[Resolved]  HP Pavilion Notebook — Home Theater System is not delivered by HP

Home Theater System is not delivered by HP.
I purchased a HP laptop in Jan 2009.As per the promotional scheme by HP they were offering Philips Home Theater System with the laptop.

I already sent required following documents.

1. A draft of RS 1499/-- (in favoring SOLUTIONS INTEGERATES MARKITING SERVICE PVT LTD)
2. Copy of invoice receipt
3. Product Serial No.

All the above documents I sent to the following address mentioned by HP on date 16-Jan2009; they received all the documents on date 17-Jan-2009 also I received the acknowledgment by email from them in which they promised to deliver Home Theater System in next 6 weeks.

Now its been around 4 months from the date when they received all required documents but still home theater system is not delivered to me. Many times I contacted them by phone and by email; each time they promised me to deliver the home theater by postponing the delivery date by next 10-15 days. Now I am really sick from such unbelievable promises from their side.

I think many consumers like me are facing this problem.

So I am requesting to Consumer Forum Court to please do needful in favour of me.

Your attention is invited to the references cited at (1) & (2) above. It is regrettable to say that the gift has not been received even after a lapse of 7 months. Reply received in this regard is “ -------Will be despatched on receipt of the stock----” This is not a proper reply . Is it require such a long time to receive the Stock?. This should not be the way of dealing with a HP customer. I have observed that there are complaints from number of customers. When will you receive the stock and when the gifts are despatched to the purchaser, seems to be in ambiguity.

I therefore request you to obtain and despatch the gift (Philips 5.1 Home theatre including DVD player, 5.1 output and remote plus 5.1 speaker system) at the earliest not later than by the end of this month, otherwise I will have to approach the Consumers Court.

Hope the gift will be sent to me in time.
