[Resolved]  HONDA-DIO — Improper (heavy, jerky) running of a vehicle since the day of purchase

Dear Concerned,

This has the reference to the problem in the vehicle (Honda-Duo) Registration no(G J 6 D S 9338 ) Purchased on 2/09/10 from C.R.Scooters Race Corse Circle Baroda,
Gujarat.

Pls find the trail mail for complete and detailed understanding of the grieveance.

In One line i would like to put it this way that " My vehical has got the problem (of starting, running smooth) for which its been intimated to the company and the service center. The vehical has gone for resolution of the problem SEVERAL TIMES to the registered service center; despite that my vehicals problem is yet not resolved. I do not have time to go after either the service center or the company."

My request is to replace the vehical and a new vehical is to be given as the problem is since day one of purchase and it's been informed to the company.

Look forward for the genuine and prompt action.

In continuation to the trail mail, I went to the workshop on 25th to pickup my Dio but to my utter surprise, THE PROBLEM OF HEAVY RUNNING, OVER HEATING IS YET NOT RESOLVED.........

YOGESH is the mechanic who had taken test drive with me who acknowledged that despite keeping my Dio in workshop for one another day didn't solve the issue.
I had decided not to take the Dio back and keep it in the workshop only till the time the issue is not resolved. But Mr. MIHIR from workshop was not ready to understand
and was forcing me to take the vehical back as as per them they had resolved the problem.
Immidiately I spoke to Mr.SAGAR and made him speak to the mechanic, YOGESH, who had taken the test drive. Mr SAGAR requested me to take the DIO back to home for two days and bring it back to workshop on 28th or 29th Sep'10
which i've mentioned in the job card too.
Now I'll be giving my DIO back to workshop for the resolution iof an issue WHICH HAS NOT BEEN RESOLVED DESPITE ALL EFFORTS DONE BY EVERY GOOD MECHANIC. Now I do not want any experimentation to be done by you, I WANT
EITHER MY MONEY BACK or THE VEHICAL TO BE REPLACED BY NEW PIECE........And I mean it......

This is with reference to the problem in the vehicle (Honda-Duo) Registration no(G J 6 D S 9338 ) Purchased on 2/09/10 from C.R.Scooters Race Corse Circle Baroda,

The said vehicle has got the problem since day one. It has got the problem of HEAVY RUNNING, BRAKE JAM AND OVER HEATING .It was conveyed to the
dealer’s people initially only when the vehicle didn’t even cross 150 kms reading . The technician Mr NARENDRA took a test drive and had identified the problem. He
had suggested me to visit a semi workshop like place near Pandya bridge Baroda where Mr RANA is the in-charge. I went there and met Mr Rana and he handed over my vehicle to one of his mechanics who took a test drive and he also identified the problem in the vehicle .He did something with AIR AND PETROL SPACE SETTING to increase the pick up and had opened up the rear wheel and took out he brake liner .When asked by me the reason to take out the liner ,he replied that the thickness of the liner is not proper and heavy running is because of this. He started scratching the liner with some rolling machine to reduce the thickness. On seeing this I had objected to do the same as I did not want any repairing. Then Mr RANA asked me to visit the workshop in Jetalpur road ,Baroda. The mechanic gave a remark that "the workshop people will make you run for 15- 20 days and despite that will not be able to identify the problem, which I have identified".
All this happened in front of Mr Narendra,and this incident actually broke my confidence on HONDA and I gave a call to HEAD OFFICE ABD FACTORY (HARYANA) 18th of this month and spoke to Mr ARUN who is a senior person there.He listened to my problem and advised not to worry and to take a prompt action because of which I had received a call from Mr Anil Gogle (JETALPUR, BARODA) on 20th sep and asked me to visit the workshop .Next day when I went
there Mr Anil Gogle himself took a test drive and had admitted and identified the problem of heavy running and over heating and advised me to keep the vehicle there only and made a job card for the same Next day when I took my vehicle from there
by evening I was shocked to realize that there was no improvement in the vehicle and was still running heavy .I fail to understand how a senior mechanic identifies the problem and is unable to resolve it.
Next day that is on 23th again I went to the workshop and gave my vehicle to get the problem resolved. There Mr Anil Gogle had no answer and had advised one of
his mechanic probably Mr (SALIM) to take a TEST DRIVE AGAIN .on which Salim took the test drive and he also identified and acknowledged the same problem of heavy running. Though I had given the vehicle in the workshop for the problem to
get resolved. I was not happy and I had given a call to Mr Arun in head office HARYANA to inform the same Today in the morning I had received a call from someone called Chirag in the workshop who informed that the vehicle Is OK now and I can pick it up any time. When I asked him what all he has done , he replied that there was some dust in the carborator which he has cleared and now the vehicle is OK. I am going to take my vehicle in the evening but my question is-

1)Despite all great efforts done by the so called Sr mechanics who had identified the problem of heavy running and the solution was so simple of cleaning the
carbonators ,WHY IT TOOK SO MUCH OF TIME?

2)I will be going to get the vehicle by today evening but this time if I find that the problem is coming again, I WANT THE VEHICLE TO BE REPLACED IMMEDIATELY.

It just 6 month i bought honda dio after doing two servicing and just getting n avarage go 30km/ltr where actual it was mentioned 60km/ltr. How i will get solution for the same
