[Resolved]  Honda Car India — Overcharging & not responding

I purchased honda city zx no. Dl4c nc 3045 from m/s ring road honda (Sugoi motors pvt ltd) 21a, shivaji marg, new delhi-110015 vide their invoice no. 5946 dt 15/07/2008.In this connection i am to state that i am charged rs. 20581.00 by them towards insurance charges whereas total insurance premium shown in the policy no. 3001/54544854/00/000 sent to me by m/s ring road honda on 13 oct 2008 is
Rs. 15837.00. As per these two documents they have overcharged me rs. 4744.00. This overcharging clearly reflects the unfair practices being adopted by this dealership.

They have also debited me rs. 800.00 towards logistics charges which have not been reflected in the invoice. Had these been genuine charges these would had been reflected in the invoice.

Inspite of my complaint to the dealer and to the honda car india, no one has paid any attention to the same. This is the state of affair of honda car company that neither they nor their dealers ever bother about customer’s complaints.

I own a Honda Accord 2.3VTi MT, 2002 model. The engine consumes oil. I think this problem is a manufacturing defect. It came to know after 40KKM completion. There should not be any cosumption or burning of engine oil in such mileage. There is no leakage. The car has been serviced properly and change of engine oil is done regularly. This VTEC engine has problem in manufacturing only. I never notice any car which consumes oil if regularly maintained.
Honda Service Centers in Gurgaon - Ring Road Honda & Pearl Honda - are not capable of repair. They can only replace. And even when they replace most times in things like windows, doors, inside ceiling etc they end up screwing up. Honda is only good when new and in the name of the overpriced service they wash, change oil and air filters. Even there they screwed up once by not tightning the engine oil bolt once in my car due to which all oil leaked from my car and the engine almost seized. Shame on Honda and their service set up in India. Never buy this car and if you do sell it withn 2 years. It cannot be serviced by this incompetent bunch after that.

You have now reduced the price of the car by Rs. 66, 000/- I had purchased the card in April 2010. This is a direct loss to purchasers like me. It has brought down the value of my car immediately. Will Honda SIEL compensate me for this loss
I have purchased honda jazz in 2010. Now honda has reduced the price of 1.5 lakhs. It is very shock to me because before reduction price who are all purchase the jazz totally cheated by honda car india. And about service, honda car india advised to service every 3month or 5000km which ever is less. but other car manufactures advised to service every 6 month or 5000km which ever is less. so i am doubt about the faith on honda. My conculusion is totally honda car india cheating the customers.
I have not heard anything of my complaint made months ago regarding the price reduction and there would be any compensation. Will someone respond please

Kalra honda showroom — defective part not replaced

dear sir,
I purchased a new honda scooty (Aviater) in the month of April 2011. When i had payed the amount and during handing over to me the scooty I was shown the partly damaged rear side mud guard and assured that it will be replaced very soon, But now it is 5 months and the damaged part has not been replaced. Every time I visit and enquire about it they bluntly refuse to do so and make mockery of it. I feel cheated and pathetic as a costumer.I request through this forum to teach a lesson to the show room so that they never make false promises and behave respectively to the costumers who spend their hard earned money for new products and get the damaged parts.

Resultant, the car was on total lose & the estimate value recorded 10, 35, 000 Rs. after the incident. Therefore the showroom is demanding the estimate charges "5%" which is to high in comparison of other companies, and i am unable to pay it. Delay in Car Servicing

On 14-October, 2011 (Friday), our driver brought our car, Honda CRV (DL 7C F 6207), to be repaired at Bas Engineering Pvt. Ltd., Plot No. 33, Udyog Vihar, Phase-4, Sector-18, Gurgaon-122001 . It was an accidental car and to be insured but later we came to know that no claim can be made. After giving car for service, we were hadn’t given any date of delivery, just told that whenever it will repaired, we will be informed but we never received call from concerned person.
Before our driver was following but he never got exact status, then, one of our employee named Anupama Dutt, called them to get the status and she was told that some repair & alignment work is pending and will be done by 21-22 Dec.11 and we get delivery by 22-Dec.11 (Thursday), but when I called to get delivery, I get to know that heating coil is not repaired and whole engine is opened to repair it and Engineer told me that by 23-Dec. (Friday), there work will be over and then, Insurance Surveyor can do his procedural survey and they will deliver car on 27-Dec. (Tuesday). Again, we have called on 28-Dec. (Wednesday), giving some spare time, but again we were told that Heating Coil is ordered from Honda and will be received after 6-Jan because Honda is closed till then, so, now delivery date is given to us is 8-Jan.12.
At this point your shop had our car from more than two months and I still did not know when it would be delivered or when I'd receive an estimate.
At this point, I'd received no communication from your shop other than when it was initiated by our side. I was desperate at this point and very disappointed. .

I'm writing you this letter to make you aware of the severe lack of communication in your shop. We are so upset at the delay in repairing of car and no one have courtesy to keep us informed. The not knowing and wondering was frustrating and showed little respect for our time and money. As this car was used as a mode of transportation, it was crippling for us to be without a car for that length of time.

At this point, an apology will not undo the damage done. Please make the arrangements to repair our car and deliver it soon. If you have any questions, please call us at the number in below signatures.

This is my 2nd feedback in less than a month. I guess Honda does not care for customer service any more. I am again on Honda's mercy to get my Car AC fixed as they do not have a specific part in stock. Which means I cannot use my car till it is fixed. Last time I had to wait for 8 days for a small part..not sure for how many days I am going to wait this time. Is Honda going to give me a replacement car while I wait for mine to be fixed ??

I bought New Honda Brio car in Aug'12 from RR Honda, Gurgaon-Haryana. But after 1st service there is one bubble came out on it's front wheel, so I did follow-up with RR Honda and they provided me MRF Tyre repetitive no. I asked, I bought Car from RR Honda, so why should I chaise MRF for any issue. No body listen this and I did follow-up with MRF with following person but they are also not responding.

Reference tailed mail. I had sent my BRIO to Paras Honda wherein I got a proper response from Local Staff wherein they have informed that fault in my new BRIO ( air flow knob not working properly ) will get analyzed by their Service Engineer from HONDA who will visit Jodhpur which doesn’t seem to happen in near future to me.

At first stage I was dissatisfied from Autokam Honda-Udaipur from where I bought vehicle as they refused to respond, now Honda itself seems to be Q.

If this query can not be resolved this time please let me know, would not waste my time behind a renowned company, would have better gone for Maruti Vehicle.

We have been cheated by paras honda, they handed over a 2nd hand honda brio to me. The car was insured 1 month before the date of purchase and was insured to some other person. I am so pissed off with such a bad experience with my first car :( :(

I purchased my Brio Smt, -DL9CU 4245 from Automax Honda, Mayapuri in October 2012.
We are based out of Darya Ganj and yet expecting best servicing from the dealer you purchase your car from, I send my Brio to Mayapuri for servicing. First Servicing was OK-simple cleaning etc.

Last week-May 2013, I booked another Brio SMT from Automax, Mayapuri for my sister with customer loyalty in mind.
During that course i mentioned that somehow I was not satisfied with my local mileage and hope that it will be rectified during the second servicing.
Since then, Ms Swati started calling me about extended warranty for 3rd and 4th year and as I mentioned my 2nd free servicing for the car, she arranged for that, calling repeatedly about the extended warranty.
I reconfirmed with her that this is a 2nd free service and she confirmed, never once mentioning any expenses.

On Sunday-18th, May, My car is picked by driver Arun for servicing. Once there relationship manager calls and to my utter surprise; says that I will be charged Rs 3000/- for fuel change, filters, wheel alignment etc.
Never once before was there a mention of any expenses. It was always a free service.
I complained to Rajkumar about it, and in my anger had said, to not make the changes and that I will talk to Swati about it
I spoke to Swati and told her about it and she said she will consult the advisor and get back to me.
She does not call and the car is returned post servicing at 5 PM without the oil or filter changes.
The car cleaning was pathetic-no proper vacuum, hand stains on door sides. I showed the driver also all this and also filled in the feedback form.

One does not expect such shoddy services from Honda. . When you call repeatedly for warranty etc, and I confirm with you about a free service, why wasn't I clearly informed on the expenses involved? Why was I told about these only when the car had reached the dealer service station? Why didn't Swati revert back when she had said so. I thought that she has discussed with the service advisor and they have sorted the issue amongst themselves, and that is why, she didn't call me back. I was made a fool of, as I realised later.
Why will I send my car such a far distance for simple cleaning and that too-a pathetic job. The stain at the boots key area, the mud on opening the boot, it was all still there. My regular car wash guy does a better job tan what i got at a Honda Service station.

Now, I will have to again get a paid service done for required oil change and filter change, and also wheel alignment
I am really pained and will never refer AutomaxHonda, mayapuri to anybody again.

We booked honda Amaze on 5th may from Prime honda vaishali ghaziabad .They committed 4-6 weeks delivery time. when we checked 15 days after booking, dealer said that we might get delivery by July. It was disappointing as we thought that we will get by mid June.We again rechecked after few days.Now they replies"Sir waiting jeyada hai, you have to wait till sep".
I am highly disappointed by the behavior and response of Honda dealer executive. Being my first Sedan, I thought of only Honda. But the response from Honda's side has completely changed my expectations from Honda Brand.
I have decided to cancel my booking and would switch over to Maruti.
One way I am satisfied that I am not buying Honda as I dont know what lay ahead, when I would have taken my car for service from them!!!

Repeated complaints made to Customer Support and Arya Honda Shiveri, Wadala, Mumbai.
I gave my car for a major repairs in the month of January, 2013 and then the same was send for rework in Feb, Same rework for March, 2013 April, 2013 and now its again, the person in charge is Mr. Nilesh Alekar, who has done all time follow up but after spending almost more than half a lac of rupees on car the car is not repaired as it was suppose to be. the same thing is brought notice to Mr. Rajendra Sawant who is again a managerial level staff then he also gave a false commitment to repair the same, after that some how i manage to got the number of Mr. Anand Bose who is i suppose again the higher level staff, he assured me of sending some one who will take care of my problems, one gentleman. I specifically told them now this time i will require a courtesy car as enough time i gave a chance to repair my car, or else you give me compensation of alternate transportation on daily basis till the time you make my car upto the mark.
They had offered me a Santro Car, I was surprise that HONDA gives a courtesy car as HUNDAI car ???????
I refused the same and now till date they have not called me up for repairing my vehicle.
Since the Vehicle is not repaired in proper manner due to which other parts are also started damaged due to one part damaged.
People Call up from Service Centre Asks me Sir You had given your Vehicle for Repair the work done is satisfactory or not ? even if you say no then also no body care to respond to the feedback call.
Every Honda Part has a unique number (for those who dont know this is the information). Even if they have to change the Part in FOC they have to raise the bill to mention the part detail so that in future that particular part is installed in your vehicle is shown in history of the vehicle, From January to April, 2013 they changed 2 times Lower Armed and they returned me both the time old parts but they billed me once and if they replace the same under parts warranty then they will not return the old part but they return me both the time. on my inquiry they said some one else's part is kept in your car.
There are lot many things to narrate but...
ARYA HONDA is a cheater and Honda Cars do not take this email in the right spirit then might as well in near future they will vanish from the market. All level employees are being involved in this type of cheating and fraud.
I have buy Honda Amaze Model – 1.5 VXMT Diesel (Reg. No. RJ-01 CC 3501, Chassis No. MAKDF253EDN[protected] on last May 29, 2013 from Rudraksh Honda, Ajmer. This Car has very nice design & Interior. Honda Company told me that this car give me Average ( Mileage) in Diesel is 25.8 Kmpl. But It is very sad to say that till today My Amaze is not giving mileage 25 Kmpl or near it. It gives Mileage below than 15 Kmpl only in 2 months.
It’s Mileage is very bad and varies too much. I have travelled around 3900 km. Last month, I travelled to Shrinathji, approx 300 Kms. far from Ajmer with full tank. This route, is completely Four lane highway and even on a such good route I couldn’t get the average more than 15 Kmpl. I filled diesel from various pumps and most of the time I got around 12-15 Kmpl. The minimum was 12 and maximum was 15 Kmpl. Yesterday, I’ve visited Kotputili, Near Bahror on Six Lane Highway. In this travel, i surprised to see that I got only 13-14 Kmpl. Mileage. It’s not according to your commitment.
We have compliant at Dealer’s Office and Service Centre in Ajmer. They called us three times with car for check of mileage but problem remain as it is. Here we are not only one, who complaint about mileage. This is not good for your Amaze customers
