Seller: Home Town - NOIDA
I bought a WR2D-MDF from Home Town - NOIDA which was delivered to my residence on 20-Jun-2011.
Today(22-Jun-11) your associate came to assemble it and when He opened the piece we found the following:
1. The Lamination on it is damaged on the front door( around 10-15 places), at the Drawer and at back side.
2. There are lots of scratches all over the almirah.
3. The lamination is coming out at the back as if it is not glued properly.
4. The boards at left side and middle are irregular and not even, there are gaps in between.
5. The key was not delivered with the consignment.
I feel cheated on seeing this and it seems Pantaloon Retail has delivered an old & damaged piece.
I will not accept this damaged piece and want full refund of amount paid along with compensation for the loss of time and harassment caused to me and my family members.
It was very sad to know that the Hometown Team knew that It was a defective piece and then also the salesperson at store did not bother to inform us of the same at store.If you are selling a defective/damaged pice then it's Home Town's duty to inform the customer of the same and mark the such a piece.
Moreover, the way these items are displayed side by side how would I know that it's broken at the top or at the back or at the side- the places which are not visible.
It's really shocking to know that such a big brand works and fools loyal and returning customers like me in such a way.
Please close this case and refund my full amount as:
1. I did not find anything suitable which I can buy from your store in lieu of this damaged piece.
2. I am in urgent need a WR and I can buy only when I get my refund.
3. After such a episode of cheating, I don't think I would ever be able to buy anything form Home Town in future.
