Though I purchased my new Honda City CVT in May 2004, till date I have driven it only for 30, 000 Kms. A month ago I noticed that the AC was not cooling. As suggested by Honda's customer service representative I got it checked by the new local agent (the previous agent is no longer handling Honda cars). The dealer gave a quote of Rs.13, 500/- which I reported to Honda Siel cars India Ltd. and requested that as it is a bought out part and the AC condenser developed a leak due to its poor quality. As such Honda should repair the AC free of charge. It is unbelievable that the AC condenser could fail within 30, 000 kms of driving despite its age of 4 years.
I have sent 2 reminders but till date Honda Siel Cars India Ltd. have not bothered to acknowledge or reply.
