My Sad Story:-

In the first week of Dec 07 I sent my friend to service the bike as I was facing some problems with my fuse. The officer at the Honda service center in Thane (Sai point Honda pvt. Ltd.) Gave a talk off that as my service date is 25th of December I will not be able to service this bike now. Thinking this to be true coming from a officer on duty I had no option but to have my problem corrected at road side mechanic. How found a lose wire causing the fuse to burn-out. He did this in 2 mints flat. The BIG Honda service technician was not fit to diagnose a small problem.

As I was not able to come back on the 25th Dec 07 & because of some family problems I took the bike in today for a service (5th Feb 08). To my utter surprise they refused to honor the 4th free service. When I pointed out the fact that you had refused to take the bike in 1st week of Dec 07 they refused to hear me out. The Manager was rude and to the point this was a take it or leave it situation. He also said go and complain to any one go even to Japan & no body will hear you.

WHY should I have to lose one free service? I have first approached Honda within the time frame. They should take responsibility of same.

I would like to say out of the 3 joys Honda philosophy is based on Joy of buying is some thing I have lost.

The advice to all my friends is you can have a good bike but it is no good without proper service & that is Customer Service. We should be sure the company is not out to robe us from our rightful dues.

I would like to register a strong protest against the pathetic service given to me by the Honda service center and forcing me to lose one free service which was my right.

We would like to bring to notice that we have given HONDA UNICORN No. MH-03 AD 3044 bike for insurance claim after accident to your authorized dealer in Navi Mumbai M/s. PRATIK HONDA their showroom no.[protected] / 9988/ 9966 and workshop no.[protected] / 27650516

We regret to say that such a reputed Company HONDA their appointed dealers are not co-operating with us properly and all excuses are given no assurance from their side. We requested that all formalities from Insurance Co. are completed and clearance given by surveyor on[protected]. than why ? delay in changing the spare parts more than a TWO weeks are passed.

After all this your authorized dealers Mr. Pratik the owner couldn't come to speak with us and he informed his Technician person on phone that if they are in a hurry let them take back half prepared bike. If technical people handle customers it will TOPSY-TURVY and non of any customers will be happy. We asked them to give us customer care email address of Gurgaon Factory, he proudly admitted that such emails and complaints are in papers only no solution

It was informed that their is an shortage in supply of spare parts from gurgaon HONDA company come think it is possible and how i can claim my insurance. But why they don't keep stocks and how much time bond required if the material comes from Gurgaon max. one week a sufficient time.

Regret to say How HONDA is appointing such a dealers pl. think.

We look forward for your immediate action on the above matter please ACT and help your valued customers who love HONDA.

I am a holder of HONDA UNICORN (Reg No KL-32-61, Engine No.KC09E9045119, chassis No.[protected] which I bought from EVM Honda, Vyttila, Ernakulam with an extended warranty of 5 years on[protected]. I did all my 6 free services there in time. Since I was not satisfied by their service, (the bike was not properly washed and the complaints which I told were not cleared), I complained to the Customer Relationship Manager . This was during the fifth and I didn’t get a positive reply. The same thing happened for the sixth one. So I decided to do all my services in a near by workshop at Cherthala, Alappuzha (Dist) Now almost all nuts and chain box of my bike is rusting, I complained to EVM Honda, Vyttila, Ernakulam .They are telling that I have to pay for it since I am not doing all services in their workshop .This is absolutely cheating .What should I do to clear my problems and continue with the extended warranty.

i booked honda unicorn black model 2 days back at 67350. from om sai honda in mahim. can u pls tell me if this price is right or not . and they have not given me any free accessories. what r the accessories that u provide. they r telling that price will increase from 1ST of oct is this correct.
Service Centre Horrible Experience (Unicorn): After paying Rs 285 only for servicing - without tyre alignment or any significant contribution, m/s Pratik motors @ Vashi, Navi Mumbai did not even wash the vehicle properly (completed servicing with wash in 20 min). When queried for Honda motor engineer, i was told that he visits once in 15 days.
also paid rs 300 for speedometer cable. too much.
Why should one consider the official Service centres & help these bugger to mint money from our pocket ??

since i gave my to the honda sevice center (marikar nedumangad)i have no problem
i got about 69km/lt as milege at highway
in service center they told me that if your bike covered 25000km u have to clean the head.so i gave them and told them that i have a small gear problem.they took 3 weeks to repair and i bought 2000rs as parts and a service charge of 600
now i have some bearing loose sound from the engine and i get only 46 milege
the service from that center is too bad
and my friends also told me this.
unicorn is a good bike but
if the service also good the costumer will happy.coustmer satisfaction is the best thing for a company

Dear all,

stay away from EVM-Honda or any other honda service people. Even if you go to Japan with the complaint, you are not going to get you problem solved.

Better go the American way. Learn all stuff yourself (DIY) way.
i have brougt the honda unicorn in november and have serviced the bike at AMMA MOTORS(Authorised sales and service providers for honda), . at my second service i have notice that my exhaust pipe was damage by the worker washing the bike . i made a notice of that to the concern personnal, but he instead blame me for the damage done saying that i have done the damage, instead i told him to change the exhaust damage pipe which i will not pay for.

my question here is why the authorised dealer can make such a mistake and take his hands-off it?

The Services and the attitude of the staff at the Sai Point - Thane authorised service center of Honda is pathetic, no co operation at all to the customers, if a customer has logged in the bike or the scooter with a complaint and has requested to rectify the problem, with any work done the vehicle is handed over to him, and he has to shout on the service manager and the staff, still the service manager tries to make his attempt to clarify his side which actually pisses more.

Wanted to know what is the use of the authorised service dealers if the same work can be done with a local mechanic without any complaints on the delivery of the vehicle.
Honda Service for two wheelers is extremely poor and the attitude of the staff in Gurgaon India, so pathetic that I have stopped going there for service. Strangely, they refused to take my bike for servicing saying we did not ask you to come. We do service only when we call you. Amazing!! I thought we get servicing done when the bike needs it or within the stipulated time. These guys makes trusting a brand like Honda really difficult. I regret bying the bike. I am definitely never going be a Honda customer again.
dear sir, im yousing honda unicorn from last four years and is giveing me good service but from last one and half year is giveing me trouble. my bike feultank is rusted from all side and petrol is comeing out from all place now how to sholve my problem please help me in this case it is very urgent . thanking you please answer my problem im waiting for the answer
I have honda unicorn for last 10 months, i serviced at EVM vytilla, but it seems to be very poor..there servicing is too bad...Iam feeling always noise from the tarpet, and i gave my bike 3 times for servicing, but no use...

the servicing of EVM HONDA(TRIVANDRUM) is very poor..............
I am honda unicorn user , one month before i had an accident, in that my bike's visor and mud gurd broken .after this i given my bike to honda service center which is in payyanur (kandoth) on 16MAR2011.In that condition service center give no response even after i went seven times in one month.They are giving statement that visor is not available.their excuses are not satisying for me . so please take a keen interest towords my complain.my vehicle number is KL 13 S 5486.

Honda and its Bikes especially Unicorn horrible. I haven't used such a dirty bike in my life... Keep away from those who claimed as 'authorized service people'. My surprise is that, even after getting all these repeated complaints the tycoon of the motor world HONDA is why sleeping over the matter? For sure one day the consumers will unite and will revolt against your sleeping mode. So I have one advise to those who are eagerly waiting to have a Honda product that is THINK TWICE.

I am facing similar problem in Pune. None of the Honda dealers are having visor with them. Their behavior is very rude. They say Honda is not producing visor anymore... what does that suppose to mean?? How can they just stop producing part of a vehicle which they launched just 4 years back !!??

This is really frustrating. Please take action and get a Honda representative to answer this.
