[Resolved]  Hometown Hyderabad — Substandard customer service

I made the big mistake of ordering a centre table and a bed from home town, punjagutta hyd. 2 Weeks have passed, the bed has not arrived and a defective piece of centre table was delivered which they could not assemble. Repeated complaints to Customer care, managers at all levels has fallen on deaf ears.Hope others learn from my experience.

i had a similar experience.bought a dining table and a tv trolley.not only service but quality is also substndard.
the staff is non courteous and have no manners.the dining table has a chair cracking at the same place for the second time in 6 months.despite repeated complaints no one cwould come to replace or repair the same.i had to go the outlet and fight to get the problem solved but only to report the same problem within a month.the tv trolley was defective and the wheels broke the moment i placed my lcd tv on it.they replaced the wheels only to see that the net set broke the next time.
this is the worst experience i have ever faced .the store manager mr.ARUN said he would replace the whole set today[protected]after 8 call to the store butn have not responded as yet (5:30pm).I think i have to take the dining table myself to the store and get the refund.
MY SINCERE ADVICE TO EVERYONE IN HYDERABAD IS NOT TO BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SUBSTANDARD STORE.TREAT IT AS AN EXHIBITION.

This is to inform you all that I have placed an order for Kitchen cabinet in the month of August 2009 and till date the work has not yet completed. But whereas it was promised to me when I placed an order that it will be completed within 45 days, now almost 90 days have gone and there is no proper response from Home Town management.

Most of the work they have completed except that they have not provided with cupboard doors. When asked about it they said that we have to wait for some other customers to order the same design and once they get that order then only they can bring our doors. I really don't understand what sort of service we are talking about and why we should wait for other people to place an order, how we are related with it. If they don't get any order of the same pattern then what will happen to our problem, how they will solve it, and will they solve it. I am really irritated and feel that why I have gone to Home Town on that fateful day when I placed an order.

I also purchased Wardrobe in Home Town on 06-Feb-10, Panjagutta-HYD. While installing Home town worker the glass was broken. I am daily following up for replacement of glass but still not at replaced. This is very ridiculous. They don't know how to satisfy the customer to purchase a next product. I am in plan to purchase further items for my new home, now I changed my mind because this worst service never seen in my life.

My name is Gopi and had the worest experience with Home town. We bought allmost evrything from home town. The services are very bad and when we call they do not respond properly. I am still waiting to get my Modular kitchen to be installed. We are waiting since 3 days. They said they will come every day. Now I have suspecious that if they instal also I do not know how many issues I will have to face. I would really like to speak to owner of home town to see they improve the quality of service. My recomendation is they staff are not qualified enogh to provide quality service. Any business man should not forget to take care of customers. Customers are gods for their business to succeed. These are my bad experiences with Home Town and hope they improve. All the very best.
I made the big mistake of buying a sofa set from Home Town, Punjagutta Hyderabad in Dec 2009. I was delivered a defective piece and I immediately complained to the call centre and wrote my comments on th delivery challan. One Mr. Prakash from the store told me that they will replace the sofa set in a month as they dont have stock. 2-3 months passed with the same excuse and one fine day his phone was switched off forever! Then I started coordinating with Mr. Vishwanath who dilly-dallied the issue and finally said we dont deal with the concerned vendor anymore! Then I coordinated with Mr. Dharmesh and Mr. Umamahesh who keep giving one excuse or the other. Its been over 10 months since i bought the sofa set and i am still running around for the replacement! This is very ridiculous. Please look into the matter and replace my sofa immediately. PASHA.
I am also a sufferer of i-Collection branch of Home town at City Center. This people had fixed a imported modular kitchen which was very poor in quality. Even though they charged us very expensive and promised quality. This has been regular issue for which we call them every quater almost. But now they have closed the shop without informing there current customer base. This has been very strange how one can just vanish like this without any information to their customer. They should have send email or letter to their customer. This shop is closed now in City Center and no wonder why ...

I bought a vanity and after repeated follow-ups received with a broken wash basin. I sincerely suggest everyone to stay away from home town as much as possible.
We recently hired their Kitchen design services from home town, hyderabad and were shocked with the photos sent to us suppose to be after their designers have spent hours designing those master pieces.

They took measurements and specifications, but did not bother to look into them while sending us the details.

I guess they pulled out couple of photos from internet and sent us that too after repeated calls.

It is a service meant to make money from people who believe that brands provide better services.

on 45days back but still problem is not resolve, After sale service is pathatic,
I have bought a refrigerator from Home Towm, from 3 days delivery ppl are making me fool. They simply say you will get the delivery today end of the day but nothing comes!!!

Really its a hell situation...

hi my name is kanth.i booked an office table on 04.06.11 and paid advance.they said they will deliver before 18.06.11.but when i try to call them today nobody is picking up the call.im so irritated coz of these hometown [censored]s.i dont know wht the hell is wrong with them.home town sucks!
I am simply irritated and annoyed I am with home town hyderabad store. I have been buying stuff from different stores of pantaloon but now it is all over. I bought a chair from home town on 31st january 2012 and was promised that it will be delivered on 2nd february but since these people are so great in their operational efficiencies that the delivery was further delayed and I got the chair on 5 february. Next i was promised that that by 6th of february the chair will be assembled at my residence but again as i said they are so very exccelent in their operations and they make their customers so happy all the times that till today that is the 8th of february I have no clue if ever my chair will be assembled or not. The salesmen (srinivas and rakesh) who sold the chair have kept their phones off, so in short they are not helping. another person called balaji promised me yesterday that today the chair will be fixed, but he is also on leave today. So in short there is no one to help me out. I have a feeling that these people are a bunch of frauds and cheaters and all they do is take money from customers by cheating them. they have zero level of service delivery. they happen to be one of the worst retailers i have ever come across. and I am not saying this just because of this one particular incident. I have similar painful incidents at Hyderabad Central too. I swear that I will never ever even look at any of the pantaloon retail stores nor advise any of my acquaintances to do so. my bill number is T80/1585. SHAME ON HOME TOWN.
