[Resolved] HomeTown — bed order | |||
I purchased an Inspiron ( Queen size ) bed on the 30th of June 2013, from home town ( GIP mall Sec-38 Noida ). We were told at the time of purchase that the bed would be delivered by the 5th of July 2013 and would be assembled on the same day. However, on the 5th of July we got a call from the company saying that the bed could not be delivered as the product was out of stock. Apparently Home Town sells items to customers without knowing which items they can and can't sell. After going down the store to complain about the pathetic service, we were told by the manager ( Mr. Mohan Uppal ) that he would have the bed on display, delivered on 6th of July 2013 at 12:30 p.m. and would have it assembled latest by 5 p.m. But the fun continues, (Home Town really has a knack of duping and harassing its customers) the beds were delivered at 5 p.m. but the person who has to assemble it is nowhere in sight. Kudos to Home Town for making this experience an enjoyable one! Can't wait to buy more stuff from them. Was this information helpful? | |||
