[Resolved]  Homeshop18 — Non delivery of product in spite of having stock

I booked Sony Xperia mobile phone on HomeShop18 on 20th July 2013. Made the payment through credit card and the order was accepted.
On 25th July 2013, since I did not receive the delivery of the product, I called them to inquire about the status. They informed that it has not been delivered and shall make arrangement to dispatch the same.
On 26th July 2013 I received a SMS and an Email that the order is cancelled due to no stock. Immediately I checked on their site and it was still showing IN STOCK but with a different higher rate. I called their customer care and the lady informed me that the colour I had ordered by me was out of stock (unaware of the fact that I had already seen the availability of stock on their site). So I informed her that any colour was acceptable to me. I even mailed this to them in writing by another mail. In the mean time I received a mail from Mr. Mack Donald (from HOME SHOP 18) informing that I had cancelled the order and they were processing the refund. I replied him that it was their message that informed me that they were out of stock and therefore cancelling my order and processing refund. Soon I received a mail from them informing that I have forgotten to place order for the one I was checking on 26 July 2013 indication that they have stock in the given colour.
Even today i.e 28th July 2013 at 15.43 hrs their site is showing stock available in the colour I had asked for and can be delivered to my pin code.

This indicates nothing that the company does not want to deliver the order due to increase in the rate.

I would request you to kindly take adequate legal action against the vendor HomeShop18 so that they stop such practice henceforth. Also inform me the action taken. I am interested in claiming damages from them.

I BOOKED OVEN 17 LT. WITH HOME SHOP 18 ON 9TH JUNE AND MADE PAYMENT ON 17.610 THE CO. ASSURED BY EMAIL THAT THE MATERIAL WILL BE DELIVERED WITH IN 8 DAYS OF PAYMENT BUT IT IS STILL NOT DELIVERED WHEN I CALL ON TOLL FREE CUSTOMERE CARE [protected] THEY MISGUIDE MANY WAYS . THIS IS A BIG FRUAD IN INDIA GOVT. MUST DO SOMETHING TO PROTECT THE CUSTOMER UNDER LAW. H S 18 — Non delivery of order

I have placed an Order no.[protected] for Samsung mobile on 25.07.2010. I have made the advance payment of the cost Rs.4999/- through mcheck (one of the modes of payment mentioned). I was assured that the delivery of the product will be made within 8-10 days. However even after a lapse of one month I have nor received the item till now. I have lodged a complaint no.60113567 with HS 18 ON 6.08.2010 but there is no follow up from their side. Almost daily I am taking up with them on their Toll free no.[protected], but every time I am told to wait for another 24-36-72 hours. I have already conveyed to them that either they should deliver the item or refund my payment, but they are dragging on the matter on some pretext or other. Kindly take note of it and help me in getting my complaint redressed.

Please get this addressed imnmediately to HS 18, we had some problems with HS18 and wrote big complaint and asked them to return the money if product not delivered. They immediately took action and problem was resolved in span of 10-15 days. Be affirmative when you are addressing your grivenace to them. I am sure you will soon get your handset... All the best..
HS-18 service is very bad now a days. I have decided and also advised my friends and relatives to avoid shopping on line from HS-18.
Did the courier agency miss your order? dude you should call them and check. It happened with me too once. When I went to the courier office I found my delivery lying there.

I bought "Little India Rajasthani Real Brass Sword Armour Wall Clock -107" suborder code: 48590915 on 1st October 2012. Product was packed in just a soft cardboard box and as expected the clock's front glass was broken when it was delivered. After reaching support, I was guided to send the product back to supplier and send the courier receipt to homeshop18. I complied and it's been around an year, two service requests[protected] and 75110351 and I'm still waiting for the refund for the product. They have returned the courier charges but not product money.

1) As soon as you open the support tickets, someone will ask for some information (which I already have provided) and will close the ticket. And there is no way you can reopen or REPLY to the tickets. All you do is create another one, and you are back to square one.

2) I wrote a review of the product on homeshop18 which they have conveniently removed. All you can see are good reviews, authenticity of which is highly questionable.

As mentioned above, I doubt homeshop18's intentions in doing fair business.
