HI, I HAD ORDERED A SOFA SET, A WARDROBE, A LIBERTY BED,A NIGHT STAND AT HOMETOWN KOLKATA ON 15/8/2009.I ALSO PAID THE FULL AMOUNT ON 27/09/2009 VIDE RECEIPT NO:1793.I WAS TOLD THAT MY PRODUCTS WILL BE DELIVERED ON 04/10/2009,BUT TILL DATE I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE BED.THE HOMETOWN SALES PERSON ARE SAYING THAT THEY DON'T HAVE THE STOCK.BUT AFTER 3 DAYS WHEN I CALLED THEM AGAIN THEY SAID I WILL BE DELIVERED ON 9/10/9.A CALL FROM THEIR WAREHOUSE WAS ALSO MADE TO ME AND I WAS INFORMED THAT IT WILL BE DELIVERED ON 10/10/2009.BUT I AM SORRY TO WRITE THAT IT DIDN'T HAPPEN.I REALLY FEEL THAT THESE PEOPLE HAVE NO CO-ORDINATION WITHIN THEMSELVES.ONE DEPARTMENT CALLS UP AND SAYS THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY STOCK,OTHER SAYS IT WILL BE DELIVERED ON TIME ETC.ETC. I AM REALLY FED UP.THEY ARE ALL CHEATERS.PLEASE TAKE ACTION AGAINST THESE SO CALLED BIG STORES. Was this information helpful? | |

I absolutely agree with what you say. These people does not have any coordination among various departments but too good in lip service. They have most pathetic, unacceptable and dissatisfactory service, I have ever came acrosss or heard of. I have purchased a bedroom set on 16th Sept 2009 and all the consignment was finally delivered on 10th Nov 2009 after lot of follow-ups. But still I got damaged 4D wardrobe & Side table and I have no idea whether my complaint will be heard or not?

I have ordered a wordrobe from Hometown, Ishanya Mall, Pune 2 months back. The cost of the product is Rs. 20000. These people told me to deliver it in 15 days. But, almost 2 months have passed now but they have not delivered it yet. Each time they are giving false promises. Despite of repeated reminder they are giving new date everytime. Could you please let me know where can I launch complaint againt them.
