tony John, from Trivandrum, Kerala. Unending phone calls from your executives from the month of December 2011 for pressurising me to take Holiday Vouchers. At last I kept an option to take holiday vouchers and that was you should give holiday at Tbilisi, Georgia. Your people confirmed me that you have holiday at Tbilisi, Georgia and they made me take 1International holiday voucher for Rs. 7000/- and 2 domestic holiday voucher for Rs. 3000/- each. When I took DD for Rs. 750/- and sent you for the holiday at Tbilisi, Georgia, your people refused by saying you don't have holiday at Tbilisi, Georgia. Inspite of my repeated mails, no way you gave the holiday. By March 2012, one of your manager named Mr. Sachin called me and told that you have a Laptop as free gift and have to take 2 international holiday vouchers for getting that. Also he will arrange holiday at Tbilisi, Georgia. So I was forced to pay for the 2 International holiday vouchers and the thing is I didn't get holiday as well as Laptop. Last week again, one Mr. Abhishek Jaswal called me and told that your free gift is not in stock and so we are going to refund the gift amount of Rs. 17000/- to me. And for that he asked for my credit cards one time password and I gave it. He told me then only they can credit the amount to my account. That time he took Rs. 12000/- on 30/4/2012, Rs. 486/- on 1/5/2012 and Rs.12000/- again on 5/5/2012 from my account. So all together Rs. 52,236/- have taken from my account. In that you should refund me Rs. 24486/- recently taken and Rs. 17000/- which you offered me will refund for the gift. If we want to contact you on the number you are giving, will not respond. As told by you, you are from India Today, expecting your good relationship and the refund amount. My mobile number is [protected] and order ID is [protected]. Expecting your response and refund. Regards, Tony John

Holiday Vouchers — cheating and misleading

Hi,
This is with the reference to our telephonic complaint refernece no 1031170/1031176 with your executive Mr. Bhagat since we did not recieve any response from our earlier complaint which was launched on last friday with your executive Ms. Priya.
The enitre epsode so far is as follows:
Day 1 - Dated 29th November 10.50 am call by Miss Reena (+91 [protected]) call made to Mr Gopakumar Menon stating that he has won a free gift which happens to be a Dell Laptop worth 45000/ + a Black berry Bold 4 phone worth 26000/- rupees. Since I (Gopakumar) was travelling and i asked her to speak to my wife (Sukhvinder Menon) which your executive Ms. Reena did by taking me and my wife on a conference call.
During the call she did gave us all the details of the gift and said this gift would be shipped to us once be confirm and buy two holidays vouchers worth 5998/-, to which we replied we could get back to her tomorrow after thinking but she said that this offer is valid only for a today and we would need to but this vouchers today itself or else this gift would be passed on to the next winner,
After this the line got discnnected and the next time she called my wife and after that she explained how this vouchers could be bought online and during this entire process Reena was there online to help her and once the vouchers were bought Reena mentioned that we would get a verification call checking the important shipment details. Here she clearly mentioned to us that this verifaction would be from the Holiday team and so we need not mention the prize that we have won.
Day 2 - Dated 30th November we did get a call but since we were travelling we could not speak.
Day 3 - Dated 3rd December at 12.11 pm we got a verification call and here there was a confusion of some charges of Rs. 450 which we denied of being aware or being told by Reena. The same day Reena again called up to ask whether we had received the verification call and when we told her about this Rs.450/- issue she said that she would again arrange for a verification call as we replied to no to her question of if they and mentioned the date when the vouvhers would be dispatched.
After this there was a verification call made and during this call the lady mentioned about some sun glasses which we had won which was again news to us as this was not mentioned earlier.
Now we come to know that all this bull and there was now prize and your executive just wanted to sell the Holiday vouchers.
We would like to get this matter resolved by getting what was promised or else we would take up this matter with the consumer court and also start negative publicity on all social media networks so that no more people fall into traps like this.
It is sad for a company like yours to use such unethical means of marketing and would appreciate a positive reply from your end

Regards

Gopakumar Menon
